^Now here comes a big obstacle for the Warriors. Gary Payton II is injured.
Ja Morant scored 34 points in Game 1 thanks to GP2's defensive plays. Now, he made 47 points without him. Time for Wiggins to step up, he is one of the elite defenders of the league and was even crowned as an All-Star first five. Somehow, he needs to show that and stop Morant from being an offensive machine.
Wiggins did well today at protecting the board but he might be switched to protecting the outside and let Draymond take over with the paint.

Ja Morant possesses the worm moves with dribbling skills which hard for them to stop him unless they want to hurt him in a physical way. Looks like they gonna be needing a double team to defense to stop him in game 4 or else the Memphis Grizzlies will lead the series and they might not get any win after that.

As for the Boston last night, they already find the right way to stop Giannis and take advantage of the situation, that's why they easily outrun them in the first half which was their main goal and play safely in the second half later.

Put your bets brothers, this could become a sweep if the Warriors and the Bucks will win again.  Cheesy
The Celtics may have done great against the Nets but this is a different story versus the Bucks. They are known as one of the best in defensive plays so even without Middleton they could win it.

Don't underestimate the Celtics they too are a good defensive team. We all know they can't Giannis, but with a consistent and efficient shooting they can actually win the series. Game 2 was the best example of it. Celtics actually have a good chance to beat the Bucks here, nevertheless this is going to be a good match up. Who ever wins between these 2 deserves to be in the finals.
Celtics in 7 Cheesy.
Its only my prediction though and I agree that lets not underestimate the Celtics just because they are against the defending champions. They had a better offense right now in Game 2 compare in Game 1. Celtics had a good start, took the lead and never came back. If Tatum and  Brown continues to play like this all throughout the series, they will defeat the Celtics. Middleton will not play this series as well so that's a disadvantage already however, I don't know if Smart will play in this series. If somebody knows then please share it Smiley.

The Warriors too, Grizzlies may have taken a higher seed but we know the Warriors as one of the formidable teams when it comes to playoffs time. They may have been rusty but they are back with a newly acquired deep bench that helped them pave the way to the playoffs.

I was really hoping for the GSW to sweep the Memphis but they even up the series. Now, they're back at home, hope they'll win the 2 upcoming games and finish it on the road.
The top 3 scorers of Warriors had a bad night shooting below 50% except Poole who has exact 50% but overall, its unacceptable so I will just say that its either they have a bad night or the defense of the Grizzlies is just too much on this game.

Hope for GP2 to recover quickly from his injury though because he is a big addition to the team defensively. I thought that the Warriors will take both games on the road but its good that it isn't so... lets expect a good series between the 2 but I'll go with Warriors in 6-7 games.

Tyler Herro deserved this award, his performance was really good. He averaged 5 rebounds, 4 assists and over 20 points. He's been a very valuable addition to the team and has done some pretty good work for the Miami Heat.
Congratulations, he won a really nice award and he was one of the most deserving players for this award. Kevin Love had a chance too, but he didn't win Smiley

Congratulations to Tyler Herro of the Miami Heat. Our 2022 NBA Kia Sixth man of the Year. A landslide vote of 96 out of 100.
https://www.nba.com/news/2021-22-kia-sixth-man-of-the-year
First player to win it for the Miami Heat.  Shocked He deserves it by stepping up his game, truly "I'm a bucket."

The Celtics adjust quite well from their bad performance on Game 1. They are now shooting the ball at a high percentage especially Jaylen Brown who ended with 30 points and smoking in the distance shots. This series will be more entertaining if the Bucks will answer back with their own adjustments in Game 3.

Yeah, I wasn't able to bet on Herro on outright as Sixth Man of the Year, the odds are not that good.

No surprised that the Celtics did a lot of adjustment in the second game. Maybe they have watch the tape over and over again and motivate themselves to bring the table back to the Bucks. But the problem is that they are going to play on the road and it will be tough for them against Giannis at their home court.

Well I think the product of the sixers loss is mainly attributed to embid going down.  That completely changes the game both on defense and offense.  Bam doesn't completely go off if embid is in there.  And conversely embid would draw a ton of fouls against the heat.  More points and more possible bench time for some heat starters.  Regardless I agree with your assesment of Miami, they look real good as a team.

It looks like coach Spo understands the weaknesses of the 76ers, given that the Heat was able to successfully dominate the paint during the first game of the series. By the way, there is still no specific date for Embiid's return, although Doc Rivers said that Embiid is already feeling better. So I expect he might be able to play in either game 3 or 4, and he most likely will be allowed to play only in a protective mask.

I cannot say they are bit rusty but rather I think they are well prepared now and all of them are much healthier now compare to last season where they totally got wrecked by serious injury. Now they are back complete with good back ups so for this their chances to finals is so huge and hopefully they will not choked and be the finals champion this season.

Honestly I did not expected Warriors game to be that close but aside from that Bucks winning was a good game as well to watch, the other two was already known Suns was a better team than Mavs to begin with and Heat will easily beat Sixers without Embiid.

It is going to be a good and long series between Bucks and Celtics, but aside from that I am expecting the other three series to be easier. Funny to see easier series in the second round than see on the first round. Lets see how it will fair out but wagering on Suns and Heat shouldn't be really a big problem, even if they lose any you could end up doing martingale and end up getting that back for sure.

What a good team the Miami Heats are, Philadelphia is still a collection of stars, following this path they have 0 chances of fighting for the title.

Phoenix Suns are also a great team and Dallas is a gathering of wills and a plea for Luka to have a huge game to win. 0 chances to win if they continue like this

He even went iso on Javale and guess what, Javale stole the ball from him resulting in a monster dunk and the whole bench of Phoenix is very happy and proud of McGee.
That's the main highlight of the game.  Grin No more Shaqtin-a-fool.
If the Mavs ever want to win this game 2 they will need perfection at every play they will make because the Suns have an ace in their sleeve which is giving the ball to Ayton and have an easy 2.

Game 2 later. Adjustments will probably happen and the Celtics might do better against the Bucks and so does the Grizzlies which are close to stealing a game in Warriors turf in Game 1 if not for a defensive maneuver by Klay Thompson.
I won't go for high handicaps for Warriors, just moneyline and +5 for the Bucks.

Suns and Heat started their series really nicely last night. Suns beat Mavericks 121-114 and Heat beat Sixers 106-92. None of them had a big difficulty in beating their opponents in the first leg and this must be feeling great for them. Actually I can say that Suns - Mavericks was more challenging but Suns still managed to win by a good team play. For Mavericks, Doncic played incredibly awesome. He had 45 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. He was the usual Doncic but they still couldn't win. And the reason why Sixers struggled was Embiid's absence due to his injury of course.

I think it was not an easy match for the Suns and the Heat.

And the start of the 3rd quarter, the Sixers was in front by at least 5 points if I'm not mistaken. The Heat only dominated after that with Herro outside shooting and good defense.

While the Suns took a good lead and seems to be comfortable with a double digit lead, the Mavs suddenly went on a run and close the gap in the last minute of the game. Yes, Luka is big in this game but he has also committed a lot of turn over.

Luka's numbers still nothing if the team loses the game. It's tough to beat a well-organized squad who understands the system well.

Though it's only the first game and adjustments can be done, both Sixers and Mavs will try to find good answers to how their opponents play

the game. Home court advantage is also a plus here, players are being boosted with the loud cheers by the fans, maybe 2-0 and the losing team

will try to bounce once the game switch places.

Suns dominated the Mavs, though Mavs have a big run in the 4th quarter but it wasn't close enough to give them a chance to win, their chance is only to cover the handicap if you know what I'm saying.

It's just game 1 though, let's see if Mavs are more competitive in 2nd game.
They have to understand that Luka alone producing for the team is not gonna work.
Kidd should device a new game plan.

Too little too late for the Mavs to catch up. A massive game for Doncic but not enough against the Suns' balanced scoring. I think this is how it's going to  look like for the rest of the series. The Suns won't need any heroic single performance to close out the Mavs.

How are your bets? I'm glad Dinwiddie missed the last shot Grin It could have ruined the handicap.

This is expected for Suns but I'm surprised how huge the total score of this 2 teams even though they are fighting neck to neck in all quarters. Mavs recover on the 4th quarter but not enough to erase all the lead points of Suns that accumulated in the 3 quarters. Balance gaming is always superb than 1 man team carry since its less stressful to players while they can still have energy for defense unlike Mavs.

I think Mavs can still get a game or 2 if there bench players will step up and contribute points.
What I will be looking forward for the Mavs on Game 2 will be the answer to DeAndre Ayton. It's obvious no one can defend him using the small ball lineup of the Mavs. Powell's height is not enough to reach him or even change the direction of his shot. Ayton is not hesitating, he knows he can and the Suns will just repeat the same play until the Mavs will be forced to use a big man.
What could be Jason Kidd's thinking right now? I want to see a different attack next game. This ain't the Jazz with a slow Gobert, Ayton has that average speed for a center.

They also need to limit Luka's turnover in this game, it was costly for them, he had like 7 TO, very uncanny for Luka.

He even went iso on Javale and guess what, Javale stole the ball from him resulting in a monster dunk and the whole bench of Phoenix is very happy and proud of McGee. Yeah, it was late though, if they could have put a good rally late in the 3rd or early 4th, this could have been a good contest. But knowing the Suns, they are good at protecting their lead in the 4th.
