Bucks is so unstoppable in 3 point area or we can say on overall aspects they really dominate Celtics this time so I guess this will be tough road for celtics knowing Bucks don't have middleton on the line up and how much more if he is there for sure this one will be a huge problem to them.
They have a low percentage in game 1, Jalen Brown which was a big contributor of the team was very much limited in game 1, that is because of the good defense by the Bucks.. Of course, the Bucks will continue the same strategy, Celtics just need to improve their outside shooting.
Yes. I never saw the Bucks played this hard against the Bulls series but now they shifted to a defensive team and it's way better. Boston Celtics will be in big trouble if they will not find any answer for their attacks.
Despite that, I saw players in their team stepping up their game. Horford specifically did a pretty well job managing Giannis to avoid scoring at the paint, but the reaction from his team mates should be fast whenever he will be forced to pass the ball. The three point line were left wide open because of the penetration. I say let Horford handle him one on one and if ever Giannis scores, just live with it and get it back on the offensive end.

The problem with Celtics is their turnovers and force shots if they maintain this on game 2 for sure they struggle to win on Bucks.
They have turnovers because of the great defense by the Bucks, they clogged the paint and they control the rebound.

Game 1 was a must win for the Grizzlies for me to have a good chance of staying in the series because they can still utilize the element of surprise. Kerr and GSW veteran's playoff experience will manifest more and more as they head to the next games. Morant and the rest of his team can count on grit/fighting spirit I doubt that will be enough to advance to the next round.

Warriors are not happy with Green's ejection, for me, it doesn't look like an F2 or even a flagrant foul. We know Draymond's reputation but that was a soft foul based on my evaluation, but the refs see otherwise, so this conspiracy theory will come out now again.  Sad

Anyway, Warriors still win, and that's what matters.
I hope they'll sweep this Memphis team. KIDDING!

Many fans got dismay on what referee's decision about Green's ejection and for me its regular foul. But that's blessing in disguise to them because they really create good gameplay decisions when Green is out of their rotation and this is truly impressive win to them.

The Bucks played great, the plan was successful to use Giannis and absorb all the defenders to leave an open shooter and Grayson Allen mostly took the credit. 24/13/12 for Giannis. Greatness.

Its only Game 1 and many things can still happen throughout the series. We already saw Timberwolves stealing one on the road and yet they still lost 4-2.
I agree though that the experience of the Warriors will be their advantage against this young but talented Grizzlies team. Almost of them especially the core players has experience already in playoffs. I still believe though that the Grizzlies will make an adjustment and they might steal one on the road as well.
Yes you are right, however, Warriors ain't no Timberwolves, it's a different situation as the Warriors are the favorite to win this series compared to the round one of Memphis vs Minnesota where Memphis was the favorite to win.

You cannot give the Warriors a chance as they can sweep a team.

With regards to the ejection of Green, the referees are very soft that they called that a flagrant 2. Its playoffs and yet they still are that soft to the point that something like that is already a flagrant 2. Overall, I just hope that in the next games they will not be like that because its the playoffs and physicality will always be there because of their competitiveness. I don't think Kendrick Perkin's broomstick will not be used here (if you are watching in ESPN Cheesy) though there is a chance that it might happen. It already happened in the Nets-Celtics game but the chances of it to happen is very low Cheesy.

I think it should be investigated, they are just humans, we get that but still the call is very controversial.

F1 was the suggestion of commentators and they think that's the best they could give but I was shocked it went further to F2, I guess the crowd also helped by chanting to throw him out.  Grin I agree with the call though as I watched it replayed over and over, F1 for the hit in the face and another 1 to grabbing the jersey which is intentional and could lead to harm to other players. But it's Draymond, I think he can handle those types of decisions with no hard feelings. He is used to it and even went out teasing the crowd to hate him more.  Cheesy

~ They shouldn't be giving that many offensive rebounds again.
Yeah this was really the killer towards the end of the game. You cannot give a team like GSW a lot of second chances.

It's very competitive game, you really don't know who will win if you have watch the game. The Warriors established a good lead at the beginning of the 4th. But the Grizzlies rally back take a 2 point lead, and then Klay Thompson hitting a 3. One thing though I noticed is that the referee is indecisive, they have to go to jumpballs in the crucial minute because they don't know who the ball should belong. NBA should look into this, as this can spell disaster for either team specially how close the game was.

I’m seeing a lot of complaints about the way the refs “decided the game” but I think you made the most relevant point that it was the rules that kept them from reviewing the out of bounds play forcing them to do the jump ball. I didn’t see anything else that would have people crying about the game being fixed. I think it was just an unfortunate series of events at a crucial point in a close game. I am usually against stopping the game to review a call, but in this case it was a pretty important moment and should have been looked at. It was clear the refs had no idea.

As others have said, it's the "breaks of the game", and as far as I can remember, Memphis got one when the jump ball was held in the center, the Warriors should have gotten the ball though for me after the review. Refs are looking at each other, Lol, sign that they don't know what the right call is. They should put someone more experience refs at least 1 to review and then make the final call.

Nevertheless, Ja Morant has all the momentum to make that shot, prior the the final seconds, but Curry block it. So it was a razor and very close win by the GSW. I guess having 3 of the best shooters is really a plus for them.

Despite his young age, Ja Morant plays very well, but he didn't use the last ball well. Memphis lost at home and the home advantage is gone. Draymond Green was absent in the second half for flagrant number two, but Klay Thompson scored in the right place in last quarter.
I think this series will be very long. Memphis will not give up the second game no matter what. They shouldn't be giving that many offensive rebounds again.

I kinda like Ja Morant for being a very explosive PG and is unstoppable once he caught his momentum. However, I also got disappointed how he's acting so disrespectful against the Timberwolves. Well, I guess that's being part of the game, but I don't think they'll get passed against the GSW.
The Warriors are on a mission this year, and they have a huge chance to be back at the Finals again after years of silence because of injuries.

Impressive win by the Milwaukee Bucks. I'm with this team to win the series against the Boston Celtics but I thought this Game 1 will be an adjustment game playing without Khris Middleton and the Boston Celtics might take the Game 1 win then eventually Bucks will move forward for more wins.

Yes, I never thought that the Bucks will play very well on the road against the Celtics. It was indeed a impressive win, Giannis had another good game, triple double against the defense of Boston.

Another intense match is the Game 1 between Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies. Didn't able to watch the game because it was too early here but I will definitely watch the replay later of what on the world happened that the score is very close. Clearly a competitive game.

The most enjoyable game of the night was Grizzlies - Warriors to me. It proved that this series would go on very competitively. After a really fierce competition in this game, Grizzlies lost by only one point, 116-117. Morant and Jackson were the most impressive players for Grizzlies but it must be a big disappointment for them to lose the game this close. Poole and Curry were the most impressive ones for Warriors. Poole has been a very attention getting player for a long time by the way. He has been scoring many points for some time. His role in the success of his team is not small now.

Yeah, Jordan Poole had a great performance, and Klay Thompson decided the outcome of this game as he was able to score the decisive 3-point shot giving the Warriors the lead with 36 seconds left in the fourth quarter. So it really was an intense game, but we should keep in mind that the result of the first game doesn't mean anything yet, and I'm pretty sure the Grizzlies won't just give up.

Without Embiid I do not think that there is any chance that Sixers will win, but at the same time I am very sad for Harden who believed that he finally got the players he needed around him to have a chance to win the title only for it to taken away with a injury that happened when their win was already secured, such a big disappointment.

Miami will definitely be in ECF for sure, there is no doubt about that. Let's see what happens though, if it takes too quick, like a sweep then it would be better and they can rest, if not then they will be facing a very tough opponent next round whoever comes, they need to end this very quickly if they can.
Even Embiid is playing, I will not pick the 76ers to win in this series against the Miami Heat.
He will not play in the first 2 games but "could" return in Games 3 & 4. Take note of the word "could" because there is a chance that he might not come back as well depending on the results of the test in his injury. Hope he can come back soon though.

Now is the time for Harden and others to step up especially in their offense. They lose a player who can give you 25+ point double-double in every game. They can play small ball with Harden as their point guard but losing a big like Embiid is really a hit for the team. They don't have a reliable second big which I already said right after the Nets-Sixers trade. With a healthy Embiid, I'll go with Heat in 7 still but without him in some of the games I think this will end in 5 games or 6.

I'm quite contented with watching the Memphis Grizzlies - Golden State Warriors game tonight. It was such a competitive game above all else and the last moments were very exciting. Warriors managed to keep their advantage and won like 117-116. I hope the rest of the games in this series can be this much exciting as well. Maybe Grizzlies wouldn't make it to the conference finals but they can still cause big difficulties for Warriors here.

Low scoring game for Bucks and Celtics

....
But yeah to see the Bucks being underdogs and not being taken seriously is wierd.
One of their key players is out and they are facing a complete team that swept the Nets so I don't really see that as weird.

It seems they are still the underdog for game 2 even if they won game 1. Opening lines at 2.40 looks like a good time to place bigger bets if you're a Bucks fan.

Bucks started the series by a decent win like 101-89. Giannis made a delightful triple-double and Holiday also contributed to the team great by scoring 25 points. They have the psychological predominance now against Celtics. And we are in the second quarter in the Grizzlies - Warriors game at the moment. Grizzlies had a really good start to the game and they are ahead for now. But Warriors are a really difficult opponent for them so things can change if they lose their focus. Whichever team win this, they will capture a good advantage.
