Dual mining eth and pascal aren't as profitable as the others, the coins that are more profitable are nearly even to each other so its more of preference to which we have been choosing, or at least that is what I've noticed.

I just purchased the 1080Ti.  I was planning on using the Claymore miner for ETH and Pascal.  Is there a better option I should be following with this particular GPU?

After signatum had it's first halving I moved back to DGB-skein, with 3 tis and one 1060 i'm netting close to 900dgb a day, so $10-$14/day, seems close enough to optimal and I don't have to jump algos constantly.

If you want to accumulate BTC then I'd say stick with automatic conversion.

I have DGB in my account - to be honest- I didn't know much about Skein- I thought skein could only be used to mine DGB lol -i'm a newbie still. Now I'm mining ZEC at flypool and accumulating them. I'll switch once I see a rise. It's like hedging your bets- if you only keep btc then that's it-no hedge. (That's my theory)

Last time my DGB was worth 19 bucks or so and I was able to sell them at $34 - that's a huge plus for someone mining with one card.

If you know could you enlighten me-on how I can use Skein to mine something other than DGB? or you just use sniff dog and let it do it's thing? and Nemo.

So once I get my cards I'll have 1070-1080-1080ti and perhaps the last one I'll get would be another 1080ti -that's  a big maybe. I still have 1500 w PSU . Maybe even an AMD lol but going slowly is allowing me to keep my options open and I await a sneaky discount and then buy lol.

1080ti is pretty sweet for signatum.

Edited: I keep wondering if it is earning me more to mine dgb at flypool or TBF, and have it exchanged myself. It would be more work too.

What do you think? I will not keep DGB, so it will be exchanged almost every day or so. I need BTC atm.

Considering - around minimum $930-940 for 1080ti and $700 minimum for 1080 - CAD and I use blower style only. Better for heat dissipation for my PC case. I do have 1500W PSU in my PC but I'm not a big baller so I'm taking baby steps and only purchasing stuff that would give me shortest ROI. I can run 5 graphics card from my PC though. Plan is 1x1080ti , 1x 1080 , 1x 1070 - then once money rolls in- then decide. Another 1080 and 1070 won't be with me until end of September if at all(scarcity and all) Fingers crossed though.

1080- 3.69$ ZCL
1080ti - 4.38$ ZCL

So you'd need extra 300 days to earn that $200 from that extra 70 cents (all else being the same, currency and what not-) . I haven't done power calculation yet because it isn't of concern to me just yet.

Can you tell me if there's a huge difference between those 2? in earnings?

I was worried that I'd be stuck with mining same coins-

Now , when my new cards show up-if they ever do- apparently shipping date for 1080 is 21 sep  and 1070 is 24 september then 1070 would solely be used for ETH - 1080ti and 1080 I'd use for same stuff.

720 sols where? what pool?

my strix was doing 780+ sols with less than 400w for entire rig. think it was about 300w, i dont have a meter anymore plugged in.
gpu temp is less than 60°c with fans at 70%, cpu at 29-32 °c (open rig)



if you are like me and you want to earn btc, you should play around with different algos.. i tried a few places mining eth, but was earning less than at hr with skein

What miner are you using? Your stats sounds incredible. My cards are running over 200w at 75% with 120 overclock and they are only doing 720sols.
