I would like to congratulate the Houston Rockets for finally winning a game, and the good thing is its against the Warriors.
Meanwhile, Hornets did a great job by winning the game against the spurs, that's without Ball, I thought they'll struggle but I was wrong.

Finally, the Houston Rockets has got their first win since losing 20 straight games. This is a huge loss for them since they are some team who keep appearing in the playoff now they are likely to stay in that position until the end of this season. If their players won't improve by the next season, then they will gonna stay in that spot in the next season as well.
I watched the whole game and all I could say is the win comes from their effort in the defensive end.
Raptors had been shooting a lot outside that looks like a good one but no, someone from the Rockets will still run back to defense and mess up the shot.
Then, without a Raptor center everything is easy for Christian Wood to shoot the ball. Wall abused that fact and used the switch play for a lot of times.
Bench players also made their contribution. They suddenly looked like a team at that point.

The same issue now haunts LeBron as his MVP award is now in jeopardy. It would be a shame if these injuries kept LaMelo from the ROTY and LeBron from the MVP and it looks like they very well may. Both will have to come back healthy before the end of the season and put in some work to get their just rewards.

The same happened when Zion got injured and rested for long which is expected to be the ROTY on that season.

For LeBron James, not just his MVP award is in jeopardy but the opportunity for him to be the All-Time point leader will extend time too. Currently, if he's not injured, he should play all games with an average of 27 PPG. If my math is correct he needs 2 seasons more to beat Kareem's record and he will be 38 at that time on which almost close to retirement age. But since he got injured, the progress is now stopped for now.

Ya, LeBron definitely wants to be out there for the numbers and his legacy. I think he’s gonna stick around another 3 years and maybe longer if his son makes the NBA, which is looking like a possibility. I’d like to see him get 10K assists & 10K rebounds to go with 40K points before it’s all over.

Just sad though that we have seen Lebron James and now Ball get's injured as we enter the playoffs. For sure we will see that their teams are going to be affected, specially Lakers.
Yeah, part of the physical game. Sh*t happens.
Lebron's injury may not take so much time though as it was said that there's no fracture in it.
3-4 weeks should be enough.

LaMelo's injury is worse. Fractured wrists? That's like your everything when you are playing basketball and it's damn broken.
I had been watching all the Hornets game recently because of this guy to witness his unique skills.
It may be part of the game but it's just upsetting to see a kid having a good start and then being paused midway.  Cry

Good thing for Charlotte they've managed to win against the Spurs.

Very close but good thing that Hayward and Rozier both excel to lift up the entire team, I lose this one as I bet for Spurs after that sad news for Ball but he's been covered by his team and Charlotte manage the win. Keeping their chance to the next round, bit for sure Ball absence is really tough for them as he's been performing very well, lets hope for his quick recovery.

Knicks got to nab this game from the sixers tonight, with embid out its there is a good shot at a quality win over a team in the East.

Good chance for the Knicks to win against the Sixers but honestly I would not bet on this game, I realized that despite the absence of Embiid, Sixers are still winning and they are 3-1 in their last 4 games without Embiid including a win against the knicks (99-96).
Lakers.

Yeah sixers are a good team without him too so its definately going to be a good game, hopefully the knicks can be on the right side of the score.  They need get a decent string of wins together.  That 7-8-9 spot in the East is going to be a battle between a ton of teams.

Rough game.  Terrible ending too, first with the foul that the refs wouldn't let thibs challenge, and then on the other side Randall's shot that went in and out.  Shame that would have been a solid win.

Knicks is still unlucky, last time they played it's also a close game and they lose, same scenario happen in that game.

I did not bet on this game but I was thinking of betting the under as they really played with great defense.
However, despite of the loss, I still believe that Knicks are an improved team now, losing 1 to 2 points in a close game is alright, playoffs will come and if they are lucky to be qualified then we should be seeing more fun.

Right, I was trying to bet on a time, live betting, unfortunately I wasn't quick enough as it was suddenly close, was kicking myself when it went into overtime. But I still have chances to win, I have Knicks winning, but unfortunately, it went in and out, just terrible, it could really be a solid win as the Knicks are playing good basketball with Randall leading the team.

Boston's Tatum, not feeling well, so he decided not to play today.

Celtics are hanging, end of second quarter with a 5 point lead cushion.

I remember, I have a card collections of NBA stars when I was still young, and I guess I have a collection of his picture too.

RIP to the legend Elgin Baylor. I have a big NBA card collection too, I guess I have a couple of his cards, not autographed though.
He was old enough that I can't see him on the court, even my father couldn't see because there were no TV rights in our country back then. It's sucks he didn't get a ring because of that Celtics domination though he's still a legend.

Continuing the topic, I am hoping that both will recover soon, but it seems that LaMelo's injury was a little bit serious!
He's young, there are great possibilities for him to recover soon.
And yes, well minded, LeBron James is also in the "race" for the MVP of the regular season, I'm hoping he'll be back soon too

RIP Legend Elgin Baylor, he was an excellent player (thanks @OgNasty for communicating)

Changing the subject, another news that made me sad, was LaMelo's injury, he was standing out and doing a good job, I hope he comes back soon, because he has chances of winning the ROTY prize (in my opinion)

He could if he can come back soon, I don't want to see the same scenario like Zion when he could have won the ROTY award if he was not injured at the early stage of the regular season, now it's opposite for Ball as he was injured in the later stage but hopefully he will come back soon.

This is huge, and I think it will require time to recover.

Updating a previous report, the Hornets confirmed that LaMelo Ball is dealing with a fractured bone in his right wrist and he'll be "out indefinitely."

LaMelo is an obvious ROTY but I doubt Lebron is because there are other stars who are playing very well this season.
I guess we have Luka, Lillard, and James Harden too.

RIP to Elgin Baylor. He was one of the greats. An NBA legend for sure.

Guys...do you think the Los Angeles Lakers are below strength without LeBron James and Anthony Davis injured, can make it to the playoffs without their star players? It is possible???

That's for sure that they're weaker without those two. I think it's tolerable if it's only AD that's gone but LBJs influence on the team is bigger than what we can imagine.
It's hard to assume that they can make it to the playoffs without these two.

This is huge, and I think it will require time to recover.

Guys...do you think the Los Angeles Lakers are below strength without LeBron James and Anthony Davis injured, can make it to the playoffs without their star players? It is possible???
Let's worry about that when they posted a long losing streak.
They gave the strong Suns a good fight until the 3rd quarter. They might still be able to defeat teams in the lower seeds.
I just don't like it when Schroder is making the play. They better hand it over with someone else.
Caruso had been good at making decisions, I'll put my vote on him as point.

They are weak without LBJ.
Had a difficult time finding their offense without someone handling the ball against the Suns.
They need some back up playmaker. Trade deadline ain't over yet, there is still a chance.
It's a bad thing that Lebron was injured but there's a good part about it too by realizing their weakness.
Lakers had been keeping track on big men to fill their roster, perhaps they should look for a small guy too.

Yes, we will see from here some games as the Lakers will behave without LeBron James. He makes a HUGE difference in the team. I hope he comes back soon
Let's see which player will be responsible for the team

How ridiculous is it that Blake Griffin hasn’t dunked the ball in over a year, but as soon as his contract gets bought out and he signs with the Nets, his first basket is a driving dunk? It’s like something you’d see scripted in a comedy movie. The players have truly taken control of the NBA.

Probably he is just trying to show that he doesn't like his old team and he is happy to be playing with the Nets. Everyone was so happy with that first dump being a Nets player and though he only scored 2 points, but the impact is already big, the crowd just went crazy.

Blake Griffin Amazes James Harden&Entire Crowd With His First Dunk As A Net!
First dunk and first points as a nets.

He pointed that out after this dunk! Showing that he's back on his feet and expect more after this Dunk!

I mean not in that particular game but expect him to be in his old Blake mode, same a like with Harden after being traded to Nets and now he's
showing really great.

Waiting to see how it will work with the whole cast, KD,Kyrie,James,Blake and Andre.

I hope to see more of that though.

Blake griffin was once an exciting player, I followed him when he was still with the Clippers and I remember he won a dunk contest so getting a dunk in a game is just normal for him. he is not getting any younger but hopefully slowly he can get his confidence back and he will start contributing big time to his time now.
