Well, the last quarter of last year up to this point has been a good accumulation time for me. The thing is, for people that are shorting, it's quite difficult to position themselves both for entry and exit. For investors and long term holders of course this is a very good time.

It's not every year that you can make a lot of profit but it can happen in a few years. I believe that 2017 made a lot of people become very impatient and they thought crypto is always an easy cash-out everytime they buy some coins. Crypto is still a good investment and it takes time for profiting.

For most investors, I think that I choose to continue to hold the altcoin in my hand and wait patiently for the opportunity.

If you have a good looks regarding to your supported assets holding is the best options, crypto currency will surprise each holders who will be able to overcome fears with this current situation, people who continue to believe that bounce back will happen and it will bring huge outcome will surely succeed in this journey.

We just need to add more patience and keep treating this as an investment assets that will generate big profits.

Perhaps you are right, cause during 2018, most of all altcoins including bitcoin itself facing such hard fall. And i can't sell all the coins that i had, cause i will suffer a big loss if i sell them, so i choose to keep them and makes the investment a bit longer until the market get better.

When market is down, it will not allow you to sell, otherwise you'll not profit.

So far, market is still in red, not only 2018 but it has continued in 2019 and although we are expecting a recovery but
we never know when it will take place. It's hard for all of us since this long period of drought could kill our faith or hope for the future
but we need to diverse our attention, instead of thinking of selling, we should look at the opportunity now, which is to buy or invest.

this condition really test our emotion , mental and psychology.and also maybe cryptocurrency market now selecting investors that could survive in bearish market and weak hand investors.and if we expand our investment i think that will good choice , current price has low level now and also has less risk.

I do agree. 2018 had been a dreadful year. A year that every crypto enthusiasts experienced everything unpleasant: bearish market; a decline in initial coin offerings; increased regulation; scammed bounties; etc. However for some, it was a year for enhancing their portfolio. Many of my friends took advantage of the bear market and bought some of the popular cryptocurrencies - hoping that this year will be much different. It was their response to some crypto analysts prediction that "2019 will be the turning point for digital currencies. A clearer regulation, will converge to drive mass adoption of cryptocurrencies that will provide significant benefits for all stakeholders and potential investors".
They maybe wrong or they maybe right, who knows? One thing is for sure - there's always hope.

I think 2019 will be much more appropriate for investments rather than 2018. It's pity, but the community isn't mature enough to understand the necessity and importance of a sowing period for the market. The truth is you will never get a really good gain without a thorough preparation of investment strategy and correct entry points.

I also think that 2018 was a year of investment, and all the players who could profitably buy the most promising coins to the maximum hold them.
After the recovery of the cryptocurrency market, which I hope will come in the middle of 2019 and all the coins will go up in price, it will be possible to get a well-deserved result.

2018 is not a year in which the price goes up. That is for sure. But making profit doesn't require prices to go up. At least for seasoned and experienced traders, who can short an asset in a heartbeat.
I agree that long-term investing didn't score much profits in 2018.
And yes, it is a great time to invest now, even in early 2019.

I disagree with you. Many traders earned very good money for the whole of 2018. Investors just the opposite could not recapture most of their investments, but this does not mean that they will not succeed in the future.
