The joker had himself a night tonight. Jokic scored 35 points on 13-15 shooting from the field. Insane… He also added 12 rebounds and 8 assists. As much as I’d prefer Shaq’s game to Jokic’s, you can’t deny that having a center who can pass the ball and play with finesse is a great piece to have on the team. I can’t think of another center to compare his game to, and tonight he reminded everyone why he’s a former MVP as he led the Nuggets to a 6 point win over the Thunder (who surprisingly still covered the spread).

Yeah, almost another triple double for the Joker, and he really seems to be calm in his game, maybe he knows he can take OKC because they are just down to 8 players, although I'm not sure what is the initial handicap for this match. Because I wanted to bet on them by -6.5 live betting, but the good thing is that the odds keeps changing so I just give up. But in any case, I would have lost my bet. But still a good game by the Joker, but I doubt that he can do back to back MVP, Joel Embiid for me is the MVP for this regular season.

Spurs won 107 - 103.

With that win, Spurs is 2 games win behind the 9th and 10th. They are still alive at the play-in tournament. Pelicans are now tied with the Lakers. From the current standing, we can already picture out what will be the teams to compete in the play-in picture.

The Spurs' next 4 games are against Rockets, Grizzlies, and Blazers 2x. They should handle these teams except for the Grizllies without a problem.
I just checked at the schedule of the LA Lakers and damn it's messed up and they might not even make it to the play in tournament.
Lakers Schedule:
Pelicans (away) in need of a win to participate the play in.
Mavs (away) - badly need a win to lock their spot.
Jazz (away) - same with Mavs
Pelicans (home)
Nuggets (home) the same with Mavs.
Suns (away)
Warriors (away)
Thunder (home)

I think I made a wrong vote who will make the 9th and 10th seed. Anyway, thanks to @ingiltere for putting the poll, it made me check what is happening on the bottom of the WCF.

Cavaliers - Bulls game might be very competitive I think. These teams are really close to each other statistically now. Bulls are ahead of Cavaliers by only one victory now. They both are trying to stay among top six teams now. But it can be really difficult too. Bookmakers think that Cavaliers are closer to a victory in this but they are not an absolute favourite either. I don't think that the score gap will be more than ten points. They had three head-to-heads this season and the home team won every time. So I think this won't change here too.

The Chicago Bulls won this game, and as you might guess, there wasn't much of a difference in points Smiley The game finished 94-98 and both teams had a chance to win, but the Bulls were a little bit luckier and managed to win the game. The Cleveland Cavaliers played very well in the final quarter but could not completely close the gap in points

It looks like the Spurs will have a very good chance to move up to 10th place in the standings if the Pelicans lose to the Lakers in the upcoming match. Furthermore, there are only 8 games left until the end of the regular season, so there could be a very intense struggle between these teams for the last place in the play-in tournament.

Kyrie Irving can play at home again. When news broke Wednesday that the New York City mandate that kept unvaccinated athletes from playing in home games has been lifted, Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving said he had to keep pinching himself to make sure it was real. Source: https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/33601551/brooklyn-nets-kyrie-irving-excited-play-home-games-season

Brooklyn Nets' next home game will be tomorrow and we should expect Kyrie Irving playing on their homecourt.

It's good news for Brooklyn Nets now that playoffs are coming. But having Irving playing is not enough as their teammates should also adjust.

I can't still move on how Nets with Durant and Irving having a big production lose to a Morant-less Memphis Grizzlies. They should think about why they allow it to happen. That's a bad result for me knowing Nets capability when these 2 are playing at the same time.

You should be happy that the Spurs have a chance to be in the playoffs, I mean, their lineup is not as strong as the other teams who have a couple of all-star players, and yet they are still competing at a higher level. They are currently playing with the Pelicans now, let's see if they can have a good run to make it a close game.

Bound to happen sooner or later.

The Nets had a midseason struggle but I think that they are on track to make a late season push, potentially even out of the play-in tournament.

The bottom of the east is extremely tight right now and it wouldn't be unbelievable that due to Kyrie's presence, the Nets can finish in the 6th or even 5th seed. If they can do that then they can potentially get way more leverage in the post-season.
If I totally agree, the nets have a lot of influence now, I do not care if they are 5th or 6th, I think that if they do a good job for now the results can be obtained, if there is a player or more that can prevent them from ascending any thing can happen if they are understood on the court, I am a fan of basketball and practical, just see these games cause me a lot of euphoria and someday I would like to run up with one of those players and why not do an interview, what happens through their mind When are you in such an important match?

I think the Chicago Bulls are closer to winning. Because the Chicago Bulls' squad is better.
In the last 5 games, both teams have only won one game.
Both teams have to win to qualify for the playoffs.

Cavaliers are only a slight favorite coming to this game, they are currently at -2 on sportsbooks and I think it's not a big upset if the Bulls would beat them on their home. Both badly need a win, so I'd rather take the under as I'm thinking of a tight defense scenario.

Goran Dragic and Seth Curry are coming back from injuries to play in todays Nets game against the Miami Heat. Miami has lost 3 straight and their frustration has been showing lately. Boiling over with Butler and Haslem going at each other on the sidelines during a game. They have have the better record but I think I’d take the Nets today. They’re playing hot and Miami is a mess. Still no Ben Simmons in the lineup but with the season winding down I think he needs to start making appearances on the court to get ready for the playoffs.

Yeah, not sure what is going on behind close doors on the Miami Heat, but they have lost they ground in the East although they will probably remain on top if they will win their remaining games as they have the tie-break against the Bucks and 76ers.

However, in this game against Brooklyn, the Nets are healthy once again with Seth Curry coming back and Dragic. So I'm also with the Nets on this game today with the handicap win.

Pelicans, Lakers and Spurs are the ones who are fighting at the 9th and 10th spot. It would be very disappointing for the Lakers if they will be the ones who will be eliminated and will not enter the play-in tournament. I want Lakers though to enter at least the play-in Smiley. Maybe Spurs and Lakers Cheesy.
As of this stage, I would not be disappointed anymore because I witnessed how long they are struggling, if they can barely make it on the play-in, there's no chance for them to upset the upper team in the playoffs.

Let's look at their last 10 games. (Win-Loss)

Spurs 5-5
Pelicans 4-6
Lakers 3-7

Can you imagine that record of the Lakers?
As a spurs fan, this scares me. I mean we are not like "win now" mode like lakers, we have great young players and we are building a great future. Between dejounte, poeltl, keldon, vassal, primo and many that I am forgetting right now, we are talking about a team that is mainly like 24-25 years old on average.

In 3-5 years this team would be amazing and beyond measure and we could get some rookies that could be decent in 3-5 years as well. So we should not be focusing on play-in tournament right now. Instead Spurs should be trying to tank, like be the last team in the whole league, that would be a lot better if you ask me. This is not the way to .

Same here, Miami Heat is sure a tough team to beat but the way the play recently was a kind of disorganized compared to the Nets who is really thirsty to win and get a secure spot in the playoffs season without getting themselves in the play-in tournament, they still have a chance and winning against the Heat today is a step they need to take.

The Nets have lost last time against the undermanned Grizzlies and that surely shocked them, so I really think they would gather all their strengths to win and bounce back from that defeat.

Both teams are pretty much unpredictable now but both still need to play hard because of the positioning that they need. Miami Heat might be the number 1 team in the East currently but they could drop to number 5 and lose their home-court advantage if they will continue that losing streak. On the other hand, Nets need more wins so they can prevent the play-in tournament.

It's been coming all along, it was just a matter of time, now with an unleashed Kyrie Irving and should Ben Simmons get back heathily then Brooklyn Nets would be the favorites to win the championship imo, they'd have ticked every available boxes there is inorder to beat any team in any potential series.

I wish he do. The Brooklyn Nets are in bad shape now and they need to protect that 8th rank so that a 1 game win is all they need to win to enter that playoffs. If they lose now, Hornets and Hawks are at their tail to try and obtain that spot and secure it for a higher chance to be in the playoffs.
Kyrie will be there but this is the top seed of the East which is undoubtedly balanced with their roster. They may have some differences in the sidelines and a bad losing streak considering how they lose against a star-less Warriors but they are still a strong opponent which should not be taken lightly.
Seth will play an important role on the defensive end.
