I never thought the 76ers could lose this bad. They never won a single quarter against the Heat. I am waiting for that long run but they are always broken by the Heat's defense. I bet Embiid is now thinking about forcing to play in Game 3 because if they lose again, we know the history of 3-0 games.
Here is an update about his injury.
They cannot do anything when all the Miami star players are healthy and it's a big disadvantage for them that they need to rest Embiid due to an unexpected injury which is the worst thing to have in the NBA playoffs. Looks like he gonna join Jokic fishing soon if they lose 3 straight games in the NBA playoffs. It's really hard to survive the NBA playoffs with only one Star player and you don't have enough role players to help you execute a good play to win, Harden seems unhappy in this kind of situation.
Exactly. Then there's Victor Oladipo who is being given more minutes and showing why he was an ex-superstar. His game is starting to come back and the Heat became tougher to defeat. A sweep may definitely happen if Embiid won't return, not that I am underestimating the 76ers. It's just too much for them to handle.
Harden will certainly be unhappy about it, jumping from one team to another and all of them fails to achieve the goal that he wanted so badly in his whole career.

Heat and Suns had a great night and have made their series 2-0 now. Heat beat Sixers by 119-103 again and this is quite alarming for Sixers now. Of course they would still stay focused as Heat haven't got 3-0 ahead yet. But I hope that Embiid returns by the next game and they can start fighting much better against Heat. Sixers are going to have two home games consecutively now and they can make it 2-2 if Embiid is able to play in those. And for the Suns - Mavericks game, the result didn't surprise me. Suns have just an awesome team play but it isn't the same for Mavericks. Doncic is trying to carry the team by himself and he scored 35 points in this one.

Just wanted to add something. Luka keeps talking to the ref and asking for some calls each time he attempts the shots.

Not blaming him if he feels something, but he should not dwell with it and try to focus on the game, if he continues to disappoint himself
it will not be good for the rest of the Mavs, playing against solid squad, both sides are very competitive, the very beauty of Suns as they
continue to be established that types of game where everyone is involved and not just focus on their stars.

Zion Williamson came out today and said he was cleared to play and could have suited up in the Pelicans last game. He said his plan was to wait until game 7 to return so he could help them get to the next round and surprise everyone. Seems like a pretty juvenile plan that didn’t work out for him. Not to mention his teammates have to be pissed off that he could have helped them in game 6, but wanted to come back in dramatic fashion to be the hero that got them to the next round. Hopefully he can stay healthy this off-season so we can see him play again. He was exciting to watch, but I don’t think his career will be a long one.
And hopefully he could trim that weight to avoid more complications in his body specially the lower part. If he was there, there's a good chance they might end up in Game 7 but I doubt the Suns will just give it up, it will also be the time Booker will be at full health without minute restrictions.

Not much of an entertaining games today as both didn't end in a close game. 76ers blownout and so is the Mavericks. Could not feel the 2nd round in this teams unlike the other pair. Warriors vs Grizzlies. I am always looking forward to their games in a close match banging at each other to get a score.  Cheesy The real intensity of a playoff game.

Homecourt advantage gives both winning teams a great confidence by beating their rival teams.

It was a close one with Mavs and Suns before the last quarter, but when CP3 start to attack that the time the separation
happened, almost perfect for Paul, and when he got rested, it's Booker who makes those 3's no more answer with the Mavs
Luka can't handle the aggressiveness of the defenders who's protecting him.

CP3 was really the game changer, that's what people call him "POINT GOD" because of his extreme talent being a point guard. Suns are moving the ball very well, everyone is playing defense and contribute on the offensive side as well, and it seems like Booker is fully healthy now.

How about Dillion Brooks? What's the update about him? is he suspended for at least one game due to the flagrant foul he committed against GPII?
I like to know his status before putting a bet in game 3, though Memhpis won game 3 without him, but I still think Brooks is a big loss to the Memphis if he will be suspended.

"He looked good as far as talking," Rivers told reporters of a FaceTime conversation with Embiid. "But he's got so many steps to go through. I don't think he's cleared any of them right now. We'll just have to wait and see."

Rivers' update arrived after Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes reported during the game for TNT that Embiid was having difficulty looking at his phone's screen as recently at Monday.

I heard some suggestions to make him wear a mask but it may not help if it's the sight that's having a problem.

They already have a great achievement this playoffs, from a rookie coach, that's aleady outstanding. Zion is good, but he is prone to injury, so he should be careful and make sure that he will be able to play in the playoffs next season, this team is exciting to watch with Zion.

Huge second half performance from Booker and CP3 sealed the win for the Suns. It was really fun witnessing a 37-year old Paul taking over at the fourth quarter and turned a close game into an easy looking victory. I really hope this guy gets a ring too.

~

No surprise that the Sixers lost again without Embiid. Such a shame…
Yeah, Adebayo is taking advantage of Embiid's absence and rightly so.

However, the Sixers should also fix their outside shooting because it's horrible so far in this series. Should Embiid fail to play in game 3 and they can't knock most of those shots, it's over for them.

Even though the odds are clear that Phoenix Suns have the advantage in their series against Dallas Mavericks, my strong will for Dallas Mavericks to win the series doesn't change. Luka Doncic is playing on the highest level and what he needs is a boost from his teammates. I'm looking forward that those Mavericks guys who stepped up against the Utah Jazz in the first round of the Playoffs, turning the team's status from underdog to favorites, will play at their best in this series.

A cool and a nice win from the Phoenix Suns' home is a good advantage before returning to their home crowd on Game 3. I hope they will get a win.

Looks like they’re going to get the win. This has been an extremely physical game. Not really what you want to see with injuries being such a huge factor in playoff basketball. The Mavericks seem frustrated with how the second half went. This is the sort of thing that can weigh on a team going forward. We’ll see how they bounce back next game.

No surprise that the Sixers lost again without Embiid. Such a shame…

I really doubt that GP2 would be the decision maker for this series. I mean he is not a bad player at all, I do not deny that but I really doubt that a team like Warriors were looking at GP2 to win a whole series. They will have a bit of a hard time stopping Ja Morant that is for sure but not like he stopped him before this game neither, he kept him at 34 points, that's not really keeping at all.

They just need to do a bit of defensive adjustments and they will be doing fine. That is of course what I believe will happen. Maybe they will lose and Ja will send them home, who knows? I just do not think that it will be because of GP2 and will be some other reason.

Warriors maybe bother how physical the Grizzlies is on game 2 so maybe they are just bit caught at that time because they are not fully prepared on actions made by some other players but as we know how Warriors adjust after the game ends for sure they have proper game plan on how they can counter them on game 3 as well how they can defensively stop Morant on their next game.

Game 3 is good to watch so I guess will place my bet for Warriors this time.

Gary Payton II is not considered a decision-maker for the Golden State Warriors but his defensive style shown in the season is a big factor now that they are against one of the best offensive teams in the Western Conference, the Memphis Grizzlies. With his absence, instead of others doing their respective role, they now have another task to cover the role of Payton II.

The Golden State Warriors are not the same team we saw during their prime that's why they need all the help they can get from their players, from starters to their bench. Grizzlies is a team that any team won't go easy that's why it's a big loss that Payton II got sidelined because of that unnecessary foul.

I don't think he could have made a big difference to the series if he played but he should have still kept his mouth shut on this one. It's not only his teammates that's going to be pissed but the fans who supported him. The coach  would probaby let him sit most of the game anyway.

It looks like that Boston Celtics aren't going to give up against Milwaukee Bucks easily. They won the second match last night and made the score of the series 1-1. I'm still going to be favouring Milwaukee Bucks to beat their opponent in this series. The Giannis factor is of big importance for them. He has carried his team superbly so far. And unless he is injured, they would go on strongly. But Boston Celtics can at least compete well with them here.

The Bucks performed very poorly in this match as Giannis only scored 2 out of 12 shots in the first half, and the Bucks' defense was also ineffective because they allowed Brown to score 25 points in the first half, including 17 points in the first quarter. It seems to me these moments were the main reason why the Bucks lost this game. To be honest, I think the Celtics will be able to win this series if they find a way to stop Giannis in the upcoming games.

Don't know if all of that talk is true.  Think the pels even came out well before that and said he isn't gonna play.  It's in the long term interest of the team to get him 100% and not throw him into what would have been physical hell.   Game conditioning especially for a big boy like him would take awhile.  Why kill his physche and set him up to fail on a big stage.

If the injuries keep coming I think it's a looming stuff for a career to end, we can't blame him for that but he should work out on it since he's still at a young age. He's likely still battling in his youth to come up with that juvenile plan, he should have pushed through if he has the sense of helping his team, not his fault I guess if the physicians who's on him tells it's not yet time, but he knows more of his body than anybody else.
