Curry had a great game, but so did everyone on that Warriors team as well. Poole seems to be growing into a great player as well, it is really unfair to the league that they got another good player Cheesy. Now they have curry, klay, draymond, wiggins and now Poole as well Cheesy.

This is just getting insane at this stage, doubt that they could put all five in at the same time, just doesn't work when you look at the positions, even if you put Draymond at C on that situation, who will play the PF position? Klay? Wiggins? It just doesn't work, I get the small ball, but that is tiny ball at that stage Cheesy. But, it is just so deadly that it is unbelievable and I believe they could go for the title yet again.

That's actually the exact 5 they threw on the court and labeled the lethal rotation.  Golden state took over the game and stretched the lead with that rotation.  Small lineup but unguardable.  Who are you going to double or take away?  Everyone of those players can create their own shot.

Took the risk here at early betting with +5.5 for the Mavs at 1.88. But that could have been better if you caught it live while Jazz was at the front.
I am amazed at Brunson as I didn't know he is capable to make things like that happen. I know he can score as when Luka Doncic is having a bad day he is always there to back him up but this far at a career-best of 41 points is astonishing. And what makes it sweeter is most of them came from attacking the paint with the DPOY Gobert defending it. Wow.

I didn't bet on Live Betting but I add some bets on Dallas Mavericks Championship Outrights. Cheesy

The odds increase from 20 to 50 when they lose in Game 1. Surely, after winning Game 2, that will be lowered again.

I will put my trust in Mavericks for this. I'm glad that they do some adjustments on Game 2 even without Luka on the floor. They should not rush Luka to play. They can at least gamble the next game or until the series will be 2-2.

It's not just Jalen Brunson's surprising 41 points which honestly I didn't expect, but their big man Maxi Kleber also has good stats on that game. One of the big guys in the league that has a good 3-point % and perimeter shooting. If that will able to maintain, this guy is hard to defend.

Yes, that's why James Harden forced himself to get out from the team because they are supposed to be a big three but it ended up as a big disaster because Harden was left out to carry the burden after Durant was injured and then they have Kyrie who only play road games because of his beliefs or whatsoever that kept him from getting vaccinated.

However, I would agree that those things already belonged in the past and the important thing now is that they managed to get in the playoff season. I believe Celtics will always give them a hard time and that's good because they need to prove themselves more if they are really worth it to claim the championship this season as they are one of the favorites to win.

Anyways, Ben Simmons is looking forward to play next week and the Nets have already started to get him included in their practice so that he won't be that rusty as his last game was almost a year already.

NBA Rumors: Ben Simmons Could Make His Nets Debut 'Within The Next Week'

He needs to play now, adding good defense while Kyrie and Durant are doing the damages for their offense, looking to see if they will

click together with Drummond, and Curry. Nets need someone to give tough defense and knowing Simmons' capabilities, he was one of those

best two-way player, but personally he doesn't need to bring the ball and create his shots more on defensive stopper he can matchup with either

Brown or Tatum.

Agreed.  I think Simmons will be vital on defense if he can get back in time to play this series.  I'm sure he'll be a bit out of the rotation on offense, but he's not exactly a shooter so he'll probably be bringing the ball up and trying to penetrate then kick out to an open shooter.  It shouldn't be too hard to get him worked in, but you never know.  I don't know if he's really coming back from injury or just trying to get back into shape.  He might be severely limited in his minutes as a result of either.  I want to see him do well though.  I think the Nets have a great team and I think at this point I'm hoping for a Nets/Warriors matchup in the finals.

During the live betting, Mavericks Moneyline rises up to @2.1 when Utah Jazz is leading by 8 points. If only I acted quickly, I'm sure enjoying the profits even a bit.

Dallas Mavericks did a good job in securing that win as that will also extend the resting and recovery period for Luka Doncic.

They can sit him again in Game 3 to prepare fully in Game 4. They didn't lose their morale when they are behind. Jalen Brunson explodes and that's what the Mavericks need. He is the best backcourt duo of Luka Doncic even before the arrival of Tim Hardaway Jr. and Spencer Dinwiddie.

I lost my prediction earlier because I thought that the Utah Jazz will easily beat the Lucka-less Mavericks. But guess what?  They've lost and because of that, the game will be unpredictable between these two teams. I think this kind of series will gonna reach game 7 since they already giving us some idea on how they strong they are and they are capable of beating one another, which team do you guys think will win?
Yeah, sorry man. It's not being unpredictable. It's Jazz which has the problem with Mavs. With Luka in it, it's a sure win and without the Mavericks does have a chance to beat them. First point, coaching problem. Coach Snyder is forcing Rudy Gobert to be on the floor even if he has not much use on both offense and defense. Pointguards won't even give him the ball or just can't.
Defensive end, he cannot match the speed of the small ball Mavs. I think he should just rest him up and use him again whenever need be.

I don't see any chance for the Denver to win in this series and I know many are thinking that way as well. Maybe if the shooters of Warriors are having a bad night then they might have a chance.
I agree on that even if it hurts as a Nuggets fan. I cannot see them winning any or just a lucky one with this kind of play. Something must be changed first and that is too much relying on the Joker.

I mean the Nets are good and all but they are the 7 seed.  If Boston advances they will likely meet up against the Bucks.  Then they will have to go through likely the heat or the 4/5 spot.  Tough road in the East but yeah the cets are legit (hate saying that as a knick fan but they are).

They ended up on the 7th seed because of the series of injuries on their key stars and Kyrie's pride because of his views about the vaccine. If only they didn't go through that, they might possibly end up clinching the Eastern Conference. But that doesn't matter now as more importantly, they enter the playoffs.

I like that Boston Celtics takes Game 1 as it opened up the possibility that they can deal with the healthy Brooklyn Nets. Although their Game 1 ended up in a close game, a win is a win no matter what. Hope that their series will end at Game 7 and most games will be intense. Smiley

Their series matchup is like watching already an ECF, well at least for me.

Too bad for the Pelicans, they have just arrived at the playoffs but the chances for them against the Suns is really slim because their caliber is not the same as the Suns. Unfortunately, fate isn't their side as there's no way they can move to the 2nd round without getting a fight against the Suns.

McCollum and Ingram's points didn't amount so much because DeAndre and Booker already have that points covered, also CP3 almost got a triple double. That guy is really good at setting up the table for his team and if his team cannot make the shot, he can always make it.

Yeah, the Pelicans just don't stand a chance of winning the Suns in the first round of the playoffs. However, I would note Valanchunis' phenomenal performance in this match as the Suns couldn't handle him and allowed him to grab 25 rebounds, including 13 offensive rebounds. It's crazy stats! So this guy will most likely surprise us in the upcoming matches, and I guess the Pelicans will be able to win at least 1 game in this series, thanks to him.

It is too unfortunate for them because they got the spot of facing the Suns on the first round, I'm not underestimating there talent but it's just impossible to happen that they could defeat them in this series, but yes maybe they can have that 1 game in their favor.

Yes, it's impossible not to see Valanciunas where he did 25 rebounds. That man is a true warrior in the center and the Suns is struggling to guard him whenever his at his spot, maybe there will be some other teams that will offer him this summer as he will be a good asset to any team he will belong.

^^ If I'm not mistaken Facu is coming off from a injury as well. But when he is inserted, you can see the Steph Curry is just manhandling him, shooting over because Facu is obviously much smaller than Steph. Jokic is so frustrated in their first 2 games that he exploded here and got ejected. This is what we have been saying, a healthy Steph and Klay and now plus Jordan Poole is really scary to watch and they will completely blow out teams. Draymond's basketball IQ defense against Jokic is also pictured in this series.
That's right they were left behind 10 pts I think in second quarter and after third quarter they actually have 5-10 pts advantage against Denver Nuggets. It's nice to see Jordan Poole scoring along with Steph and Klay I think they could be a good offensive trio and yes Draymond's defense on the inside is pretty good too and helped to slow down Jokic.

It's used to be like Curry + Poole or Thompson + Curry. But Steve Kerr has been suddenly chance tactics in this series to run and uses the 3 shooting guard. And so far this is very effective for them as they won the first 2 games with huge lead. But it will be a different ball game once they travel to Denver, but they are also a good road team so we will see how the Nuggets are going to adjust.

I love the way he’s sending his team out this playoff run. As a lifelong Chicago Bulls fan I used to watch Kerr dominate in the playoffs:championships and it’s just so cool to see him consistently back there (but of course as a coach). I think if the Nets don’t win it all the Warriors have a very good chance at the title. Of course that’s bud there’s no major injuries.

We are seeing the old warriors, everyone is contributing and playing their role on the court very well.
Now, they are more improved because they have Poole who is playing an unbelievable basketball, he is very comfortable now shooting without hesitation.

The crowd are happy for his performance, so he will be more inspired for sure.

They are playing with a lethal 5 person squad.  When Curry, Klay, Poole, Wiggins and draymond are on the floor together they are killing it.  Small lineup and will be tough for them to stop a dominant center like that but good luck keeping up with that team.  Steph coming off the bench dropping 34 in 23 minutes lol.

Warriors vs Nuggets later.
I wish Coach Malone has something up in his sleeves to counter attack. Judging by the way it ended at game 1, it was too far to say they have a winning chance at road or even at home. This Game 2 is to prove that wrong. Get a lead or end the game in a close battle. Just don't let it become another blowout game.
Will be supporting the Nuggets with +7.

It would be an interesting game if coach Malone will find a good system to counter Warriors offense or have a tough defensive stop

to avoid the Warriors in making more good looks with their shots, Poole covered Steph numbers, with lesser minutes for Steph

but good enough to produce decent numbers. Warriors are very deadly in terms of ball rotations. Better to keep closer and not to

let the players to build strong confidence, they will keep shooting the ball and give you a higher percentage in making those shots.

There may not be anything left. I saw Facu played after Jokic was ejected due to 2 technical fouls. Why don't they use them earlier for defensive purposes? That's the question that had been clouding my mind after the game.
Warriors have 4 threats on outside shots with Wiggins, Poole, Klay, and Curry. They need someone who can defend those guys and somehow be also effective on the offensive end. Facu is one of those guys that can do both.
The only threat I see is Jokic on the Nuggets side and Draymond Green got that covered while the others are shut down. Expecting a sweep or 4-1. Unless Murray will be forced to step in.
Whether Facu play or not, I'm feeling that the Warriors will be using broomsticks in this series.
Just by seeing in the first 2 games, its pretty obvious that Jokic alone can't carry the team especially when you are facing a complete Warriors team.

Lets just think for a second that Curry and Thompson alone is pretty deadly offensively and we know how good they are right? Now they've added another potential shooter in Jordan Poole which is playing very great in his first 2 games in playoffs. If they are playing like this all throughout the whole series against Denver, they have no chance. The three of them scored 84 of the 126 points of the team. Looney can't stop Jokic but Green can so putting him on Jokic would be better but still, I don't see any chance for the Denver to win in this series and I know many are thinking that way as well. Maybe if the shooters of Warriors are having a bad night then they might have a chance.

Nuggets were able to take the lead early but the Warriors are just too good to have their own run that the Nuggets were not able to bounce back anymore. They pretty well dominated the Nuggets, they frustrate Jokic, same strategy the Suns did to them, so yeah, it's a probable 4-0 series.

Yeah. Actually this is the original line-up of GSW when they first contend Cavaliers with James before Durant added in there roster. They are already good on this line-up before because they have green on defense while splash brothers on offense. What’s more on the current roster that new shooter on the line. A consistent play of Wiggins will gonna be a huge helpto boost there playoffs run. I believe they can beat Suns or an teams in the league.
