I was totally delighted with the first game of the Boston Celtics - Brooklyn Nets series. Thanks to a last second point for Celtics, they managed to win this game by only a one-point difference, 115-114. I admired the performance of each team here and they equally deserved a victory undoubtedly. And there was like a scoring duel between Jayson Tatum and Kyrie Irving here as well. Irving was the winner of this duel as he got 39 points and Tatum got 31. Celtics lead the series by 1-0 but I feel a great competition in this matchup already now. The side to advance to next stage would win this series by 4-3 I think.

Not a truly amazing performance by the Boston Celtics as they were unable to prevent the Nets' rally especially stopping Kyrie Irving. They almost lose that game after blowing a good lead. Nets almost win the game but got spoiled because of Jayson Tatum's quick drive to the hoop. If the scenario will be, the Nets will have the big lead, Celtics will have a hard time bouncing back.

Hope they learned something about that game. I'm sure next game an all-eyes of defense will be focused on Kyrie Irving as Tatum did a good job defending Kevin Durant limiting only its points to below 25 points.

Bucks vs Bulls is up next. It's going to be a dominant game for Giannis.

The Bulls cut the lead at 8 from being behind 13 points after the first half. The Bucks dominated the Bulls in the 1Q but somehow the Bulls come back a bit. Seems the Bucks can maintain their dominance after the half as the Bulls are trying to find their rhythm.

Checking the live bets, those handicaps for Milwaukee Bucks are catchy, tempting, and attractive.

Still thinking if I will bet on those.

Playing good defense throughout the game will help any team a lot even if they're having difficulty making shots. Getting the ball by stealing and rebounding also gives that team more chances to score. This is clearly displayed in the Celtics vs. Nets game.

Shame on Kyrie's hard work. He did everything, scored 39 points, made very difficult shots. He took responsibility in the most difficult moments. Durant was unable to shoot accurately throughout the game, he also failed to hit the final ball and Nets put up a disastrous defense on return. They lost with an unexpected last-second basket. A lot will happen in this series. We can say that Nets threw away an important opportunity. I can't even imagine how pissed off Kyrie is. If Durant had scored a little more accurate, they would've won the game.

Such disappointing defense down the stretch for the Nets. They must have given up at least 4 uncontested layups in the last 5 minutes of the game. Their final shot was terrible and they didn’t even make an effort to get the rebound. The Celtics deserved to win this one. It’s clear they aren’t the better team, but the Nets aren’t making the kind of effort they need to in order to win playoff games. I think the Nets will still win the series but they’re going to have to bring a lot more effort going forward. Their defense down the stretch was embarrassing. Kyrie had a hell of a game though.

There's no way the Nuggets will win a game against the Warriors, too much talent for the Warriors that the Nuggets could not defend. 4 shooters on the floor, my gosh, how can they contend that? Now is the only playoffs that they cannot double Curry because Poole and Thompson will be open, and look how they tire the Joker.

Golden State Warriors winning Game 1 against the Denver Nuggets is really impressive. If that phase of the momentum will continue, they might be winning the series by Game 5. However, we can't conclude anything referring to only the Game 1 performance. Denver Nuggets is surely aware now of what to do and will do the necessary adjustments next game like how to contain those who being on-fired from the Warriors, especially at the rainbow area. Surely, they have lots on their tank to try even the series.

There are lots of Nuggets players that aren't on their usual and having a bad night. If they will continue like that, Jokic will really end up exhausted as aside from putting efforts on offense, he's also one of their best defenders. That really results in too much work and loads for him.

Boston Celtics had a 15-point lead, but Kyrie Irving played so hard that he changed the game in an instant. He scored two three-pointers in a row and scored 8 points with an easy layup. Then Durant hit a three-pointer and the Brooklyn Nets took the lead again. If Boston loses the home advantage, they're going to be in big trouble. Brooklyn is such a team. They can change the game in an instant. Kyrie has already scored 29 and Durant 21, and don't forget Dragic from bench.

Kyrie is definitely in beast mode right now. Durant started off with a terrible shooting streak but as soon as the fourth quarter hit they all started going crazy. The Celtics are still dominating down low and the Nets defense in the key is concerning, but it looks like they’ve got momentum on their side as they are up by 5 with 5 minutes to go. Now that Durant seems to be back into his regular routine I’m starting to feel pretty good about picking the Nets to win this one (in several different bets). Crossing fingers now as I watch how this one ends.

Breaking: Lakers will fire head coach Frank Vogel after three seasons, per @wojespn
source

Great decision by the Lakers Management.
Now, Looking forward to the players that will be traded in preparation for the improvement by next season.

Who do you think will be TRADED?

Westbrook and Dwight for sure will be traded but I think the other team will request THT to add with the deal. I hope they will get a reliable center this time so that Lebron and AD will not gonna force too much on defense and avoid more physical activity inside the court. This news is the greatest decision LA management do to save there team for the next season. Too bad they do this late which cause them a lot.
Everyone has seen this coming, but actually no one can actually pinpoint if this decision is right or wrong. But i guess for most of the audience, Vogel should be out in the team in the first place as it only embarass everyone with all the injuries and turmoil the team has to suffer in the current season. And yeah, i guess Westbrook and Dwight will be traded, and right now, Lakers has been eyeing already who has the potentials to be the next Los Angeles Lakers coach.

Warriors are going with wherever they have left since their last proper run. Denver is a great team, Jokic makes sure of that but right now they are missing two very important players as well, they are missing both Jamal Murray since last year, and also MPJ as well for a while now.

But at the same time, they have the reigning MVP Jokic which should tell you all you need to know about how good they are. Warriors just dismantled them with ease without having any trouble. Sixers didn't shock me, they played very well, everyone (me included) got worried about their inconsistent play, one day they are great and one day they are not so great, this time around they were great.

𝗧𝗔𝗞𝗘 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘: Brooklyn are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games.

That is a damning statistic, but I feel like Kyrie isn't going to let this opportunity slip away from him to put up huge numbers in front of the Celtics and show them why he left.  This is one of the better matchups we're going to see this postseason I think and as it begins here momentarily, I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out.  If the Celtics win, I'll be very surprised, but I've been pretty let down by super teams this year.  No matter what happens, I'm expecting we'll see Ben Simmons towards the end of this series and I'm hoping that will put the Nets over the top and we'll see some 2017 Warriors style basketball dominance.

If the sixers keep playing like they did they will be a tough out in a 7 game series.  The key is Maxie and Harris.  Embid is gonna embid and Harden will get his free throws but if Harris and or Maxie can step up that's not a team anyone is gonna want to face.

I changed poll for Bucks vs. Bulls series, which team will pass the first round? Last champion and favorite Bucks or underrated Bulls? Let's vote and discuss.

The bucks are still underrated despite them being the champion last playoffs. Against the Bulls, I think they will just dominate, Bulls have lost their momentum from their good early start, probably because of injury problems but they need to man up this playoffs to at least give a good fight against the defending champion.

We see that without Dončić Mavericks don't have much chance, especially when Jazz have in form Mitchell and Bogdanovic.
Timberwolves - Grizzlies matchup will be better than expected. Twolves came from seventh seed but they play like there is not big difference. Edwards, Towns and Beasley look dangerous. Memphis should do more than just rely on Ja Morant. They need better boxout and get more rebounds, more points in the paint and thougher defense. This matchup might go seventh game.

Shaping up for another great day of playoff basketball.  So far there haven't been any big surprises.  Dallas and Memphis were both upset yesterday, but neither team was a heavy favorite.  Dallas might be able to recover but the Timberwolves were looking great against Memphis...

Today's action we get to see the Suns take the court with their best record in the West against the Pelicans who barely slipped into the playoffs.  The game I'm really excited to watch though is the Nets and Celtics.  Kyrie having bad blood there.  Durant not liking the fans.  It's a good setup for NBA drama.  Personally I think the Nets are going to destroy them, but you never know in the NBA.  Enjoy the games today everyone!

What happened to Nuggets ? it seems they cannot keep the pace with GSW and most likely they GSW will win in a series of 5.

They are on the road against a good team, although Nuggets is good as well, but the GSW has a complete lineup, with Curry (back in action), Klay and then the other splash brothers, Jordan Poole. And GSW played defense on Jokic, Green played him very well and making it hard for him to score under the basket. Just a bad game for the Nuggets, but for sure they will adjust on the next game.

I agree, we can really compare the difference of Warriors and Nuggets in terms of power and strengths because even the Joker in the center have been demolished. I don't know if you guys have saw Jokic earlier on the bench after he was substituted, he was really tired and gasping for air. While the Warriors have dominated them even if Curry is not in the starting line-up, they are trying to preserve Stephen Curry and only let him play if it's needed because Poole and KT is already there on the court shooting long threes.

Well, we can understand though because they missed their 2 best players, and with that said, it's impossible for the Nuggets to heavily rely on Jokic alone.
IIRC, Nuggets were swept by the Suns last playoffs, I have a feeling that it will be the same result this playoffs because no one is stepping up, like a big-time step up for the team to win, Gordon was expected to step up but his contribution was too small to get noticed.

I would say, Warriors in 4.  Smiley
That's true. It's like suddenly the truth was revealed of how bad the Nuggets are in this playoffs. Jokic, all Jokic. It became predictable.
The big question. How are they going to adjust if the play will just be the same over and over? Jamal Murray was the one who can change that but is still not available to play. He can do isolation plays or a two-man play with Jokic. Gordon should do the same. He can iso using post-up game and he has a shooting capability but we don't see much of it anymore.
I hate to admit it but it might be a sweep. Let's see how they will adjust especially defensively because that might be their best chance without their starters.

Memphis looked worse than I expected. I mean they are the second seed in the west, which is a HUGE thing, they had a 56 win season and the west is not that bad either and they are second there and ended up losing to the team that played in the play-in tournament. Maybe they will win the next 4 games and we will forget all about this, but my expectation was a sweep, so compared to that getting scored 130 points and losing the first game was a bit different feeling.
I don't think they can win the next 4 games, Minnesota did a great job on Morant, they know how to limit him and that also affected his play to his teammates. That 1 win on the road by the Minnesota is already huge enough for them to take the lead in the series, expect that game 2 is still not easy for the Grizz.

The warriors were like I expected there was no shock there at all, Sixers also played as I expected too and actually they were the most entertaining team to watch as well, Mavs vs Jazz was the only boring game that I couldn't really bare to watch the game, so I stopped, then opened the highlights so I would at least see that, and even that was too boring Cheesy
The warriors look like a real championship team now, they are very dominant and they don't even give a chance the Nuggets to have a close game. Well, we can understand though because they missed their 2 best players, and with that said, it's impossible for the Nuggets to heavily rely on Jokic alone.
