I prefer holding both of these coins. You never know what is going to happen next and to my mind this should be something like diversification. You know, buying only Ethereum isn't that cool as for me. On a bull run Neo can be pumped firstly, because there is a pressure of ICOs in ethereum. Neo is a must in your portfolio!

NEO had lot of hype going for it in 2017 but Ethereum is likely a safer bet than NEO as it is well-established and universally recognized.
If I chose between these two projects, then most likely I would not choose any of them. None of these projects showed significant growth that would suit me. As an investment object, I have an alternative option - the Etheera project. Token ETA in which I invested four months ago at the moment has brought me about 600 percent of the profits. Given that - I am no longer interested in any top projects.
Although a lot of people from Asia, especially from China are sure that NEO is the market leader, I would recommend you to invest in Ethereum better. It is safer and more reliable.

same here . i will also go on etherium because we all know that etherium has a higher base value than neo . i also agree on the last part of your sentence that both coins were good because both are verry well known . however i also agree on what the op had stated on the first page . neo can pump easily because its not pressured by any other factors .
but we must not forget the all coins are still dependable on btc . whatever happend to btc all alts will also follow . so its also a better idea if we will allocate some funds on btc just to support and also to have a back up as well .

My suggestion always goes for both these coins because both are very active development coins which will help the people to make very good money if you hold them for the long term. Look at the potential of both the ETH and NEO but due to the similarity of their blockchain will help to increase their value.
