Yeah, I was doing that but for me that's putting a lot of faith in just BTC -what I'm doing now- it divides the faith in DGB ZEC and BTC lol

Are you all- automatically converting your currencies into BTC ?

So far only way I've been able to make good money is via - mining Skein (DGB) and Zec and then waiting until it goes above the price where I started mining them. Ideally I start mining when they start falling lol based on this method I'm at around ~7-7.30$ a day. Based on current standing. If I automatically mine just BTC- that's a lot of faith in just one BTC

I have a single 1080ti and past few days I've been using another 1080 along with my 1080ti - so I'm just collecting DGB and ZEC now-

I wish there were software that allowed us individual mining- as in I can select 1 card to do ZEC other to do DGB and third on ETH

I've ordered another card 1070 lol - three different cards in one PC .

music coin appears to be the most profitable to mine at the moment , i haven't really looked into it though because im pretty sure its a shit coin that just been pumped. I just mine dgb and sell when the price rises slightly. Mining and then auto converting to btc doesn't seem like a very efficient way to mine iin my opinion.

And? Even if they know that the gpu has run 24/7? Thats not illegal or against their Terms of sales. Even if it's true, how to verify with a fried GPU?
They have no legal right to refuse a RMA, you could sue them badly.
I have RMA some 1060 used for mining and they even send me back a 1070.
The seller told you that to scare you and not have to manage a possible RMA.

I bought my GPU in the biggest computer store in the country. They too told me Nvidia could see that the card was used for mining. The seller claimed the Nvidia people could see how many hours a GPU had been running.

Who's to say I wasn't using them for a "legitimate" purpose like folding@home or AI/Machine Learning?

I think it is better to utilize your fan to avoid GPU overheat damage. BTW the fan is quite cheap if you can change it yourself, but you can't change GPU and GPU other electronic components.

Those chips can run at 90°, it is advised to not go >80° so for me 70 is a good MAX temp for 24/7
If I have any issue, I have a 48 hours RMA with EVGA so I dont care.

I don't know, those numbers sound a bit high. You may need to throttle back on the power consumption of these cards a bit more. I have that exact card EVGA 1080Ti SC2 in a rig with 4 others (5 GPU rig) and they all only run around 60° C with the fans speeds only hovering around 40-50%.

They are all doing 800 Sols with a bit less than 140 watts each power draw (750W for the entire rig including system overhead), and operating in a 90° F (32° C) environment, so not unduly cool by any means. Even if I switch to ETH mining, they still are right around the same temps and fan speeds, although power use may creep up slightly.

How the hell are you getting 800 sols on 140w...

MSI Afterburner. Reduce Power Limit (I run ~ 68), un-check the temp link and set the temp to ~85 or so. The cards don't run this hot but this keeps the software from throttling, with a 20+ degree difference between actual and limit there is no throttling. Then increase core clock to 250 or whatever you can before it crashes, and you can leave memory at default or even reduce it slightly as it has little impact on Equihash mining. Also, keeping your cards cool is a must, as I posted above I have a lot of airflow going to and over my cards, so I think that is the main secret as if they start to get hot even in the 70's the cards will start to throttle back and the Sols will begin to drop.

Man those evgas oc really well i have 2 rigs with strix oc and zotac amp extreme and highest i got was +160,my cards don't go over 60c.Whats your cpu i saw few cases where shity cpu caused few % lower sols

Now that you mention it that rig does have an Intel i5 processor as I was going to do other things with it. Not top end, but it is definitely better than a Celeron, although CPU usage seems to be of little importance during mining. But it may have something to do with better access to the PCI lanes or something.

One other thing, that while maybe not related directly to mining performance but sharing for full disclosure, is that I am using a Samsung 960 EVO 256 GB M.2 drive in that rig. I am also running 16 GB of RAM, while I normally only run 4 GB (again I plan to use the rig for other things as well). So while I really think the mining performance is more due to the cards and keeping them cool, it is true that this rig is built to a bit higher quality than is typically found in a standard mining rig.
