2016 became the year bitcoin. bitcoin is widely known and now bitcoin will continue to be used. in 2017 bitcoin will be better than in 2016.
Wait a minute... what year is it again 
Bitcoin's success isn't tied to a certain year. Every year so far has been the year of Bitcoin as it has been growing constantly.
Bitcoin wasn't at its best in last year but it has started to grow now in this year and we expect the same in coming years and halving will help us to see best price of bitcoin.
By summer we will have the Softfork into Segwit accepted, First Lightning Network implementations out on the wild, Halving...oh my.

Why 2017, when 2016 is showing so much good activity. A nice price at this moment, when the financial markets are looking for new investing oppertunities. Things are looking very good at this moment.

Quite possible.With halving around the corner,2017 may offer great advantages to bitcoin and we can see new level of bitcoin priceThat we will see by the end of this year, but not sure where bitcoin will land in the next year as anything is possible with bitcoin and thinking too long will be the waste of the time.

I thought 2016 was the year of bitcoin.
I think the bitcoin will be good this year and not in 2017 plus what others are already saying its to early to talk about 2017 in my eyes they are right about that fact to be honest.
Its too long to think of 2017 as I feel that this will be the best year for bitcoin because of upcoming events taking place in next couple of months which will help bitcoin to shine more in future.
The bitcoin is unpredictable and no one knows what is gonna happen or if there are upcoming events in that year that will make it a bitcoin year..

I think the bitcoin will be good this year and not in 2017 plus what others are already saying its to early to talk about 2017 in my eyes they are right about that fact to be honest.

A lot of things might still happen, before 2017. I am predicting a slight increase in price, between $500 and $600 around the Halving and then a strong decrease as people reach the selling point and the
supply increase on the exchanges. Going into 2017 we will see a decline in price again, because most people would be concentrating on their holidays and festive spending. I hope by then that the
OpenBazaar concept would have gained some momentum and that it would boost the Bitcoin economy.

I prefer to see more about the near future so i think that also 2016 is a good year for the bitcoin as the price starting from this week is keeping increasing and this is a good thing, and i hope the price will get much higher before and after the halving.
