Shai Gilgeous-Alexander!!! Buzzer beater in the three-point lane.
What a great ball game! Clippers could've put the dagger if Winslow put in the two free throws given to him. But no, he missed them both and let the lead stay on 2.
What's more amazing is, it was Nicolas Batum who was defending SGA. He was expecting him to attack the paint for a two-point and let the game go overtime but he didn't. Stepped back make a large space against the defender and gave the OKC a W.

Damn, I had Clippers -2.5 in that game mate, when Jackson shoot both free throws I said to myself that my chances are high to win as they are up by 4 points. But they did put a poor defence on SGA and allow him to score easy two. And then that 2 free throw missed really cost me the game and then that winning shot by SGA. Well that's NBA for us, truly excitement up to the last second.

I feel you, Even I don't have a bet in that game but the frustration after that 2 missed FT.

And like what you have just said, it's NBA and shit always can happen. What to do now is to move on and forget about the game
to think clear finding the game that will give you a chance to recover.

Congrats to all those who take both ML and handicap for OKC, that's really sweet!

Golden State Warriors blown out by the Toronto Raptors. 5 starters are missing but it could be better if Jordan Poole was there. (Out due to health and safety protocols.) This Covid-19 just won't stop messing with our entertainment.
The one big talk I have seen on Twitter was the Jazz losing again. One of the top team in the West being defeated by the Spurs yesterday and now the Wizards. The ending was almost the same. Close game and a battle of defense. Wizards might have seen the weakness of Jazz now. Turnovers. Wizards only made 9 but the Jazz made 15 and that is enough difference for a win.

It's worth noting that Lebron scores an average of 25.7 points per game this season. Imho this is an impressive result for a 37-year-old player. By the way, he still needs 2559 points to break Kareem's record, and it looks like he will be able to break it next season if he continues to play at the same pace.
At his age, that is very impressive already because most of the NBA players at that age will have a lower performance but he is playing like he is still at his prime age.

With how he is playing right now and if it continues until the next season or within the next 2 years, for sure he can surpass Kareem for all time leader for points and I think that it is Lebron's final achievement in his NBA career before he retires. Well, an advance congratulations for him then and I just hope that he will not get injured or it will take a longer time for him.

Yes absolutely!!
We can perform a quick calculation.

The NBA regular season has 82 games. If LeBron James is still consistent, he can play all 82 games, multiplying his point with average (25 points per season) with regular season games, we'll have 2050 points per season!

I believe LeBron James will pass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar soon, maybe even before he turns 40.

Lol, yeah I also watch the game, I just step up after the foul to Winslow and when I come back it's over and OKC won to my surprised. And I was trying to figure out how did they do it in less than 10 seconds if I'm not mistaken. Until I saw @danherbias07 explaining as how the game ended. Too bad, but as you have said, that's the game we love and it's not over till the buzzer.

For sure.

However, numbers aside, how much of this is actually translating to wins for the Lakers?

Lebron is easily the best player on the team and gets the most touches, so it wouldn't be a surprise that he is indeed averaging a great amount of points. But his efficiency is declining for sure.

I believe this is an interesting question!
I have no doubts that LeBron James will continue to play for some seasons in the future, I think until his 40s his level won't drop drastically (in my opinion).

At almost 37 years old he is still considered one of the best players in the NBA today.
I don't think so, no doubt LJ will retire to his heart team, Cleveland Cavaliers.
And I don't know either, because if I'm not mistaken, LeBron James has been the only player in NBA history being champion with 3 different teams (correct me if I'm wrong)

I also share the thinking @Jating said just above, I think LJ will wait for Bronny to be drafted into the NBA (I believe in Cleveland) and LeBron James and his son will play together side by side on this team.

By the way, I almost forgot to comment but... if LeBron James continues with this performance he's been having lately, I don't doubt if a few seasons ahead he can break Abdul-Jabbar's record and LJ become the highest scorer in history of the NBA.

Ugly game between the Magic and the Nets, Lol, no superstars on both team and most of the players are either rookie or just a player getting from D-league to filled out the spot.

So it's really hard to watch the game, only Patty Mills and Blake for the Nets and I don't know if it is enough to carry the team and with the game as they are down.

They completely doing fine here because Griffin seems to have his best night in his career as a Brooklyn Nets. they already cut the lead to single-digit and in the second half, the game will be more intense. I'm just worried about the fans because more likely they wanted to see KD or James Harden play but instead, they are cheering for Brooklyn without those two playings.

It's already the 4th quarter and I doubt that they can overcome the Magic.

I may have lost my bet here, it was late that I read that Durant is not going to play. Anyway, good win for the Magic, at least they will have something to cheer about as they have been in a 7 game losing streak and it might end today. OKC vs Clippers, no PG13 as well, so there could also be a win for the cellar dweller Thunder.

It's been a completely different team with only Mill and Griffin leading the Brooklyn Nets, just 2:58 left to play in 3rd Griffin is the only Nets player with a made 3 point, the rest of the team are 0/20, how terrible can it get ? This should be a win for Orlando Magic unless there's a complete turnaround in the 4th, which of course I'm not expecting.

btw: I read about Kyrie Irving making progress of returning to training with the Nets team, but will be only allowed to play in the road matches, regardless I still think it's an advantage to the Nets to have a guy of Kyrie's quality on standby for road games.

Bronny is popular because of Lebron James, it's a common sense, his father is the king of basketball, so we are expecting him as a prince that will be good as his father. However, I don't think he will be as good as his father, maybe he has the talent but he won't be near his father in terms of success, I hope I'm wrong but that's what I see on him now.
I have watched Bronny and I have to say even compared to players he plays at his age, he wasn't the best and I doubt that he could be drafted right now. He is seen as a first round pick, not an early one though, a late first round pick or a very early second round pick as of right now. I am guessing this pandemic didn't do that well for him or maybe did awesome for him I have no idea, while we needed to watch more of him to decide if he was good or not, he had to stay at home for long periods of time, and if he was great then we missed out on seeing it or if he is not well then he managed to hide it.

It is obvious that he gets a ton of fame from his dad, there is no denying that but no team will get Bronny for just 1-2 years of 39+ years old Lebron, that just doesn't make sense, or maybe financially that will be profitable so who cares about wins? I don't know what will happen really but I can see Bronny not even get drafted if he has a horrible college season.

The Boston Celtics - New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets - Orlando Magic games seem very likely to be postponed. Because there are many players who have got covid-19 at each teams. Then, the biggest game of the night would be Toronto Raptors - Golden State Warriors. However Stephen Curry could be rested this time. In his absence, Raptors' win probability would go really high.
Not only Curry would rest but all the starters are not going to play if I'm not mistaken. So it's not the biggest game of the night as Warriors will never win against a strong Raptors with most of their key players are not playing.

In that case, I would not expect the Warriors to win this game, a Curry-less, Draymond-less, Poole-less, and Wiggins-less warriors would never beat a solid team like the Raptors, I expect them to give up the fight in the 2nd half as the Raptors will come out strong and finish strong as well.

Back to commenting on this topic... yes, LeBron James for his age, he's still very athletic! I believe he is one of the most well-arounded players the NBA has ever had.
Depending on the situation and your athleticism, I share with you that LeBron James will be able to play after 40 years.
If someone told me ten or twenty years ago, a player can be this active at the age of 36 while arguably being the most effective player in the league and it looks like he might be able to play at least 4-5 years, I might not believe that at all. Even though I don't personally like him so much, he is still at this age a franchise player who can get a championship in any team he might go. Of course he is no Jordan and at this era of NBA we can never have a Jordan effect like the 90s. Lebron is a beast and still very exciting to watch.
Beats? I think not anymore... Lebron might be able to maintain his stats but he cannot carry his team alone, the reason of his success is because he surrounded himself with all-star players that has been previously recognized as one of the best players in the NBA, Westbrook, Davis, and Carmelo Anthony are great examples to that.
