LeBron James just signed 2 year deal with Lakers, they can sleep relaxed now. Smiley
He will get 85 million USD for 2 years. This is the most important deal for Lakers, they want to hold onto their best player and they achieved that. Now they should sign other all around players and veterans to stay as a championship contender team.

We already know that he will stay, but this is good as it's a confirmation that he would stay for at least 2 years and that means 2 season of championship if his team will continue to dominate in the NBA. He deserved that amount, or even more with his skills and leadership.

Wondering on what would be the next team on where He would hop in when he already bring Lakers to the peak just like into those former teams that he had joined. 2 years isnt really bad though and when it comes to
pay then there's no doubt on how much they would be putting on yet it would be definitely a worth to spend or give on in Lebrons caliber.

There is a leaked of Christmas day schedule, I'm excited to watch this team because all of this teams are my top tier or the teams that my favorite in both western and eastern teams. The teams that gonna play in Christmas day are the Pelicans at Heat, Warriors at Bucks, Nets at Celtics, Mavericks at Lakers and Clippers at Nuggets. I do not know if these rumors are true but if it then for sure that many viewers and bettors like me that are currently excited. What I want to watch live is the mavs vs lakers because it is a fight between the two triple double machine player which is Lebron and Luka where they have both a lot of triple double in the last season and of course in playoffs. I want also to see the Pelicans because for sure that their new players improve like Zion and Lonzo.
Let's us wait for the final announcement of those schedules.

Those line up of matches are also interesting to watch. All of those matches if confirmed are nice gifts for us during the Christmas day.

Hoping that this rumor you had become true.

Its already been set and this games would really be interesting to watch knowing that those powerhouses will surely clash on Christmas Day!

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/30423809/nba-christmas-day-games-schedule-storylines-how-watch-stream-all-five-games
https://nba.nbcsports.com/2020/12/01/reported-nba-christmas-day-games-include-mavericks-at-lakers-celtics-at-nets/

Lakers VS Mavs would be the main highlight for this one as mentioned.

Regarding to the new head coach, I'm interested if what approach will he implements are he going to change the usual rotations or he's going to use the same,.
Which makes it more exciting.
Tyronn Lue already made a championship and he can handle stars.
I just don't know what approach he will make with Kawhi and PG13.

Opposing that statement, he didn't handle them but LeBron did  Roll Eyes But kidding aside, experienced wise he have that caliber what I meant
is if he will allow those players to play the same or he will change things up. Kawhai and PG both explosive once they start hitting shots, but when they are experiencing off night, there's a need for other players to comes up and help.

We seen that from the last semi finals against Denver, especially PG he keeps on trying there's should ba an adjustment
that being done, Lou before PG and Kawhai was there he can step up for sure.

but who is the PG here, is it Ball or Bledsoe?
According to the roster list per https://www.espn.com/nba/team/roster/_/name/no/new-orleans-pelicans

It's Lonzo Ball who is listed as the Point Guard, but this could change depending on the approach of the coaching staff though.
Also, I'm looking at their salaries in that link above, and I'm glad to see that Ingram finally a good salary, next to Steven Adam of course.

He is making $27 million this year, Adams will make $29 million.

Lonzo will be the starting point guard and bledsoe in the 2 hole.  Lonzo is not a floor spacing 2 while bledsoe can play in that role.  More and more the guard position is a mix and match anyway unless you have a Chris Paul type pg who will always be the pg no matter where he goes.

I really think clippers lack a huge point guard problem for the past year, Kawhi and PG13 both are great scorers but they are mainly ISO type of players and the game gets stuck when they have the ball, and usually they do have the ball, so when they are not trying to score, the game gets stuck and nobody has a good open shot.

I believe they need to figure out a way to actually play the game a bit more fluid and get the motion system integrated but it won't be easy. Plus, they do not have a proper center neither, even last year they had harrel and he was usually a PF before, this year they have Ibaka and he is a PF as well, Zubac is the only center they have. I still think they need to figure out a way to get passing and also need a big man, without those two, they will not win a ring.

We never know but my gut says it will be Clippers that will win the game, so I'm betting on them.
This is also a new look Clippers as they don't have Doc Rivers to coach them, they are under a new coach and hopefully they are better this season.
That's great. I am going the other way though since I am a Nuggets fan.  Grin
But yeah, new head coach and roster being overhauled so I think there will be quite a change on how the plays will work.

What I am wondering is in what shape will be teams that were in finals or payed conference finals since their players had very little time off.  I would expect them to start training very late.
Late or not for a training a real talent or a determinated player in the game will not make that as an excuse. I think that's the new normal NBA put them in as well and they should endure it this time around.

The Christmas schedule has just been released, and we have some great matchups:

Pelicans @ Heat 12:00 pm ET
Warriors @ Bucks 2:30 pm ET
Nets @ Celtics 5:00 pm ET
Mavs @ Lakers 8:00 pm ET
Clippers @ Nuggets 10:30 pm ET

What I am wondering is in what shape will be teams that were in finals or payed conference finals since their players had very little time off.  I would expect them to start training very late. Lakers and Heat played last game on 12th October so only 7 weeks ago.  For their players to be perfectly ready for Christmas game they should already started with workouts a month ago. That would give them less then a month to turn basketball off from their mind. If they risk to be ready for Christmas they might fatigue when playoffs start. I think this season will be even more surprising as was last one.

I'm not actually looking at the emotions spread but the rooster what the team have and I'd rather go with clippers by this time since they have healthy rooster and have a strong rooster in this season, they are strong team even Harrell is not in their rooster anymore but still they have great addition which for sure can give a good contribution inside the court.
They were healthy last season, so I believe the problem was really the coaching, reason why Doc Rivers was fired, so this is a new opportunity for a new coach to handle a good team, they might not be as good as the Lakers but they have a shot to beat the Lakers in a series, they just have to continue winning in the early rounds of the playoffs.

Nuggets and their 3–1 series deficit comeback vs. Clippers should also be worth watching.
My eye is on this match.
It will be fun. How will the Clippers redeem themselves on Christmas night?  Grin

Quite interesting, that pride from the players after that series. Both sides have their reason to win this game, But like you I'll be on the Clippers side, I'm emotional so redeemed may have value for me. Roll Eyes It's a good present for the fans watching this game during the holiday those who are going to bet will surely enjoy watching the game.

I have the hunch that the new coach will implement his own strategy and try new approach to the new specially that they want to start new with this season. Although coach Lue was part of the assistants of former Clippers coach Rivers, he will be familiar with the plays and could just add some some of his if needed.

Interesting, Report: LA Clippers Waiving Joakim Noah; Former All-Star Likely to Retire.

Quote
Over 13 seasons, Noah was named to two All-Star Games, earned three All-Defensive selections, one All-NBA selection and was recognized as the Defensive Player of the Year in 2013-2014.

Yeah, he had a good career in the NBA, specially when he was in the Bulls uniform as his presence in the middle did a lot on Bulls that time, they just fell short with a still healthy and prime Derrick Rose.

They have a lot of youth they just need to gel especially on the defensive end and they will be a force.
They do have it now.
Adams is one hell of a defender below the rim and then they have the long span of Ingram which could now focus on defending guards and small forward shooters.
If things go well to this young players they might now make it to the playoffs.
That means less injuries.
Additional info. The Toronto Raptors will be staying at Tampla Florida as their home court because there are still cross border restrictions in Canada.
Great find dude. Thanks for the information.
