I don't understand why you are not considering 2015 a year for bitcoin. If you only observe that price during 2014m you will notice an increase in price, adoption and area of influence of bitcoin in the year 2015. And now that 2016 is about to end in another 2 months, you can clearly state that bitcoin have gain a hunge appreciation during this year. So as bitcoin supporter and enthusiast, I think it will be another year of the bitcoin this coming 2017.

Exactly nobody knows what can happen in bitcoins that is why lets just go with the flow so if there are a lot of things to consider for making bitcoin a great year for this year. Then so be it, but expect more to come because of its decentralization that is going to be able to make it a lot more in the future so let's just wait for it.

Absolutely. No one can ever predict what will happen on the price of bitcoin. It is unpredictable. All we can do to have a good future with bitcoin is to work hard for it. Have a good strategy on earning bitcoins and just be focus in it. Then we do not need to rely on the price of its price and need not to worry about it.

Well, that depends on your criteria on how to determine a year for bitcoin, because if you will ask me and we are living in this present time I would say that for me 2016 is already a year of bitcoin for me because I am profitable this year because bitcoin is profitable. I receive so much blessing with my investment and my earning as a worker online.

Do you really think that the years 2015 and 2016 was never good for bitcoin? Can you tell me what the price was at the end of 2014? And what it was at the end of 2015? And you can see what it is right now. And you should also see the factors of users database, adoption level and many more things, the thing is you are wishing that bitcoins increases 100% every year which is simply not possible.

The year of Bitcoin will be somewhere close to the end of the halving rewards, something like 2120. That will likely be the peak of Bitcoin if everything was to keep on growing in a linear fashion, but we'd have to see because as we all know nothing lasts forever.

Every new year would be a year of bitcoin hence its still existing , we are refering to the price though when we said that it might be this year but we wont know on what would be the price of 2017 but for sure it would be more than compared to this years prices.

Yes and even this year was good for bitcoin in fact it was very exciting year as we saw the price of $780 after a long time and if there would be no bitfinex hack then we would be sitting at much higher level by now.

Yeah if bitfinex is not happen before we are in good price level of bitcoin.. 2017 many promises that i heard by someone here and i hope that it will happen soon that the price will reach again back to 700 value or more..

It's more easy to another "hack" occour than a "good news" to increase the price... Price wil stay the same and next year someone will create a thread like "2018, the year of bitcoin" and that will happen every year lol
People are just creating threads like this trying to make a lot of people hold to keep the price ~

in 2017 I think that the price will go up to $800 but I don't expect too much like 1k or 2k but whatever can happen because it is bitcoin.

I doubt that bitcoin will loose the power its getting now, the megaupload project is being funded, and a huge speculation is being around those big project. I do believe as soon the projects goes live we will see an increase into the demand that should result into something like 20-40% up into the price.
