Nikola Jokic always has a problem and that problem is when he is so dominant in the teamwork but he is in a bad day in accuracy. Several times i see Denver Nuggets losing the games because the joker try so many shots and he fail a lot of them, clearly you cant complain about it because also the joker win for you so much games in alone plays made by him.

Perhaps he needs to shoot more in some games because they are down and his team mates are not making any shots. Like in game 7, he had missed a lot of 3 points, but suddenly make back to back because they are down.

Porter choke, can't make his jump shots and so is Murray who supposedly the second best option for them. And then Gordon wasn't able to contribute as well while the Wolves played great defense in game 7 and their big men dominating the boards with Gobert, KAT and Reid.

Jokic tries to get his teammates involved most of the time. He doesn't take a shot everytime he has the ball. Denver didn't lose their series because of Jokic at all. They lost because of the inconsistency of Murray and Porter IMO. Both can nail 3 pointers but went cold a lot in most of the games they lost. On top of that, Minnesota was the #1 defense in the league this year and after being down 20 in the 3rd, they showed everyone why they got that rank.

Agreed saying jokic is the reason they lose or lost is crazy work.  Take jokic off that team and they are a play in team that loses a first round series if they make it in.  With any game your stars take you there but it's always the other guys that need a great hmgame or 2 to take you over the top.  Look at ANT he had a terrible game but his teammates picked him up.  You'd say the same thing about ANT if they lost

While I don't think Denver's dynasty is over quite yet, I am appreciative that the Minnesota Timberwolves are going to get a chance to show that they're capable of being the best team in the NBA.  They have some work to do in my opinion with regards to how they run their offense and they need to grow a bit more in maturity, but they've got the most talented player in the NBA in Anthony Edwards.  I would have rather seen those two teams meet up in the Western Conference Finals, but I'm sure we'll be seeing them meet up in the playoffs again.  Denver just needs to strengthen their bench a little bit and they'll be back in the running.

Only Jokic is the consistent amongst the 3, Murray had on/off performance, and Gordon wasn't able to contribute and stop ANT as well. Porter Jr, who average close to 20 points didn't get double digits in the majority of the game and his shooting is awful.

While the Wolves has a lot of players stepping up, like Gobert, although a liability in defense if he faces Jokic, he was big in the middle and even scored a lot in the last game. So with Naz Reid who played good defense on Jokic, while Alexander-Walker put Murray on lock mode. KAT is big if he is not in foul trouble and as former 3 point champion, he shoots from that range uncontested and makes it.

I agree Murray and MPJ seem to not be themselves, unlike the way they played last year. Maybe they are not that hungry for the championship anymore since they already achieved it. Both of them must find a way to bring back that energy that they had before they became champions.

Jokic on the other hand is just the same as he was last year, maybe even better and so is Gordon. It's just sad to see that Gordon seems to be not in the same condition as he was back in the 3 games that they won the games.
Still, the  Denver Nuggets must fortify their bench. Their production is not that great and I think that's the reason why Coach Malone is doubting using them. It's a waste considering the prime of Jokic is now and they must take advantage of it by strengthening the whole roster.

Stats wise we can all see that big advantages as like what the post above you mentioned with the two towers they can give a free looks for ANT, the good catch is KAT also have that killer instinct, he have that capabilities to attack and that height and veterans advantage against the young big of Dallas, though basketball is the game of skills and good adoptions to adjust.

We will see what will be the outcome of this series after bringing those info about the comparisons of these two teams that competes.
I mean if we are thinking about who will stop gobert or KAT then we would not be looking at the right way, usually Gobert is not a scoring threat, he is a defender and he did defend so well that they beat Jokics Denver, so he is definitely amazing at that, and even with his size he can defend the perimeter if he is drawn there too.

However, the deal is that Kyrie and Doncic are the weapons for Dallas, and there aren't enough perimeter defenders at Wolves to stop these two, to be fair there aren't that many defenders in the whole world that can stop these two, they are quite amazing at what they do. So, I think it is quite obvious that we are going to see Dallas have a great offense, we just don't know if Wolves would too, wolves came thus far with defense, they may do it again.

Yeah that was a crazy game but it wasn't ant who won them that game it was the other guys.  Naz Reid came up huge.  Jaden McDaniel had a quiet 23, and that putback by KAT on that offensive rebound was so clutch.  First time in history anyone has come back in the playoffs down by 15 or more.  Gonna male for a great wcf (which the NBA finals winner should come out of).
No doubt KAT shined on that game. And the solid defense against Jokic did also helped him not to have that scoring position.

It's so frustrating on the side of the Denver Nuggets when they're almost sure going to end the game with a lot of lead. Coming from 20 points lead to losing the game on that game 7.

 Undecided

That was really disappointing and you can see on the interview of coach Malone.

Michael Malone Upset at Reporter's Question After Nuggets Game 7 Loss to Wolves

But they need to move on now, at least they won a championship last season, so they just need to improve this team again. Probably it's also time for them to think of getting rid of players that are not so useful in the playoffs, Jokic and Murray will remain as they are the bread and butter of the team, but they should be sorrounded with great role players, so they'll time they'll not choke.
Well, anybody will be totally in disappointment with what happened. I agree that they still did great this season, after winning the last season's ring, they still made it far to the playoffs.

The sad truth there, it seems that the Nuggets only has three players.

Jokic, Murray and Gordon.

They start up strong so there's nothing to get disappointed for their performance since they still made this far. Although many of their fans want to see them advance on conference finals but it shows that Wolves is so good in this season that's why they have been eliminated. But fans are surely satisfied with what they see since we can see a long series of this match and we can see that all of the games they play is so intense and its like we are seeing a championship vibes with them. For sure Nuggets learn a lot from what they experience this season so we maybe can expect for their comeback next season since for sure they provably learn from their past mistakes made.

I can't say that other people maybe didn't perform better but I guess they are just been outsmarted by Wolves so with that they need to adjust to provide more better performance for their team next season.

Based on the betting odds they are likely to meet in the Finals, but we can wait, and let's see if they can beat their respective opponents because I think the Pacers and the Mavs are in the conference finals because they are also good.

That's right, we can see the complete odds here. https://www.covers.com/nba/finals/odds

Celtics is the heavy favorite with -165, followed by Wolves, Dallas and then the Pacers.

Dallas are currently at +500, honestly I'm quite tempted to bet on that, but at the same time, I'm also tempted to bet on the Pacers with +3000 because they are  healthy team, they rely on each other so they can last as long as they'll be able to compete with the team like the Celtics.

For risk takers for sure Dallas will be the best option for them, and like what you mentioned,  it's not only Wolves who's got a good journey so far after beating the defending Champ but with how Dallas managed to blend the Players together and how both Luka and Kyrie managed their on-court relationships that's something that brings them to this far, it's the game between two promising squads the only thing that will separate them is to whom is much hunger and the one that will really put everything to win the conference finals and move to chase the world title Champ!

It’s suicidal to YOLO bet with Dallas considering how great the defense and offense of Wolves. I wonder who will guard with Gobert and KAT properly on Dallas current line-up without removing Kyrie and Luka on their player on the court.

Both Kyrie and Luka will be a burden on defense if they can’t answer on offense while ANT will have the greatest day of his life free shooting or driving due to the space that Gobert and KAT give to him.

It’s a massacre to think that Wolves will play same energy level when they are against Nuggets. Maybe game 1 might be rest for Wolves but the rest of the match will surely overwhelming for Dallas.
For Gobert, it would be Gafford most of the time if he isn't injured but if he is, it would be Lively II. For KAT, most of the time it would be PJ Washington.
Overall, I don't see the Mavericks winning on this one either.

I mean I don't underestimate the Mavericks in this match-up, but beating the defending champions? Defeating a team that has the MVP and currently the best player in the league? That's a bigtime statement for the Timberwolves saying, "We're here to win it all." Irving and Doncic will be having a hard time finding ways to get some rhythm because of the suffocating defense of the Timberwolves that's for sure. The Wolves have it all. Defensive minded players but can contribute on offense as well. I will not be surprised if the Timberwolves will get the NBA title this season after 20 years of continuously losing.

Beating the Nuggets surely boost the morale of the Timberwolves, and they will carry it all throughout the playoffs. I'll go with Timberwolves on this one probably in 6 games, or 5 maybe, but it will not go 7 games. No disrespect to the Mavericks, but the Wolves are just better.

The odds of Minnesota skyrocketed during the 2nd quarter when they are being dominated by Nuggets. I didn’t manage to bet because I’m busy watching but thise who bet live get a solid win.

It's worth noting that the Wolves looked down by the end of the second quarter of that game, as the Nuggets were already leading by a lot of points. Placing a bet on the underdog team to win at that point seems like a bit of a gamble, and I think there were very few who actually decided to do it.
There's always risk in gambling, it's up to you if you'll take the risk. High risk, high reward, that's what you get especially if you are betting on the moneyline. I wonder what was the betting odds when wolves were down by 20, and if someone bet on them to win straight up, that would be a lot of x....

p.s.
As for the upcoming series, I personally expect the Wolves and Celtics to meet each other in the finals.

Dallas definitely has a great arsenal of scorers, and it is not double team type of thing anymore. Jokic was stopped basically because they had twin towers. However, Irving and Doncic are not pick and roll players, they are scorers from perimeter, and I think it would be quite possible for them to get a win. However, Wolves showed that their defense is so great that they could actually stop anyone, and I believe that we are going to really see them do quite well on offense as well.

It was a big shocker for me to see Wolves win, ANT really plays like a superstar, I did not expect him to be this good. The trio of Gobert-KAT-Ant ends up being something special out of nowhere, at the start of the season nobody would have guessed this.

Well i fell sleep yesterday and i really think Denver was gonna win the last seven amtch against Minnesota Timberwolves, because they were winning in the early stages of the game and i think, well they recover their memory and are gonna be again the conference finals. Nothing of that happen when i wake up today i see they lost.

I was sort of in the same boat.  At halftime it looked like Minnesota was done.  Denver was abusing them and the score showed it.  So I went out with some friends for a bit.  When I checked my phone the Timberwolves were up by 8!  I was like, holy shit!  I had to rewatch what happened when I got home.  Amazing game.  It lived up to the hype.  The two best teams in the NBA and didn't disappoint.  I'm already looking forward to seeing them match up next year.

I watch the match. It seems like Denver celebrated too early and they become over confident that Minnesota is already done. You can look on the stats of Nuggets player that only Murray and Jokic are trying stop them on 3rd quarter while the rest is just doing their shitty defense and worthless shot because they can’t get enough space to shot properly probably because they are too intimidated with Wolves defender.

The odds of Minnesota skyrocketed during the 2nd quarter when they are being dominated by Nuggets. I didn’t manage to bet because I’m busy watching but thise who bet live get a solid win.
