^^ Yes I do agree, but they have dig themselves deeper in this playoff, and they are going to face a top seed entering the playoffs. So it will be a different Lakers from last year, now they don't have the luxury of home court, and they are going to fight every game.

Hope James can go back pre-injury, posting good numbers like what we are seeing in Kevin Durant. But he needs more games to adjust and they to win to give themselves some confidence going into the playoffs.

Winning the next games will be the most important for them and they cannot slack with these upcoming games since they are already washed to the shore. The rest of the teams in the play-in method would eager to get to their current spot and that's if they let it happened. Their last 8 games will be against a contender team especially Phoenix Suns. they should get everything done this time if they don't want to devastatingly miss this playoff again.

Lakers will not missed the playoffs, I'm sure with that, but I'm worried they will not advance in the NBA Finals as there's a lot of good teams in the West now, Jazz and Suns have already improved, also we have the Denver Nuggets who keep winning even if they loss Murray.

Last year has no home court as they play on one court only, that's the bubble set up if you still remember.
Lakers will not or might get the home-court advantage, depending on how they will handle the remaining games, there's still a chance IMO.

Hope James can go back pre-injury, posting good numbers like what we are seeing in Kevin Durant. But he needs more games to adjust and they to win to give themselves some confidence going into the playoffs.
There's no problem with James, it's the chemistry now that is actually the problem, they added Drummond in their rotation, and they are so big, I guess that's what their opponents are seeing, they are beating the Lakers on speed.

Hi guys, I've been away for a while and that's why I'm out of date with NBA news.

I saw, LeBron James and AD went back to playing. Any news from players who are injured?
Any news from teams and players?
Thanks
Lakers Schroder is away due to health protocol.
Jamal Murray of the Nuggets will be out the whole season. Torn ACL
Others are listed here. https://www.cbssports.com/nba/injuries/

Lakers unable to win despite the Raptors lack of role players playing.
There's just no chemistry unlike last year. Defense is also not there and turnovers are soaring.
What could be missing in this team? AD and James are back but it got worse. I don't think Schroder could also fix it.
Did they become comfortable just because they already gained a championship? I can't see any spark at all.

I think it's more of the chemistry of the team, newly acquired players are not perfectly fitting the puzzle that Rondo, Howard, Danny Green and Javale used to play in their championship run.

Plus AD and Lebron got injured, that could really change the complexion and the mentally of the players. And I would say that they should be in the panic mood right now, because their next games are going to be hard for them as they are going to face the best of the West and East.

I think its more of the injury that AD first and then Lebron that really break down the Lakers this season.

Those new guys have started to fit nicely specially Dennis Schröder, but Gasol, not that much. But when their two top stars got injured, no one really step up their game, I would say that Kuzma was somewhat a disappointment. Andre Drummond try his best, but was also suffering from hamstring injury. So it's a combination of factors that's why we don't see any spark late in the season.

Let them do the adjustment, Lebron just came back from injury, so he is still making an adjustment on how to get back to his usual. Lebron's stats have dropped, was supposedly a triple-double man, but his numbers are down lately. But don't worry, they are still not out in the playoffs, once they're in, they are still the same LA Lakers we witnessed last season.

Nets have no answers to The Greek Freak, if Jordan will depend like that in the playoffs if they face in the east finals then its the bucks who will be in the finals, taunting Giannis to take the shot wide open is like making him in the practice mode, also sloppy underneath the basket, he is eaten alive by Giannis, also Middleton and the supporting cast of the bucks help them with the win, total Dominance by the bucks and Giannis.
Yes, that's there biggest mistakes in this game, they let Giannis shoot outside, give him some boost of confidence and when it's time to penetrate, automatic two points for him, plus he did some good defense as well.

And then we have their number two scorer, Middleton to help out just in case to seal the victory for them. Holiday also did a terrific job on Kyrie, and then he even post up him one on one and score some baskets and then 3's when he is open.

It's indeed a good win for the Bucks. Nets are rolling lately since KD's return and it's quite nice to see the Bucks being a threat out there with the leadership of Giannis. The Jrue Holiday acquisition is so underrated because it gives the Bucks more options for a penetrator/shot creator to pass the ball to other than Middleton down the stretch. The structure of this team just removes pressure out of Giannis' shoulder compared to last year's.

For the Nets, I know they can score at will whenever they want to. Kyrie and Harden are microwaves scorers, Durant will always get his numbers. This is huge for the Bucks knowing they beat the Nets even if Durant got his 42 pts.

Big win by the Bucks. It's a battle between Giannis and Durant, but Giannis won this time.

Giannis made "49 points and 8 rebounds, while Durant had 42 points and 10 rebounds.
This was an entertaining game, I thought this looks like an ECF finals scenario.

Ya, that was a great battle down the stretch. I love to see it. Giannis keeps getting better and better at shooting and Durant looked to be back in pre-injury form. Middleton came up big down the stretch too. I think Harden probably would’ve made the difference in this game, but we’ll see come playoff time.

Blake Griffin had a massive putback slam that really made you wonder what was going on with him in Detroit.

Yeah, DeAndre Jordan dare Giannis to take that long shots and he made him pay by hitting a 3's. Durant is really back pre-injury, single coverage? nah, doesn't work as he can pull that elbow shot anytime of the day. It's like when he was playing with Golden State, it's a beauty to see him making those shots.

This is like playoff games already, and good win for the Bucks.

You know what makes me like Luka so much? Dude doesn't look like he cares about anything outside of the court when he is playing. We all know all the drama in the world of basketball, we all know that players sometimes hate each other, or hate their coaches, hate the front office, trading requests, forced waviers to basically fire players, management doing bad things to players, players doing bad things to management, it is always like that.

However one thing is for sure, we are talking about a player that cares none of that. When luka is playing, he is smiling, he is happy, he is enjoying, he doesn't care about anything else, he just cares about the ball and the hoop and everything else is out of his mind, or maybe he looks like that at least. That is what I like about him, dude just loves the game so much and he wants to play it.

I also noticed that he doesn't feel that he is a superstar and he looks so humble. He trusts his teammates and his teammates look up to him so they build good chemistry. This is the Dallas roster that I believe will have a chance to win a championship this season, they are just underrated but they are showing some serious threat to whatever team they are facing.

Lakers are also on the edge to be pushed to 7th position which is not a good thing when AD and Lebron just came back. They will need that rest before the playoffs to fully heal and have their A game.

Davis and Lebron were absent for a very long time, and I guess they have had enough rest. Sure, AD and LJ need to play some more matches to adapt after injuries, but these guys don't have much time for this, considering that only nine games left until the end of the regular season.

That's why there back is against the wall for now, they have to win every remaining games just to stay in the spot the problem is their next 6 games is against a very tough teams.

vs Raptors
vs Nuggets
vs Clippers
vs Portland
vs Suns
vs Knicks

Ouch!, except for Toronto, the rest are high caliber teams. So imagine what's going on Lebron's mind right now.

That's not gonna be a big problem when LeBron gets back to his groove and finds his rhythm. He could lead his team to get a few more wins to secure the 5th spot and we'll have to witness the Battle of LA in the first round If the Clippers sustain their current position lol.

I honestly don't worry much for the Lakers right now. They'll make it to the playoffs no matter what.

Lakers will be a tough opponent moving to the next round, those remaining games seems difficult as
LeBron and AD still coping and trying to condition their games.,

But with them after the next round will be another story as they are one of those few super team inside the league once they are
all healthy and they are playing as one, it's very difficult to beat this team, not even you have the advantage.

Knowing LeBron as contender he'll still going to surprise the fans. Chasing for back to back still alive as the league continue, healthy
Lakers means back to business to defend the crown.

There is gonna be a big fight between Mavericks, Lakers and Blazers. But not for 5th spot, since Nuggets and Clippers are about the same opponent but a fight to not end on 7th spot and play in play in. Grizzlies, Warriors and Spurs are gonna be tough opponents in west conference play in.

Just realized that the play-in this season is different from last season.

Last year, it's only the Spot 8 that needs to go through play-in.

Game 1:
The No. 7 team in the standings by winning percentage will host the No. 8 team, with the winner earning the No. 7 seed in the playoffs. The losing team gets another chance in Game 3.

Game 2:
The No. 9 team will host the No. 10 team, with the winner moving on to Game 3. The loser is eliminated and enters the NBA draft lottery.

Game 3:
The loser of the No. 7 vs. No. 8 matchup will host the winner of the No. 9 vs. No. 10 matchup, with the victor grabbing the No. 8 seed in the postseason. The loser of Game 3 also enters the lottery.
