Nobody knows, but looking from the price, now the price of bitcoin is keep increase from yesterday. I think it's because halving. and maybe 2017 will be the year of bitcoin.

if it is in line with expectation, and halving actually occurred in late 2016, then in 2017 will truly be the year of bitcoin.
users of bitcoin will become millionaires and ordinary people will invest the money they have into bitcoin. I hope it really happens

I am still thinking 2016 is the year of Bitcoin Grin

However, Bitcoin price and adoption rises constantly and the price stability reaches a level I have not seen since I am into Bitcoin (since 2011). It is getting more and more clear that currencies like Bitcoin belong the future and therefore the next years (probably decades) will belong to Bitcoin and other crypto currencies.

Every year has been dubbed the year of Bitcoin, but I think 2017 is more or likely the proper and correct prediction since we'll just be coming out of the halving and this could have profound effects on the people willing to accept Bitcoin due to the value differences.
