Yeah, he fought really well but after some point he can't carry the team only by himself. Minnesota need to sign new players if they want to have good results and qualify for playoffs.
They do need help. Even with his bestfriend D'Angelo Russell healthy it won't be enough.
There will always be instances that one of them could get injured. Twolves needs back up roleplayers who will fill their spots if ever bad things comes.

Nuggets. I really thought they are going to lose that game.
That was x11 for Orlando Magic on the moneyline. Gordon and Porter Jr did their job smoothly to avoid breaking the streak. (5)
3rd quarter was their best making runs and when Jokic starts putting assists in his stats. I think that was 8 for just the 3rd quarter.  Roll Eyes

More struggle for the Lakers, it's expected because no Lebron and Davis, these 2 are briging success to the team hence the absence means the team is in trouble. They will go down in standing, that's again understandable but hopefully they'll rise back as the 2 will get back healthy again.

The Los Angeles Lakers are now down to the top 5 in the western conference and this is not good for them at all because their competitors below them are only a few winning games away to steal their position. the season has already reached more than half of its total games. they really need to get back on the track again, if they don't want to mess up this season by competing just to get to the 8th seed of the NBA playoffs.

being in the middle of the pack is not bad after all, it means they are still at the top 8, and they don't have the 3-star players, which means its a bad sign for those who are targeting a spot, its okay for me if they are in the 8th spot, that's a dangerous position for the top seed, as we know, jazz is also a hot team a few years back and they were eliminated, but yes that also not a quite spot for a defending champion.

Any updates on Harden's injury?

I am saddened about what happened, I confess that lately he was playing well.

I think this is one of the main obstacles for you to have several all-star players in your team, if a player gets hurt, the team misses him, so I think it's interesting the team have good reserves to compensate that player's is injured
There's a benefit also with superstars playing with roleplayers.
They are learning more on skills and strategies of how this players move. a possibility of applying it in game is high.

James Harden - hamstring tightness.
Quote
Harden (hamstring) underwent an MRI on Thursday and it came back clean, Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports.

It's good news for Harden as it doesn't look as if he'll have to miss too many more games, if any, due to tightness in his right hamstring. Coach Steve Nash said Harden is feeling "pretty good," which is another indicator that the injury isn't too serious. The team's next game comes Sunday at Chicago, so it's conceivable that Harden could return for that one.
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/players/playerpage/1685255/james-harden

I won't worry much about their performance. They are still packed with good players that would fill Harden's role.

Thanks for this information @danherbias07
Thankfully, it was nothing too serious and he will soon be able to play again!

I think it is interesting for you to alternate the bank players and holders so that they are more in tune, if an allstar hurts, you can have a bank player to be able to "replace" "

These might be their wildest year because of their new roster but if they will stay healthy in the next years and will stay intact, A back-to-back championship for them might happen.

Looking at their superstar's contract, their core lineup currently will be different next season. If I'm not mistaken, it's either Kyrie or Durant that has a Player Option after this year's season.

Basically, the future of Nets next season will depend on the outcome of their rally this year that's why they do everything to the fullest as they already know what will happen to their roster if they fail to win a championship this year. They are the most FAVORITES to win the championship but living behind a big expectation is a big pressure.
Very a big pressure specially if they do know that lots had been expecting for them to win the ring for this season. When it comes to roster change then it is likely to happen
if they wouldnt able to snatch out the championship for this year and if we do consider out the current roster which is really a hard one to beat or shall we say that it is
almost perfect but we know that injuries and other possible factors could really affect the entire situation.
The Kyrie-Durant-Harden Trio are like the James-Wade-Bosh back when the Heat still got this trio. The pressure for them is high since many are expecting for them to win a championship. On the first year, they didn't win but on the next year IIRC, they already won.

They are the bets of winning the championship now and the future of the team really depends on the season. Coach Nash really is holding the most pressure here and take note, this is his first year as a coach and he is assigned to what we can consider now as a super team Cheesy. The current roster of the Nets right now really is hard to beat "ONLY" if all of them are healthy. Their trio has a history of injuries already and Griffin also has. If one or 2 of them are injured at either at the end of the regular season or at the playoffs, the chances of them winning will drop significantly.

Yeah, everything hinge on this season alone, that's why the management really took a risk in putting a lot of money getting Harden, so it's a gamble that they are willing to take and then see what's going to happen. If no championship or at least a trip to the finals, hmmm, we might see some finger pointing and probably some heads are going to roll.

That's true! the pressure are everywhere after building this super team. If they failed to take the title for sure this franchise will have a big
changes in terms of team selections, they've got a lots of expectations after forming the first trio then adding Griffin and Aldridge adds up
for more fans and speculators.

They just need to take this then slowly keep the rhythm who knows if they dwell very well, might be another grand slam team in the making.

If they failed to win the chamipionship but they will be in the championship game, I guess we will see the same roster by next season, unless they end up not winning the ECF, then we can say that the roster did not work, but everyone is expecting them, their journey in the East would be easier compared to winning a championship although they will still be the favorites to win.

People are talking about how Nets played as a proof that they will be the best team in the league with these additions.
I have to say by that logic Suns is the second best team in the western conference, while Nets is second on the east, does that make sense to you?

Nobody talks about how Suns is second in the rankings at western conference and has the same amount of wins as Nets while having one less loss as well, do you think that makes Suns a better team than Nets? Nobody thinks that, we all know suns will not be nowhere this good when playoffs comes and they will not fight for a title at all, they will lose either first or second round. Which means Nets may not be as good as we all think, sure they are good with a lot of superstars but remember we called many teams superstar filled and they ended up losing as well, just because you have good players doesn't mean you will win.

76ers had a great game against Timberwolves last night. Embiid is back and he played very nicely (24 PTS, 8 REB, 2 AST).

But the player of the game was K. Towns, I think. He played superbly but it wasn't enough for his team to be winner in this game (39 PTS, 14 REB, 5 AST).
Player of the game from a losing team, anyway it's good to see him slowly getting back to his old self, that's what he can do to a team, it's just that Timberwolves had a bad roster this season, they'll miss the playoffs again so no pressure on him.

Nothing to expect from this team now, they are already behind might get an early rest as the team is not as competitive like before.

After Wiggins left this team I never see them as a competitive team KAT have that stats but not enough to carry the whole team, it's best for him to find a good franchise if he's still aiming to win a title.

Otherwise, there's no pressure just to keep collecting his paycheck from time to time.

There will be no "next years" if they go out early in the playoffs of lose badly in the finals with all three all stars playing healthy. There is a huge pressure on Steve Nash to win the title this season or finish fighting strong in case injuries will hinder their title run. They probably have two seasons to become NBA champions. They will be "disbanded" if they fail within that period.

With all of the problems they are facing right now, they managed to get the top 3 spot as of this moment.

A brand new coach?? Maybe but lets not underestimate Coach Steve Nash. Yes he is just a new coach and now he is coaching a bunch of an superstar players and has a 41 total all-star appearances but we are seeing that he is capable of coaching them right? Chemistry is the one that they are lacking probably but that will change overtime the next games go by. The acquisition of these all star players put them as a candidate for winning the championship alongside Lakers. These might be their wildest year because of their new roster but if they will stay healthy in the next years and will stay intact, A back-to-back championship for them might happen.
Steve Nash IS a brand new coach, it's his first season, he has MDA and Ime Udoka, Mike D'Antoni is already well known himself enough but Ime Udoka learned coaching from Greg Pop, arguably one of the best coaches that ever coached the game. So, I have to say I think it is not going to be that simple for people that are awaiting to fail and yes Steve Nash has all the help he could ever hope for.

However no matter how great the situation looks, he can't be as good this year as he would be in his 20th year, of course players matter but coaches matter a lot as well. I think if everyone is 100% healthy during playoffs they have the biggest chance to win the title for sure, and if everyone plays like they are all friends and alike with a good chemistry they could literally bulldoze their way into championship. However I have two problems with that, one is the fact that they may have a lot of injuries even during that time, the second is the fact that they may have chemistry issues, Irving always had one anyway, so I think that could be quite difficult to handle.

Being able to win only 12 out of 50 games is really terrible for them. K. Towns is a really great player and making a great effort for the team to get wins. But like you said, their roster is not good enough to qualify for playoffs.

Don't think, he is the player of the game.
He rattled the coaching staff of 76ers and made them call back the main players.
He showed effort and great performance for not giving up. But he was fouled out before the game ends.

Klay should not play this season even if he can, at the same time limit Steph playing time, as preparation for next years campaign, it will be worthless if you let him play with high minutes in the court if you want those two to compete for 100% next year, a wing and a center also is needed, Draymond need a partner under the basket, for me GSW should just tank this year.
That's true about Klay. But, Curry is an exception. Injury is his only escape and he needs to play every game that he can.
He was paid for that and fans are also expecting to watch him every game as long as he is healthy.
Load management will make him lose those fans.

Next to watch is Brooklyn's big 3 playing together.

With this good update, Nets’ Kevin Durant is close to returning from hamstring injury

That means we will see him soon.. actually it looks like people does not miss him because Nets did not struggle with his absence, but of course, we still want to see a complete line up of the Nets, specially the big 3 and we will see them soon.

Finally, that's very good news! Nets have been doing great even without him. But things will be so much better for them after KD's return. I can't wait to see KD, Irving and Harden playing together in the coming games. If we see a nice team play, I think there will be really no team that can stand in their way. Their toughest opponent is Lakers and they can actually give them a hard time. But my favourite for the championship is still Nets.

Yes, that was really a good news, with KD back, Nets will be stronger.

76ers already had Embiid back, his first game back against the Minnesota Timberwolves was a winner, he tallied 24 points and 3 blocks that block is huge, means he is healthy because he can play a good defense.

76ers also back in the number 1 spot, despite a 1 score with Nets _ https://ph.global.nba.com/standings/
