NBA power ranking report.

*Keep in mind that our Power Rankings are based on the team's performance the previous week, not the entire season.

1, Nets
2. Jazz
3. Bucks
4. Clippers
5. 76ers
6. Suns
7. Nuggets
8. Trail Blazers
9. LA Lakers
10. Mavericks.

I only take the top 10 in the ranking. Liking the Jazz and Nets as they stay consistent, whiel 76ers also have some great performance despite missing Embiid.

Nets have been great for many weeks that's for sure. LA Lakers have been playing without Lebron for some time and it affects them really badly. Jazz actually have the best form in the recent times as they have a 7-win streak which is really awesome.

Yeah, I watched the 76ers a lot of times trying to analyze how they can still win the game without Embiid.
There is actually a simple answer. The floor had been spread more unlike last year.

With Danny Green and Seth Curry being a threat in the 3 point field, Harris and Simmons can move freely and attack the paint.
Howard stats is the best product at 18 points and 15 rebounds against the Cavs. This team is for sure a championship contender, better than how they are against the Raptors losing at the lucky shot of Kawhi.

Well, the Sixers could've a shot at the NBA finals this year If the Nets didn't modified their roster into a more stronger line up.
They (Sixers) have a good player rotation even If Embid misses a few games and I was ready betting at them all the way to the ECF. Everything's changed when the Nets are obviously trying to have an easy way to get a ring.
Anyway, the Bucks, Heat, and the Sixers have still their shot at defeating the very stacked Nets team.
This season isn't a good season by the way, because of the injuries.
I agree I want to see the nets go through a 7 game series, if it's going to be a sweep every series then its safe to say that no team can beat them in the east and can also walk out the finals champion, but with the west being so loaded will be more challenging to them, but if the sixers are healthy they are the only team that can stop the nets, I want healthy nets and opponent for them so there will be no excuses, although they have higher chances now to win it all.
It looks like Nets are the most favored team now to win, no team can beat them in the East, and even the current Lakers line up, people still think that a healthy Nets will dominate them. I hope they are wrong, I like to see a good match up in the East and the West and does not like the Nets to dominate in the East, at least take it to game 6 or 7.

I'm impressed with Gordon, it was a good decision by the Nuggets to acquire him, ever since he started playing, Nuggets have not loss a single game yet. On this game (Nuggets vs Clippers), Gordon scored 14 points only but had 6 assists and 3 steals, I guess that's good enough and he was really enjoying with how the way he is playing.
But that is not his real highlights. Trying to stop Kawhi Leonard was his role and he accomplished it quite well.
It's not an easy task and despite that Leonard (24 points) still keeps on making offensive attacks that is not easy to defend.
In my opinion, they expanded their defensive line now rather than having Gary Harris which is smaller.
Nuggets now have the size and speed to top against any team in defensive strategies.
Their deal to trade Harris is a win to upgrade their roster.
I agree, that was really his rule and with his size and quickness, he can guard anyone in the league, I think he can also guard Lebron James. Gordon was a star player in his previous team, but he knows his role with the Nuggets and with his new role, he is not prone to injury as Nuggets are a team that loves everyone to get involve, hence the minutes are properly manage.

They really looked improve with him, he is not making points like 20 to 30 points but his contribution in the floor does not destroy the chemistry of a team. I'm sure Nuggets are happy with the result because their expectation has come into reality.

Aaron Gordon, Nuggets believe they can be an upgrade for each other

I will never count out LeBron, but he’s gonna need to do something special to take down this Nets team. Aldridge went off in his debut tonight with a nice little streak early on. His teammates were stoked. If he’s playing like this and Durant comes back healthy, they’re the best team ever.

How about Magic winning against the Pelicans? Yeah, Zion W. and Brandon Ingram didn't play, but it was really a tight match and good game that it went into overtime. I thought that Pelicans has a good chance to take this W, but Magic, after Aaron Gordon's trade has been winning very close and tough matches.
I'm surprise that they won against the Pelicans, but knowing the star players did not play, I'm not now.

Miami takes the win against GSW, although Curry hits two consecutive 3's and make coach Spoelstra nervous. Miami on a 3 game winning streak, and just a shy above the .500 mark with 25-24. Don't know if they can repeat last year's performance as the East team are bunch and it's very close, Nets, 76ers and Bucks leading the Eastern Conference.

Miami will come back, hopefully and GSW needs to start winning again, they can't be out of the playoff race if they want to have a chance to be in the playoffs this season, curry their main man has to be healthy for them to succeed even at a lower ranking as long as its a playoffs rank.
lots of competition in the west, unlike the east that is wide open, west with the rise of the jazz and also with clippers and lakers with Dallas slowly going up, the golden state will have a hard time although they might make it, I think they should not push too hard since they all want to be healthy once Klay return, I think they will not make it this year if they did even make it, they will be eliminated in the first round.

The Miami Heat, with a record of 24-24, are 12-12 at home, 12-12 on the road, 5-5 in their division, 15-15 vs the East, and 9-9 vs the West. I mean, that's kinda funny when you look at the stats. However, they are 0-4 in OT. Heat have got balance in all things.

Nice stats, good thing you notice that one... I have not notice it anymore because what I notice with the Heat is their inconsistency this season, they have some long losing streak, win some games and then will loss again.

I agree, they are very inconsistent, they are games that it's winnable for them, unfortunately, they forgot to close it and let the game slip away specially in the 4th quarter. Although some of their losses, the team is not complete. But with Jimmy back in the line up, I do hope that they will regain their form from last year.

Nice catch on the stats though.
Even with the fact that the Miami Heat had been inconsistent with their games they are still ranked 5 in the East.
They are not safe though as Knicks and Hawks are just 1 win away from them.
Keeping that position is crucial. They don't want to be in the play-in tournament and still have the same inconsistency while playing for teams that are on the lower seeds.
Ranks 9 and 10 will do everything to have a shot for the playoffs.

This season we are only seeing few bad teams, hence the competition is tighter and teams that has not been in the playoffs for a while might be in the playoffs this season. In the east, only Detroit Pistons has a very poor chance of qualifying in the playoffs, while in the West, Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves might not be able to make it this season.

I believe its not serious but fans are just disappointed that they are not gonna see Drummond help the Lakers while Lebron and Davis is out. We have no updated news yet, we will continue to monitor the situation, hopefully nothing really serious when the next update will come out.
Drummond said that he got an injury in the first quarter. So, his injury doesn't look serious, considering that he was able to play until the 3rd quarter. It's worth noting that the Lakers already announced that x-rays of his toe were negative, and I guess he will miss two or three upcoming games.
They should let him rest and prepare for games that are needed since they can enter the playoffs, that's the most important thing, they just need to secure it, and make a run there, they should have let him rest for a while, that's too much excitement on the lakers front office and coaching staff, that's the mistake all teams do, over excited, let him rest for a while to adjust.
Drummond is a valuable asset on the Lakers, they cannot just risk him if he is feeling some injury, a rest is important but what matters is they also watch their standing and just ensure they will be in the playoffs, Lakers rank at the last spot does not make any difference them rank at first, they will still beat any opponent in the first round.

Good enough just to ensure that he'll be there when LeBron and AD are both healthy.

They've got a tough competitions to beat in the west before meeting whoever contender from the east, Drummond can bring them
the help. With the healhty Lakers, this team still competitive and hard to beat when they are all playing solid and in good conditions.
