Rumors;

This Rockets-Warriors trade forms a Curry, Westbrook backcourt

[..]

Quote
The Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets each had high hopes for the 2020-21 NBA season earlier in the offseason. Since then, Klay Thompson has been ruled out due to a season-ending injury— leaving Stephen Curry as the sole active member of the “Splash Brothers.” Meanwhile, both James Harden and Russell Westbrook want to be traded.

If this trade will come into reality, what does it make the Warriors?

Will they become a better team or not?

This could make them worse for sure.  I like Russ's game but the warriors I dont think are a good fit.  He would have to bow down to steph and steph is a person who likes the ball in his hands.  Russ needs to go to a team where he can play on ball and attack the rim a lot.  I actually like Wiggins and think he will be good for the Warriors.

The problem is not Steph, we have seen him giving Durant the limelight when he was still with the team, and Durant become the de-facto leader and somewhat Steph was just behind. The problem is that Russ is trying do harm to do everything in offense, attacking the rim, but at the same time it might cause him to miss a lot of shot that might not good in the end for the Warriors.

Good evening, lately they are having several changes of players in the teams of the NBA.

My question is, do you think these changes will make the league more balanced?
Which team will benefit more? And which team will be harmed in these exchanges?
Thanks

Many teams are coming out stronger, that is confusing many gambler to really know who to bet for this NBA season, that is making some fans think los Angeles will be the one to win this NBA champion this season. Los Angeles players are well organized through out all the matches they have played which is leading them to champion 2020. los Angeles will win the NBA champion with this strategies they are using to remain in 45 point to top all team in this tournament.
We haven't started the season yet, Los Angeles Lakers have also lost a bunch of their quality players so we really have to see if the new players are going to blend with the team.

And as you have said, many team are coming stronger as well, so it's going to be tough for the Lakers. They need to play very good almost every night just to stay on top. Miami Heat wasn't expected to be on top of the Eastern Conference, it means that they are a lot of surprising coming in this season. The favorite might not come on top and be the champions, just saying.

There is still a game to be played and they must show it.
What if suddenly they fall in the first round of the playoffs? Would you still say that?  Wink
Let's see how they will play and so does the teams that are now recruiting stars.

Here's what they will have to deal with for a back to back championship.

if WB will be traded to the team then it could increase the value of GSW to win an NBA championship.
Westbrook has the same contract as Curry, and I don't see Warriors' other players with the same high level which GSW could offer the Rockets to acquire him. I guess this deal looks unrealistic at the current moment.

I dont see that as a reality. Wizards should get young players and pay them to gain experiences s when next year add Kay they go for playoffs. To trade their future fro a star that will retire in few years seems very bad. Westbrook will go to a team that will compete for championship.

You mean warriors bro, Wizards have John Wall and they are not a championship contender kind of a team.
Klay has a successful operation but no assurance that he will be healthy by next season or no assurance the will be reinjured again.

Now, let's talk about the current situation, warriors have no Thompson, or someone with playoffs experience like Curry, but if WB will be traded to the team then it could increase the value of GSW to win an NBA championship.

I hope so, warriors will improve if they have someone who are willing to attack the basket, and that is Westrbook .
Who knows, Westbrook might learn something in GSW which is known for their accurate shooting, and that is something Westbrook has been struggling of.

This is just a rumor, I don't know how close it is into reality, but Westbrook is a big fish, they might send some players for him.

Here's the preseason scheduled of the NBA.

https://www.nba.com/news/nba-releases-2020-21-preseason-schedule

Quote
NEW YORK – The NBA today released its game schedule for the 2020 preseason, which will tip off on Friday, Dec. 11 and conclude on Saturday, Dec. 19.

That's only two weeks from now, the preseason seems to be a regular season to me since I can't wait to see the NBA to come back.
Thanks for that update.

Here's the direct link from that link you've posted --> https://www.nba.com/schedule?cal=December&pd=false

Magic and Hawks, Knicks, and Pistons are the debut matches. Notice the location of matches.
Yes if the preseason is so close to christmas and boxing day it might as well be the regular season.
I remember last year they were playing in Asia for their preseason.
So much has changed since then. Undecided
As far as I can remember there was an announcement they will be having games played on Christmas day.
But most teams will be playing out of their own city arenas.
Such as the Toronto raptors playing out of Tampa bay's own venue instead.

Last year, there's a lot of hype of Clippers, that they will contend and challenge the their rival Lakers for West supremacy, but it didn't happen and head rolls in Clippers. So I guess they are still the process of rebuilding with PG and Kawhi as the lead, moving pieces around to find the perfect fit. So let's see how it pan out this season as they also acquire new players.

Yeah, I think what really happened is they became the "new guys" in Clippers last year.
All the reasons why their plays won't work.
They are strong individually or in pairs but not as a whole.
The same reason why a full chemistry team like Denver Nuggets defeated them despite having a 3 win lead.

"Perfect fit" has a nice ring to it but mostly this is just recruiting players that would follow the 2 lead stars.
Not some hard-headed players.  Grin

Clippers are doing really bad transfers this year, right? ? I think the last year expensive contracts now reflect on this year as to be honest KY BOWMAN is not a decisive player that could make big plays to carry the team into the play offs or the finals... . I won't be surprised of Clippers will barely make the play-offs this year.
As long as they have Kawhi and PG both healthy, they should be in the playoffs but I don't expect them to be in the top position of the ranking. Clippers been doing great last season, they were up 3-1 in the playoffs before they blew that lead, but there's always a room for improvement.

I Agree. The Claw and PG if both still healthy this team continue as one of the contender for the playoff.

Trades happened and teams needs comply and adjust, building chemistry and blend together. It's between the coaching staff and  the player
who are willing to compete and work out to win the title. They might lose the favorite, but still playing up to playoff is very possible for them.

LUOL DENG is a rich guy, he is one good example of an NBA player who knows how to manage his finances.
He is out in basketball, not a problem with him as he already have invested in different business on the money he earn through his career.

LUOL DENG: BASKETBALL'S $125 MILLION REAL ESTATE MAGNATE

These players really know how to handle money since some of them started from nothing. They know on how to properly utilize their money so they would not worry about the things of tomorrow which is not normal for some players since that really needs discipline. Having a business while playing basketball would be really helpful once you retire.
Exactly, NBA will only give them years of earning and some even have a short stay in the NBA due to serious injuries committed during their time. Deng is not getting any younger, his best moments with the bulls have already pass and sometimes it's not the same when anymore when you play with other teams.

On the latest news, here's an update.

Last season was very short for them to build their chemistry, now they will come back as an improved team under a new coach, I'm expecting that and I like to see that people has slowly faded their trust with the Clippers just because of that one bad loss in the playoffs.

PG and The Claw are both all stars, they know how to defend and score and they are not selfish players, so with good teammates and good coaching staff, Clippers is still a contender, I like it when people are not expecting them to win the title, I'm sure Leonard love that as well.

Everytime Lebron plays in a team, he made the team better, and his coach and his teammates will be recognize. Coach Frank Vogel is a great coach, knows how to balance the offense and the defense and I really admire his coaching job back in Indiana Pacers, and I think he has already found a new home at Lakers because it seems like Lakers will rule for a while .
I dont disagree with that.
But, as gamblers we always want to see some resistance.
Like Miami Heat resisting to lose and Nuggets winning a 3-1 deficit.
If everything that will happen is already written then gambling sites wont need to put higher odds to a losing team.
I want to see other teams dominating despite the fact that Lakers already had a good roster.

Make it like a goal to defeat them to prove something.

We all like to see that, and now that teams are improving, we will see a good season compared to the last.
The west teams are exciting to watch, not much changes on the teams like Nuggets and Mavericks, but I'm sure they'll come back strong next season.

Lakers are good already, but it was Davis who is a great contributor, in the next season let's hope he is fully healthy to play all the games because he is not that consistent though, hopefully shoulder injury would not be his problem again.

With 2 max contracts in their payroll you can't really expect them to do any kind of shocking moves in the free agency. Obviously for teams with really nothing to move around they will just take advantage of the exception contracts or players who are willing to take a paycut and that is for teams who have the chances to compete for the championship, and with the disappointing performance they did in the last playoff run I wouldn't expect them to attract a lot of quality players willing to take a paycut.
