i think 2016 will be a good year for bitcoin use and worldwide adoption, news coverage already increasing and many people using BTC and increased places actually accepting it.
Year 2016 has good potential IMO, Bitcoin already begun becoming a mainstream thing and news coverage is increasing even more right now... BTC is one of the new big things in technological field.
Along with the news coverage and mainstream adoptions, there is a big event within bitcoin ecosystem called halving.
The rewards of every block is going to get half. When the supplay getting reduced, it would take the value of bitcoin into moon. So, 2016 is going to be 'year of bitcoin'.
IMO, every year is 'year of Bitcoin'.
I dont like to be the pessimist but we are getting back slowly to the value were bitcoin were stable before the halving news and projected time to happen.

I think every year is the triumph of bitcoin. Because every year despite bitcoin prices up and down but tends to increase.Bitcoin heyday peak may be coming 2-5 years, we wait how bitcoin future.
I didn't see many interestung things happen in 2016, rather many negative things. I hope we won't see more negativity, bitcoin might be the honey badger of money but I'm sure it'd do better with a mediocre year rather than with more negative events.

yup in this we gonna see a big pump price range in bitcoin due to halving and many adaption.
remarkable adaption bitcoin is now hollywood. these kind of adaption will make big change in price chart. Hope for the best and good luck personally man.

The bear market has lasted long enough. I predict 2016 is the year where bitcoin finally breaks through, both in price and in mainstream adoption.
The fork issue is a distraction. It won't kill bitcoin. The majority will eventually choose what fork they want to use, whether it is the original, or XT, or some third option.
I see the fork issue as silly infighting which only hurts bitcoin. I want bitcoin to succeed, that's what I care about, not what version of BTC I use. I will go with the majority, whichever fork is chosen.

Fact is that we opened new year with 400 $, so that means something? Its double then last year. I hope this year will be better then last and if we see around 1000 $ at the end it will be success. That means only way is up, steady and safe.

Lets be clear at one point bitcoin double the price from the last year to this one because halving,soo i believe we are out of the current value of it being around 300 dolalrs soo we are getting back to it,sure till end the year we may see bitcoin at 600 atleast i believe it will go up along the months.

yes dude agree..i think if bitcoin getting very low price its mean it will be rising up higher soon..just like a ball when we try to bouncing a ball down in the floor it will be bouncing back up higher..im sure bitcoin will rise soon

Well the rise is not needed. Just getting mass adoption would make bitcoin a succes.
Changing the financial system for decades to come.
This would be a dream come true for me.
No more banks, no more high fees, but more freedom and more speed.
