win lambo...

Who would have thought that Jazz will be the first team to reach 20 wins? I certainly didn't and based on the poll results, no one did either as they didn't receive a single vote. We all knew they are good  and well balanced team with deep roster, but I didn't expect them to be ahead of the Lakers & Clippers.

Last night's win vs Celtics was their 5th in a row, so maybe @Reid was onto something when he asked can they repeat previous winning streak that was ended by Nuggets. It will be tough though as in the next 5 games they play Bucks, 76s and 2x Clippers and Conley is questionable as he missed last two games.

So, if anyone wants to jump on the bandwagon ( Mavericks fans maybe? Cheesy) here is the form:

I don't expect that it will happen but there's no need for me to fill up that bandwagon form as I'm already a fan of the Jazz ever since. I'm happy for them, their healthy squad was really the main reason why they are almost unstoppable this season, taking the number 1 spot now and they seem to continue making another long win streak.

I think the saying "if you can't beat em, leave em" 🤭 Is what happened with the Nets and Piston. I knew those young blood have a good D in place and they've showed they need to improve with more strategic offences and boom🔥
3rd last minutes were Nets 80- 86 Piston for a while and even Kyrie was lost on court.
Ps. Again no Rose

The Jazz guys are promising.... Good streak thus far
Wasn't expecting it this easy for them but I guess hard work pays.

Heat are getting the motive again! Herro, Bam, Jimmy distributed the morale for the team

The New Orlean Pelicans shows some good defence in the early game which made them lead the score throughout the game. It is entertaining to watch the explosive Alley-oops by Williamson. He is just getting some improvement day by day by competing these guys. they are a few games away from getting to the top 8. they're winning straight games,

Great game by Pelicans they are now in the winning track and that is good to see, unfortunately their opposing team which is the Rockets are having a consecutive loses, Christian Wood is really a big loss for this team.

Quote
I hope they can at least force they way to top 8 or 7 because playoff games are different because the game is so intense as everyone is hungry to get to the NBA Finals.

It's still too early, they'll certainly get in the playoff spot if they'll continue to play with consistency.

They are at the number 10 spot now, (https://www.nba.com/standings)

It would be great to see Zion in the playoffs. I was hoping they’d make it last year but fell just short. They have a lot of talent on that team but they’re still very young. Even some of the players like Brandon Ingram that are considered their leaders don’t seem very mature. It would be scary if Lonzo’s shot kept improving and they held onto all their young guys, but I have a feeling that team will be making some moves soon to get more shooters around Zion.

Zion's injury was the reason why they fell short and he has not played a lot during the playoffs due to some protocol they need to follow IIRC. This time, if they make it to the playoffs and Zion remains healthy, I think they have a chance to upset a higher ranking team, even if it's the Lakers or the Clippers.

The Pistons won against the Nets.
Great game for the Pistons but bad for the Nets. It's like Irving is out with a mental break.
He even shot an air ball at the three point line. Defense is also weak. He just keeps on leaving his man.

Grant tied his career high at 32.
Then Saddiq Bey helped a lot with perfection at the 3 point area.

The teams I am curious about what they will do in the playoffs the most are Utah Jazz, Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks. These are really the surprising teams of this season and they are at the top places in their conference. In my opinion, Lakers and Clippers have more potential than any other team for the championship but of course it is still too early to make predictions for now. We aren't even in the half of the season and as we know there are going to be 72 games in the regular-season different than usual.

There are lots of changes as trades still open for each teams.

Things have a lots of possibilitises considering which team are capable in winning the title, Lakers and Clippers are both still the favorites as they are residing from the top 4 of the West side, Both Sixers and Jazz are on the top from East and West though not the basis to assume the title but they are also contender.

Whatever happens i hope the knicks don't dig into their pile of 1st round picks.  Anything else I'm game for the knicks but I can't go through another decade of them dumping top picks just to make a subpar team.  If anything I would mind them dumping a good pice (not randle, robinson, barret, or quickley) for some more draft capital.  Draft capital is king in future trades.

Today's talk around the NBA seems to be that Lonzo Ball is likely to be traded to the Chicago Bulls.  I was sort of hoping to see him end up back on the Lakers, but if he wants to go to Chicago, more power to him.  It's gotta be tough seeing his little brother do so well in the NBA while he's considered to some to be a bust, although his shooting and numbers are looking better year after year.  Maybe he wants to get to a place where he feels he'll be able to do a little more for his team instead of being the 4th option.

Hopefully he will find a place where he will enjoy playing more and he can show his real potential.

If he will be traded again, this will be his 3rd team and if he still does not improve based on our expectation, then I think we can conclude that that's all he can give and nothing more. LaMelo is going to be an all star soon, Lonzo has no chance if he plays the same.

I am looking forward to seeing the trade deadline fury of trades this year.  The Nets seem like they've got some more tricks up their sleeve and I'm still waiting for the Lakers to pull a rabbit out of their hat.  I sort of thought DeMarcus Cousins was going to be waved by Houston and picked up by the Lakers, but it's looking like that may not happen.

Good comeback by the Lakers who were down 11points at a point in the 4th qtr. LBJ with 28 points and Harrell taking advantage of OKC not having a strong center and got 21 points. Lebron got his triple double with 28points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists.

Yeah and I'm not going to lie this is 60% lebron.  Playoff lebron is rediculous.  I domt see anyone stopping them once they get into the playoffs.  Only team id like to see them play might be the nets as they can light up the scoreboard now so they will make it entertaining.  I know the jazz looked good but playoff bron won't be stopped by them.

How about we talk on the WCF first, what do you think about the Clippers chance against the Lakers?

I'm sure Paul George would not tank again like he did in the last playoffs, different coach and some key players added to the roster, i thin they are a better team now. I like the Lebron vs Leonard match up very much, and I have a feeling that Leonard will stop Lebron and they'll be the WCF champion.

Betting against lebron is like betting against Brady at this point.  Dont think leonard will stop lebron but even if he is anthony davis is more than capable of carrying the team.  I like kawhi in the playoffs, I'm not a huge Paul George fan though.  Dont like seeing the same teams in the finals every year but lebron usually is on cruise control right now, then turns it on during the playoffs...he looks even better this year than most.

Well, I think Jazz will probably get that Denver treatment. Jazz is not seen as the potential champions, but they are seen as a great team, which means they will go as further as they can in the playoffs but will lose somewhere, which is what people expect from them, nobody expects them to go out in the first round but they may go out in the second round which would be not so shocking, or maybe they will go out in the conference finals, that's all I can see them going, no way they would be in the finals if other teams do not have a lot of injured players.

Sixers will probably be a great team in playoffs but they are playing a new style of basketball right now and I think it is obvious that on your first year of a new system you usually do not go to finals, I think it will probably be next year. Bucks are weird, they should probably go to finals, but for some reason they never do, I am not sure why and I am not sure what will happen this year neither.

We have news today.

Nets sign forward Noah Vonleh

his record : https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/v/vonleno01.html

I only remember him playing with the Portland Trail Blazers and he was effective especially on the defensive end.
Hopefully he will be able to improve the Nets defense.

We have seen an awesome game really. Lakers were 56-60 behind at halftime. 3rd quarter was also so close. In the last quarter, Lakers dominated it and had their the most points of all quarters, 34. They succeeded in defeating Thunder after overtime with a 119-112 result. I liked watching Lebron the most in this game. Lakers maintain their incredible performance. They were the victor in the last 5 games.

Mostly Lebron will choked, but this time he did not, good job for him as he again carry this team. Lakers missed Davis because everything is easy with him, Gasol seems not so productive as a center but good thing they have Montrezl Harrell whoa re contributing to this team as usual.

He did not choked because they are playing against a weaker team, if he played with a superior team like the Clippers or the Warriors, he might choke again, we have witnessed him many times in the past where he just shot a 3 point shot which is not his game instead of driving the ball.

Lebron is great but honestly, he is not a clutch player like Curry and Durant.
Every player experience bad games in their life, and good, in any way, no matter how good you are, you will experience defeat, even Michael choked but since we like him we never look at his bad game, or performance, with the age of 35 he is still doing great, I'm not a fan of both player but, but happy that I saw this player perform, at their best, even durant choked in OKC, and Steph let 3-1 lead goes to waste, the ball is round I guess, we don't know who will come out winner in the end.
