a lot of speculation says if someone prefers neo or ethereum, but I think for myself choosing ethereum is a good choice. I chose to continue on ethereum because it has good potential than neo.
for the long term I prefer NEO, because the platform I believe will be good and many will use it for the future, although the costs of deploying NEO smart contracts are expensive
Quite a good achievement, some people certainly managed to make for themselves more favorable working conditions, and the more resources they got for themselves. 
They are both profitable when it come to long term investment. Neo has the possibility to go up first but it can't easily achieve what ethereum achieved last january this year. Ethereum growth might slowed down but it has still the potential to surpass its recent all-time high if bullrun start again. Buying ethereum and neo is a better option because both of them are solid coins that give you good profits.
Instead of separating the two for the investment, an investment seperation can be created for both Ethereum and NEO. Thus, the damage can be reduced to a minimum. Nice projects with both potential

Is is better to hold 2 Ethereum or 15 NEO till 2020?
IMO, NEO can reach $1000 easily this year but its hard for Ethereum to reach $10k till 2020.

2 ethereum is 225*2 = 450 dollars
15 neo is 18*15 = 270 dollars
ethereum is better as oyu despite of its low value
I will go for 15 neo, it's much more easier to get a decent amount from 15 neo, the unit is OK than ethereum, imagine neo at 400$ multiply by 15 units and ethereum at $1000 multiply by 2units there is a clear difference
Probably, it is better to trust ETH. After all, Vitalik Buterin, our compatriot, is behind this cryptocurrency and represents the American system of promotion and quality of the product. But NEO is a Chinese product, about the quality of which everyone has not a very good idea.
I would not judge projects only by nationality of developers. I also think that ethereum is a very promising coin and platform as a whole. But so far I have been many times convinced of the prospects of many Chinese projects.

agree with you. they are two good platform for us. maybe their price fall down just because many ICO owner sold their token

For long term the NEO would be much better than eth, , because NEO will may make the good price when the eth just start to go down, or be on the bottom. Eth already good altcoin and it become a new strong king soon. And like btc it will not be long.
By comparison We can both make a better decision if we wait a little because it is very difficult to predict and decide at the moment.
you can invest on both ethereum and neo because both also good coins, then it price will increase two or three years,so what you expected, you will get on that time so you can go with both coins.
I remain optimistic if 2 ethereum becomes one of the best choices at the moment, we know that neo might not be able to provide significant development. but ethereum has given a good development and profit for the owners.
According to my investment, Ethereum has more advantages because it is based on other currencies. NEO in China is harder to work with because of the ban and the downward trend.
I also think like that. because I believe that later ethereum will experience a very large and profitable price increase if used as a long term than NEO 
The future of ETH is very long and so is NEO. In my opinion, both options are good and 2020 is not too long to prolong the difference of two coins. They will increase proportionally.

But NEO doesn't have such restrictions: you can get GAS even if you have 1 NEO in your wallet.

NEO has a very large potential and I also believe that it will grow to $ 1000 by 2020, but now the price of ETH is very attractive so I think that it is also worth buying !
