Lakers 0-2 vs Denver, Miami 1-1 vs Celtics.

What's happening here? I think Lebron has to get in touch with Coach Spo and ask him one more time to join the Miami Heat for him to get a ring. Who expected that win by Miami in game 2? No one.. That's how good coach Spo was, if Lebron stayed with Miami, there's a big chance that he'll get more rings but he thought he doesn't trust the coach anymore after giving him 2 championships.

I can say now that currently, it's coach Spo is the best coach in the NBA.

Coach Spo is the best man, I never expected such a thing to happen but I think since they have been rivals for years now against the Celtics in the Eastern Conference, Coach Spo already knew how to counter some of their movements and we witnessed how he executed a perfect plan to beat them. next game in the Miami Heat court will be filled with excited cheering fans for the Heat and they have the court advantage, with this hype, they could get another win in their next game and the Celtics will be in serious trouble because of all the teams in the East, Heat in the last one they want to be their opponent in a do or die situations.

Because of that win, the Miami heat fans are now more confident that despite not having Jimmy in the line up, the current roster will be able to beat the powerhouse Boston Celtics. I wonder what would be the changes of the Celtics if they still lose to the Heat, and I just hope they'll not trade players, instead they'll change a coach that are more experience in the post season than the regular season. They don't need to be at the top, they just need to be in the playoffs and advance in the Finals again, and only a coach like Spo could do that.

Though the series is still far from it's end, but giving Heat a chance to lead the series might risk the chance of Boston to move forward, with the way Heat played more on trsuting one another and rotate the ball quicker, Boston unable to answer back especially those raining three point shots, which Miami is known to have that deadly playing style, it's just amazing that they made this win without Jimmy they really shared the ball well and they are not ducking to anyone.

They wanted to win that's why they show determination on both their offense and defense, they put the game on their control and Boston don't have any answer, seems that they out of gas especially in the last quarter, they don't have any solution with the rally that Heat runs against them.

I like coach Spo encouragement to his players, making them believe on themselves and allow them to too a shot when they see an opening, it's not a one person game, it's a team and I like Herro here being a facitator aside from his scoring.

I think if Herro continues to perform in the upcoming games as well as he did in the second game of this series, he can almost fully compensate for Butler's absence from the court.
Who knows, maybe the Heat could have even won the title last year if Herro hadn't been injured at the time and performed as well as he is performing now.

The Heat will in the series if they continue to shot well outside, 53% shooting percentage beyond the arc, that's hard to maintain. The problem with the Heat is if they struggle outside, no one would be able to score inside except Adebayo, if they have Butler, he can attack the paint, and could kick out to the outside shooter if someone is open. Well, let's just see what's gonna happen, a coach that are good in making adjustment, that's the team that will win.

The Miami Heat just pulled the biggest upset since the start of the playoffs. I wonder what will be the mental effect of this defeat to Tatum and Brown. I thought Boston will win both home games and might lose 1 or 2 in Miami. But here we are again, Miami stealing a road game. The tough Miami mentality might once again make a huge upset by beating Boston in their series.

Breaking down the game, it's really effective when Miami scattered their offense and not just focus on Herro. Adebayo should continue pushing like this and not limit his offense even when the defense is tight. Boston might remain favorites even at Miami, especially without Butler.
I agree completely. Your point about their offense and Adebayo is very right. Their offense was great throughout the game, especially the second half. Their 3 points percentage was great. How they were ahead of Celtics the whole game was very impressive. And without Butler. You gotta respect the Heat. They've done it last year very very impressively and they've done it this year again. I mean, considering how Celtics are the favorites for the series and even the title. Erik Spoelstra may be the best coach by far. For years, he has made the miami heat a feared playoff team with rookies drafted or not drafted from the lower ranks, mediocre task men, star-like players(except butler).

Good coaching is already there but their hot hands on 3’s makes them do the impossible to beat the Celtics which the coach can’t control during the game. I think the players eagerness and determination to win despite the odds is what makes them unleash the beast for their 3 points shooting.

I feel goosebumps watching the match because I see Warriors back then during the day when everyone is shooting 3 without any sweat. Everyone step up on today’s games as shown on the score distribution among the players of Miami. Celtics is trying to recover until the end but it’s very hard to come back when the opponent team is in the zone.

Literally anyone 3s from Miami is successful as if it was magnetized by the ring.  Grin
Nasty 3-point shooting. 23/43. That's above 50 percent and absolutely high for any team. If you are a Miami fan and missed the game, you would think this is all done by Duncan Robinson, but it's not him, he only made 2 of 7. It's Tyler Herro who made 6 of them, Jacquez Jr. with 3, and Caleb Martin 5 of 6. Wow! That undrafted player is really something else, he proved his worth last playoffs and he is doing it again this year. Stepping up his game whenever it is needed especially when one of their stars is not around.
This is big for the Miami Heat, it will be a confidence builder as they go back to their homecourt, and they will probably play at a high level there.
Damn, I was wrong taking that +12.5 I should've trusted them more, especially their bench. This is the reason why they hate being called undermanned whenever their stars are not playing, they were never undermanned.

I won't say that they've choke, yeah, they build a early lead and it was eaten slowly by the Nuggets. But they were able to stay in the game, albeit, AD was in foul trouble. But Lebron did try to rally the team, but it's wasn't meant for them as Murray had the last say. If they lost like in the 4th quarter and then the Nuggets won big then yeah you can call it choke.

But it was tied and they could have go to OT and maybe the outcome could be different. Now, it's need to survived and win game 3 to stay in this series, otherwise as I have said, it could be 4-1 for the Nuggets.
Analyzing that game, I'm seeing a lot of blame to Lebron and Darvin Ham. This only shows the love of the fans to Lakers and they want to see them move on to the semis.

A lose is a lose and Nuggets was just too good and composed with it. They've been into these kinds of situations and also with the Lakers but we can see on how AD is a valuable guy to the team.

He's made a lot of points but when he's got into foul trouble, we've seen them that they've become like limited.

4-1 is also what I am seeing a lot of people saying.
I think man for man, it could be a split 50/50 between the two teams. But in the end, the Lakers failed to protect their lead and execute their plays. There are even moments that James look frustrated, but he still managed to go and the game was closed. That is the heart of the champion, Nuggets shows composure and we have seen that championship DNA in them in this two games as the Lakers will take the lead and then they make a huge comeback and then this winning shot by Murray. 4-1? Maybe, it will all depend on the next game at Lakers homecourt. Darvin Ham should show his strength here as a coach as a exit in this playoff could also mean that he will have to find another coaching job somewhere.
I won't be surprised if by the next season the Lakers management will choose another coach if ever Ham fails to make the team beat the Nuggets which is unlikely.

And if the Nuggets continue to win against the Lakers for this playoffs, how many times did they've been beaten every playoffs?

It's going to be written on their books of history then. We'd see if the homecourt advantage will do a thing.

Who knows? Maybe the Miami Heat will draft Bronny in the next draft combine, and they get Lebron as well. A happy reunion indeed. Cheesy

Kidding aside, I don't think that Pat Riley will like reuniting with Lebron again especially now that they are performing well like in Game 2 where they just won against the top team in Celtics with the help of 3-pt shooting - a thing where the Celtics is good at. Kind of ironic that you're the best team in three-point shooting, but you lost because of that.

Coach Spo has been known for being one of the best coaches in NBA history, and many call him a "TACTICIAN" and it fits well from him. No Butler in that game Vs. 4 all-star players and a bunch of good role players and they still won. The adjustments that Coach Spo did was just amazing. Now what the Heat need is to defend their home court in the next 2 games. The Celtics has one of the best records on the road with 27-14 during the regular season. As for the Lakers-Nuggets, I'll bet on the Nuggets in Game 3. I'll stand in my prediction that they will sweep the Lakers yet again. Cheesy

^ Ya, the 3 point shooting performance from the Miami Heat was something else tonight. Boston didn’t have much of a chance against a shooting barrage like that. It isn’t very often you see a team shoot over 50% from three point range. If that’s what it’s going to take for them to win the next game, that’s a tall order…

53% to be exact, and so that's hard to beat even if you are the Boston Celtics and playing at home. It will be interesting how the Celtics are going to adjust in game 3. The Heat steal one game from them in their homecourt, so they might be thinking of getting one back at a hostile environment.

So this is a big test for them, but as we've seen before, not the first time that the Miami Heat did this kind of upset. Although I would like to see Jimmy Butler in this kind of situation, unfortunately, he is injured.

Yes, the number of three-point attempts and makes by the Heat in this game is impressive. On the one hand, I'm surprised that the Heat without Butler were able to tie the series against the Celtics. On the other hand, even before the playoffs, there was speculation that the Heat could be a nasty surprise for their playoff opponents, and the result of this game confirms it.

They did it once before the playoffs, and now they proved it again. People should not doubting the Heat anymore, they are consistent in the playoffs dispite Butler's injury issue and been inconsistent sometimes. This game proved that when the Heat are moving the ball well, good things will happen.
I remember that time, Jovic also have a great game in that particular meeting and they did it again. I thought that was only in the playoffs since Celtics may not be serious anymore since they already earned the top spot, but at their home court in game 2? This is quite surprising because the Celtics have won 90% or more of their games at home. I like coach Spo encouragement to his players, making them believe on themselves and allow them to too a shot when they see an opening, it's not a one person game, it's a team and I like Herro here being a facitator aside from his scoring.

So let's look forward in game 3, as long as the Heat take the lead in the series, they'll be in a comfortable situation and if this could reach game 7, it's more fun to watch. Herro was the Hero but everyone do their takes, it's a total team effort.

They should win game 3 as that's their home and the Celtics might not be able to to adjust yet. Now, it will be another battle of the minds, the Celtics has to be mentally touch and forget about what happen in game 2, it's just one game anymore and the series is far from over.

Thunders leading by double digits at the end of the first half? Do you think it's going to be as close as game 1? I personally doubt the Pelicans have anyone that will change the course of this game. Ingram is having another bad night so far while McCollum looked to be struggling as well. The Thunders will likely blow them out completely in the third quarter.

I'm also seeing that possibility, if the Lakers failed again this season chances that coach Ham will be replaced, they've got everything that they need to support LeBron and AD but still they unable to move forward, though I don't want to conclude as the series still alive, Lakers just need to win, they almost snatch that win but they collapse in the last few minutes of the game and with the determination from Nuggets they manage to overrun the Lakers and complete the rally to win the game.

Those raining 3's again is the best weapon of Miami, we are witnessing them again using this offensive arsenal, it's tough to adjust when the ball is rotating so well plus the defense is really giving Boston a hard night, though still far in concluding the possible outcome but now for sure it added excitement especially for the Heat's fans, let see what adjustment will be for Boston and what counter adjustment for Miami playing at home.

It was raining at the TD Garden but it's the Heat dropping treys. Taking 43 shots from deep and making 23 of them is pretty good. Another thing to note in Heat's series tying win is that Caleb Martin finally showing up.

I didn't think they could steal one game to be honest so I didn't even bother to check the ML odds and spread. Did you get lucky with your bets?
