Anyone tried monero mining with the ti? Any good miner to use?

Private miner cost 0.1btc! Not ready to park that kind of money there now

I tried xmr-stak-nvidia. Only 770h/s. Even my Rx480s do 700h/s. Not worth it.

Any source for the private miner and hash rate detail?

SP is selling it
Unless maybe group buy which I think he is not happy  lol

But small rig is just not economical to pay 0.1btc
Wonder why he's not just charging a flat fee like claymore, it's a fair deal IMHO.

SIGT core developer (doctor I think he goes by), I understand is now very unhappy at crow and will do his up-most to make SIGT a success for all  Grin

Ya, I was in their discord yesterday reading through the history. He was hard at it all weekend making sure all the objectives they set will be met.

be careful before buying INO3D cards , now they print on the box that warranty may be avoid if they discover the card was used to mine

I believe SIGT is too risky ATM. I prefer safe and sound ZEC. It will rise in the future as well.
1k$ per ZEC easy. DGB risky too :S

1080ti is pretty sweet for signatum.

I think it's best card for signatum.

Signatum algo sponsored by Nvidia to boost 1080Ti sales?  Grin

Soon I will join the 1080Ti owners club!
SIGT reward will be halved again in 2 days so it's not worth mining.

Usually halving will make coin price to double current value. It should happened to SIGT on first halving but because of dev team issue, it did not achieve. We will see how the price of SIGT 2 days later.
Doubt the price will go up x2 just because the reward got cut in half, may as well buy them instead of mining, much faster profit.

Guys, what kind of efficiency improvement do you get when underclocking? Does someone have hard numbers?
...

I overclocked /underclocked my Aorus 1080 Ti Xtremes to core +120 (1841MHz) and memory -2000 (9010MHz) with power limit at 85% and getting around 59 MH/s in tpruvot's ccminer x86 2.2 per every single card!

Hm in MSI afterburner i can only reduce memory speed to -550 Mhz. Can you please tell me what tool you are using to reduce the memory speed that much? Thanks

look at his numbers, he uses a soft that counts a different way the memory speed. at the end he is not downclocking more than you do I think.

but you can use nvidia inspector that allows -1000

Skunk algorithm is pretty sensitive for overclocking/underclocking of 1080 Ti in a good and most efficient power consumption way for me.

I overclocked /underclocked my Aorus 1080 Ti Xtremes to core +120 (1841MHz) and memory -2000 (9010MHz) with power limit at 85% and getting around 59 MH/s in tpruvot's ccminer x86 2.2 per every single card!

It seems that lowering memory clocks to lowest possible value helps gaining hashes in this specific algorithm.

For example at stock settings (1721MHz / 11010MHz) and power limit at 100% these Aorus 1080 Ti Xtreme cards are giving only about 52 MH/s per card in the same miner with each card pulling 100W more of the wall in contrast that when they are actually underclocked to settings I described, pulling 100W less of the wall per each card, yet still running about 7 MH/s more per card at skunk!

I guess it is because of GDDR5X memory types these cards have and that's why lowering memory clocks a lot surprisingly gains more hashes at these cards.

Hm in MSI afterburner i can only reduce memory speed to -550 Mhz. Can you please tell me what tool you are using to reduce the memory speed that much? Thanks

I use Aorus native utility called "GRAPHICS ENGINE" for overclocking/underclocking.
I am not sure whether that tool would work also for 1080 Tis of other brands and manufacturers, but probably not.  Undecided

Will power 2 rigs with a IBM bladecenter 2880W, if the difference in efficiency is low enough i'll just run 12 close to stock, or 14 down tweaked.

Any recomended brand for the 1080Ti, Blower type? I'm considering the Asus Turbo but any sugestion is welcomed.
