Thanks to @efialtis for organizing these tournaments/prizes and also making a third series happen. I know how much headache it was and is for you, but will hopefully get better with some changes for the upcoming series

No problem on this, 5k or 10k stack just bring it on  . You have done so well for this community poker game in the 1st series and also in the 2nd series.


I would say Hhampuz and Ir0n1c but FOMA might stand a chance as well considering how many times he managed to get top position despite having a sloppy start in the early game. I would say myself but it would be so biased to vote for myself. I was just lucky throughout the regular game unlike the others

I got yah, I missed all that was still licking my wounds and sulking over my overall terrible couple weeks at the tables. I'm glad you like the poker Talk, it helps me in general discussing spots with everyone who comes in and is just  a great way to still be engaged.

Don't let the language barrier keep you away. Post some of the terms you don't understand and me or someone else will explain them in simple poker terms. Some of it is just nuanced slang I've been picking up watching hand reviews and poker Youtubers.

I know about the thread, I have one post there. I am preparing entire week for this tournament, and for few hours I will get out to make some barbecue, few drinks here and there, and I will be fully prepared!


I just said it in general, last time before the game it was hot! Like it's some boxing match, you could feel tension, now it's very calm and professional!
As I said you in poker chat I know about your poker threads, I like to read what you wrote there (essays, almost every comment is like a handbook). Foma and you are active there, having so many poker terms I don't understand, I have to check them... Generally you have good analysis of hands, it's interesting to read how competition thinks And with my vocabulary I can't join and have so deep discussions with you guys.


Last week I was 2 in the first game, and 1 in the second game, I can only hope that I am a good winning streak and I will have a good cards to play with. I will play to win, like always! Competition is hard, I think we all deserved to play grand finale, and we will have a very interesting game! Like in all final games, where all players are good, mistakes are ones that count mostly! Making a mistake can cost a lot, so we can expect a tense game, where every move is being carefully calculated!


You had some good games in this series! I wish you a lot of luck in next series! We will play again, and we will fight for those 9 spots!

Maybe, I'll swing by and check the competition a bit more but that is only gonna happen if I am at home and I find a nice little cash game to sit on while spectating.

Even though I had asked SwC to make it 10k stacks, looks like they didn't get to it so we (you!) will have to live with those 5k stacks - please don't be mad at me!

They've been super busy irl if I recall so it makes sense. I'm pretty pumped but have been at work and also began venturing around the forum a little more than I have been in the last few months. If you are looking for more discussion in general on poker and not just the tourney pop over to the thread I post the videos, we have some decent ongoing conversations there.
Personally i'm pumped. Going to be groggy as fuck but I'll manage. i have 8 hours left in my shift and should be able to snag ~41/2 hours sleep beforehand. The wifey is happy with me again so I will be recording tomorrow. I'm pretty sure the App interferes with the recording software in someway which is annoying as I prefer the app to the web interface. Oh the sacrifices I make for you people 
I'll get last weeks up Monday probably at the same time as the Championship

No, no, no. You go out and get yourself sloppy drunk then play from your phone. I can't have some left field plays coming out tomorrow and messing me up, I've only been studying drunk figment plays. I'll just suck out on the good ones.

Last time before the final game we had hot discussions, Efi made a timer... This time it's really quiet, like before some big storm!


Well I just said that for more people we need higher prizes. It's not even my wish, I quoted Arallmuus! I'm fine with this current structure, I believe we play good poker and I will play next series again! I'm for changes if someone suggests something, and we all accept it, as always.

I am thinking about the final game entire week! I can't wait tomorrow and to start playing finally!

i always love deep stacks but it's cool either way. 5k stacks at this structure with a single table is plenty of time.


that may just be the effect of the end of lockdowns, people going back to school and work, summertime weather and vacations.

considering we got a bigger prize pool this time (0.01 BTC ticket added) but a smaller turnout, i think we might be close to the limit. we can't expect SwC to keep throwing more money in. if we were to do higher buy-ins, maybe do a mix of different buy-ins throughout. maybe do a couple at the start of the series and see how it affects turnout.

These type of organizations are very hard to manage, it is really not a one man job, I should know because I have been trying to organize a fifa tournament during this pandemic and I know how many challenges there are to make it happen, it is certainly at least a two man job and it is much better if you have 5 or 500 .

At the end of the day what @efialtis has managed during this pandemic to make people play something so that they wouldn't be bored out of their mind is really something to be held, dude has done it without much help and they has managed to get a lot of people as well, that is the trickiest part of the organization, finding people to play. They didn't just find people, but they also found the best people, you guys are all a bunch of amazing people to be around.

I'm good with 5k chips and with 10k chips, whatever you guys prefer.

And yeah, I thanked you, @efialtis, but I forgot to thank your man, @tyKiwanuka for his altruistic work. Those spreadsheets are amazing, man! Big thanks, @tyKiwanuka!

I have asked SwC to make it 10k chips - let's see if they can do it!

Im cool with any of those option. Whichever works best for the majority of the other 8 I guess


The extra 200 chips would serve as higher extra prizepool. More people means higher prizepool but the problem would be how to get all those new guy to join

10k starting chips would be better! Who doesn't remember last debate can find it in old thread, Yahoo and some others had good arguments why we should have 10k chips!
After all its grand finale, and we should have more chips than in regular games!


I was thinking about this, in my opinion if we wish more players we need higher prize pool! Don't wish to sound ungrateful, but that's a reality. After first series some people quit, we have some new players, but more people left than joined. Of course higher prize pool will help keeping regular players in too!

Efi and Ty are doing an amazing job for all of us here, and a fact is that with more people they will have even more job to do! It's crazy to organize all that and to not get paid anything for that! So it's a question do we want more players or to stay like it is? For more players we need more money, and like before my opinion is unchanged, just two ways to get more money, sponsors of higher buy-in (and we know what that means, it will be too expensive for some people).



Efi will transfer chips directly to you on SwC if you are in top 3! In the same way you transferred him 200 chips for every tournament!

How do you handle the prize pool of each 200 Chips which we collected? What´s the amount in total and will you send it out to the top3 after the final table has finished?
