Meanwhile - so - new images must mean they actually aren't empty boxes so they can run them and tell people results.
Again, someone must know something of what's going on at BFL - post some info - I'm sure no one signed a non disclosure agreement with BFL regarding their email ...

Here is the latest I have:

Quote from: BFL by email, 2/1/2012
We had moved the final stage of production here from Taiwan so as not to get trapped by the Chinese holiday.  We're still in production and testing.  I would say it's fair to say the Asians do it faster.  Smiley

God damn the chinese new year.

Then why are you here, stepping in ultra-late in the game to white knight it over BFL and sonny?

Seriously guy, you bring nothing to the table that wasn't mentioned fifty times in the previous 130 pages of fucktardery. You are as bad as goat and I...worse maybe, with that high horse you are on.

I'm a pretty mellow guy in real life, and I generally practice good forum etiquette in other communities I'm a part of.   I've been lurking here a long time and have finally created this account to stick it to utter retards such as yourself who find it so hilarious to hang around in threads such as this, offering absolutely zero useful input and just generally being a disgusting, sorry excuse for a human being.

Well fuck you.  You can keep trolling this thread all you like, but now you're also going to have to put up with me trolling you for the foreseeable future, or at least until you grow a brain and start acting like a normal member of society.   Lets see how you like a taste of your own medicine.

Gonna have to try harder than that to troll me, honey.

That is you, in this thread ^

Well that's really useful - you created an account to debase yourself to the level of those you loathe.
Best solution, delete the account and go back to lurking. Seriously.
There has been no useful content in any of your 18 posts in any threads here since you joined ... although your 13th post did attempt to at least sound like you were providing information (but it didn't)
You don't see the problem with acting like those you tell that they shouldn't act that way?

I've read it all.   I know the current state of things, as I also keep in contact with BFL.   What goes on this thread is 1 part actual information, 2 parts technical discussion of FPGA technology, and 7 parts trolling from Randy, DeathandTaxes, Goat, Kano and couple of others.
Why is it everyone who's been in contact with BFL never posts any "actual information"? So if you actually ordered one, when is it due to ship?

Plenty of info has been posted from people who have spoken to BFL.  All the pictures of the boards for example.    If I had an exact ship date, I'd tell you, but I don't.   This week or the next as far as I know.   I'm not about to explode if I don't have an exact ship date so I'm not too worried, as long as I get it sometime in Feb I'll be happy.
So was that what Sonny said?

If you have actually read this thread you will see that there are many people who are interested in these ... not just those willing to risk $600 on something that is currently about 2 months past due and no built final prototype version of it even exists (only the previous one from a while back that had to be redesigned due to the 400% missed guess at the power usage)

So then either wait for people to recieve them, then make your decision based on that, or email the company yourself and ask whatever questions you have!   It's really not that hard.
Yeah same as a few others have already said ...
I take that to mean that it's not good news, that's the usual reason for people now wanting to post information they already know for others to read.

Believe what you want, I couldn't care less.

Yes, NOW they're on their website.  When they were emailed out and posted here, they weren't yet.   Of course you already knew that.

From earlier photos, the PCB fan connector is a 3-pin. This means that either they have monitoring circuitry onboard (one of the pins would be a sense line) for RPM, or the fan RPM might be auto-controlled via a temperature sensor.

Not sure if they updated it in their redesigned build but previously only 2 of the pins had traces to them on the boards.

I do have this picture that I have not seen previously.

Sonny sent it to me. It does appear to use the same type of box but somewhat larger is size.

I have sent him another email tonight. I am getting impatient as my investment is not getting a return.

The exhaust vents on the new enclosure are substantially larger than the original, which is good because the box will heat up as if you had a 60W light bulb in there.

I'm not sure about stackability ... those rubber feet are quite low-profile. If you stack these, it may be difficult for the fan to draw in enough air ... those exhaust vents, though now larger, still present heavy airflow resistance. The box looks like it will have a large positive internal pressure, making it more difficult for the fan to draw air in.

Hell I'll even have to write some code for cgminer soon after these things actually start arriving if anyone wants to use the RPC API (Luke didn't bother to add that so either he's assuming no one is interested in cgminer RPC API access to it or he's just slack Tongue)

Interesting also that those who did quote dates most recently have not said they got theirs on the date they quoted and have not responded about any new expected date.

There are 4 weeks until March.
So if it doesn't arrive before March, will you be changing your tune on the subject?

Anyway, as I said before, hopefully someone will actually get a delivery confirmation and then I guess a few days after that someone may actually have one for real ... and we can find out what the real specs are for these, rather than the original specs that were based on a simulation (yeah they didn't ever admit to that - Sonny just accidentally let everyone know in an email) or the "power failure" prototype specs that supposedly will be less than the current "fixed design".

Also, if you think this thread is 59 pages long, you missed the the lion's share of it.

Try to keep up big man, I said this thread, not this thread plus the other thread.

7 parts trolling from Randy, DeathandTaxes, Goat, Kano and couple of others.

Bahahaha...one of the most helpful, informed, and intelligent participants on this entire forum is branded a troll by some poon with 10 posts.

Pretty clear to see.  Just filter by his posts in this thread, and hey presto.

Agreed, he's usually pretty helpful elsewhere in the forum.  Just not here unfortunately.

Not quite as much of a dick as you, granted, but still.
