....I think this is the dumbest thing he could ever do with his NBA career unless he has someone who gonna pay him more to change to another team after the end of his current contract.
You think you know better? These athletes have agents that handles all matters related to the business side of basketball. I bet he got an advice before turning down the offer.

He's not that young anymore so he may as well take full advantage of the chance to maximize his earnings while he's still able to produce double figures even from the bench.

A player could turn down that offer if they themselves know that other teams can offer bigger than what the Lakers are offering. It's a business, they have agent who knows their market value and it seems they are thinking that he is worth more than what the Lakers have offered.

Yes, any player can turn down offers specially if they feel that they are being low ball. We have seen this in the past. As for Lowry trade, it's a good decision by the Lakers not to acquire him. He is already 35 years old and way past his prime. Maybe they could get someone later, at a cheap price and developed that player.

They don't need another scorer as the current squad got a lots of talents who can provide what Lowry may add.

Agree that they can acquire other young star, player who are capable of adjusting while Lebron and AD still dominating this team, for now
with a healthy lineup they are still a team to beat.

And with Drummond addition, he can provide quality minutes to help both offense and defense.

Shroder is a natural point guard, he maybe thought that he cannot maximize his real talent because they have Lebron James who are playing the point guard position. Maybe this is the best chance for the Lakers to acquire Lowly in exchange for Schroder if this is possible before he will be free agent.

What do you think about Gobert, Mitchell and Clarkson? as I'm telling, they cannot just underestimate this team. They might look not so strong but they're proving themselves.

But yeah, being #1 at the standings doesn't mean that they'll be the champion but, the reason why they're on the top because they're playing well.
No doubt. Chemistry wise, you cannot fool around when it is the Jazz you are up against.
These teams are the contenders against a strong Nets if ever they will meet in the Finals.

They already show how good their chemistry each and they know whats their role to the team so I conclude that Jazz will still win eventhough Nets have superteam, Chemistry is so important to win the champ and we don't see yet on how the 5 stars click one team so maybe lets see on how the ball rotate when 5 of them plays on the hardcourt.

I'll look forward to that, Nets is a superteam, so they'll probably play better in the playoffs. Jazz are good in the regular season but they will be tested in the playoffs, like what happen to them in the last playoffs where they allow the Nuggets to come back from 1-3 deficit, hopefully it will not happen anymore so their good start will also have a good finish.

Nuggets also fortified their roster signing in Aaron Gordon.
Suns also have a lot of chance if Ayton will heighten his level of being a center. It's just not enough yet.
Then there's Celtics, Bucks and Heat.

They may not be filled with Top 20 superstars but they can give a good fight when the ring is on the line.

Nuggets winning again, in the game against the 76ers ,Gordon only scored 6 points but an efficient shooting. He is still adjusting but for sure in the long run the chemistry will be better and what matters is the Nuggets keeps winning.

Utah Jazz got another win this time against Cavs and they really destroyed them with a great 114-75 result.

Now they have a 6-win streak. Jazz continue to surprise people by their awesome performance and they are still leading their conference. I wonder whether they will manage to keep up this form in playoff games also.
They will manage to maintain it.

Their roster is strong and is just silently winning games. Unlike the other news that we're getting about transfers, they really are strong.

But cannot underestimate the strength of Jazz and they're showing what they can do.

Are they strong enough to beat those heavy favorite from the west?

They are in the top spot right now but knowing LeBron and Kawhai are both playing from this side, both Superstars are good leaders.
But to credit Jazz now, they are really maturing they continue beating teams and they are playing really solid sharing the court with
each other.
They can.

I like the positivity, I don't know why others are not talking about Jazz on championship, they are really an underrated team now and I think they might surprise the Lakers and even the Clippers, they have been playing with good teamwork, everyone is contributing and they seemed to be always in the proper rhythm when playing.

Gobert becomes more dominant under the paint. He improved this season.

Maybe that Shaq's trashtalk about him before really pays off.

That might be Gobert's inspiration and he wants to show everyone that he deserves his current contract of 4 yrs / $102,000,000 with the Utah Jazz.  Cheesy

Probably he was really inspired with this huge contract he got from Utah that's why he is really performing very well. Plus the chemistry with the team, as he was more of a recipient of good pass resulting in a dunk. And then his defensive presence inside, he can block and chance shots.

He is really on his prime right now and other center out there will have a hard time playing against him. He doesn't look physical, but he has more basketball IQ playing as center as compare to others.

Russell Westbrook with his 158th triple double while the game is still on with the Hornets. 3 game triple double streak.
It's just 3rd quarter and yet he already made some huge stats. 16-10-11.
He might break big "O"s 181 career triple double this season if this keeps up.

Unfortunately, they have lost to the Hornets, Rozier again playing clutch, scoring the last 7 out of 9 points in the last 2 minutes.

And Russell Westbrook can still dunk, I think in the last 30 seconds he has a monster dunk, reminiscent when he was at his prime dunking all over people.

Nuggets leading the 76ers in the halftime, 68-45.

Yes, everyone knows... LeBron James makes a LOT of difference in the team, and he is one of the most experienced players in the league!

Although Drummond is a little short for his position, but he is very dominant in the painted part of the court, and can get several rebounds

He has a very impressive stats, averaging 17 ppg and 13.5 TRB.. I think that will scare the other teams.
Drummond has finally found a championship team and he is expected to perform his best to help the Lakers in a back to back championship.

I'm sure Lebron is so happy now.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/d/drumman01.html
Yes, exactly!! We are almost sure that the NBA "finals" will be between Nets and Lakers if they find themselves in a possible WCF lol
Drummond is "only" 6-10 tall, imagine if he was 7ft or 7-1, he would be unstoppable!

I'm anxious to seeing the Nets and Lakers playing with their complete squad.

Their next match is April 11, so it's like two weeks from now. Hopefully that time we might see Lakers playing Drummond already, not sure if Lebron or Davis will be available that time. On the Nets side, maybe Kyrie is already playing as well.

So we will see, I think it will be one of the most anticipated match specially if those injured are playing by that time.
Well minded, I think Drummond will be able to debut for Lakers, but I don't know if AD or LeBron will play again, as they are "key players" in the Lakers and they will probably only come back when they are 100% healthy.

Great news.
We will just need to wait for Davis and Lebron to come back.
Once they did, they might make it again at the top.
I believe that they can come back again at the top. Changes after one team and its roster is always the exciting part and with Drummond being in the Lakers, I saw that many were happy with his newfound home.

There's always a big doubt about Lebron for some fans and here we are those fans that always trusted him. But that's the question that we have to see once this season ends if they'll be able to defend their title.

There still a lot of games in current season and the fight for the top seed on Western conference is very close. I'm sure that they can get it once the LBJ and AD came back. IMHO, they will not target to get the top seed this season considering that the Big 2 is still injured. They will just make it into the playoffs since Championship is more important to them.
I'm also counting on it that they'll be able to overcome those games that they've lost and get more wins.

Yeah, they only need to get to the playoffs and I think but what I've said about being at the top again, that's after the finals. There's still a lot to be seen from them and other teams are also exciting to follow.

Now that the trades are done, we'll be able to see the true potential of each team.
I think there will be no problem since the playoff is played into 7 games so, no matter if you're at 8th or top seed, it will come to who will have 4 wins at the end of the series, LeBron already played those type of games and I think that will help his team with the experience of Lebron James, and they believed that if they have lebron they can win it all, that is what matters if your teammates trust you.

Later, Suns vs Hawks.
They had been winning a lot lately making sure they won't be in the play-in tournament and last year won't happen again.

76ers and Jazz

We can't deny that these teams are also good and that proves them because they're both top 1 in standings for the west and east.

Utah Jazz is playing differently this season and I hope the same goes for playoffs as well.

Even they are dominating the current standing, these teams now become out of the picture for the Final's contention because of the Nets and Lakers. I don't see 76ers can handle the Nets in the ECF but Jazz might handle the Lakers on WCF and even the Nets in the Finals.

Well, let's not forget about the Clippers and the Nuggets. As these both teams have two great addition. Rondo to Clippers and Aaron Gordon to the Nuggets. Remember how the Nuggets beat them in the playoffs with almost the same line up down 3-1.
The real strength of the Utah Jazz will be tested in the playoffs. Some people compared them to the 2015 Atlanta Hawks who dominated the East but didn't reach the finals.
Can't wait for the playoffs though.
