With last seasons bubble coming down to 8-0 and Suns really looking to improve the team, I feel like Booker will not leave at least another year, plus he is going to get that big money here for the next 5 years and during that period he could show the league how awesome he is to get a lot more money after that 5 years, he is super young  (only 24) which means he will be about 29-30 when the contract ends which is usually the superstar age, in the next 5 years he should probably stay with the suns and get paid the max amount, show the league he deserves supermax and by the time he is 30 he could get that big contract from any team.

However if they are going to trade him, I would say he needs to go to a team that can contend for a title, otherwise if he goes to a team like Kings for example, that doesn't really change anything for him.

Finally.
Thank you for the update.
One more month and I can gamble again with my favorite league.

Would be big if Devin Booker would want to get out of the Suns.

As of now, he is still in contract with his current team with a whooping $158M for five years, does it mean he wants to be traded to other team?

Depends on his contract.
I cannot find any provided information about his contract. (Looked at roto and hoopshype.)
Just details of how much it is and it's a really huge amount.
It's still a rumor though, we cannot confirm it yet.

I can't wait to see the 2021 NBA season starts. Last season, Lakers had wonderful games and they succeeded in being the champions. I wish Heat would make their work be harder and see a more challenging series. It is too early to make predictions for the new season. We will wait and observe which team will start the season the best.
Heat with the same squad will always struggle against a healthy West team (whichever teams will enter in the Finals) because they are just composed of one real superstar and a bunch of young players who does not have enough playoffs experience.

I'm leaning for the Nets, Celtics, and Sixers next season for the East.

It's hard for Heat if they've continue having the same lineup.

The teams that you  mentioned are expected to bring something out in this coming new season, I'm eyeing for Nets having KD and Kyrie's
playing together, and Coach Nash with his  staff. It's interesting to see how this team will be build up.
This addition from the east side will completely changed the possible outcome of this new incoming season hope for the best results.

Whoa, a lot of news like this.

I just read an article about Devin Booker wanting to go out of the Phoenix Suns. While it is still a rumor, it is being said as the worst kept secret based on the same article qouting a bleacher report.

Big news!

Gordon Hayward wants out of Celtics contract for 2020-21 season

Quote
Gordon Hayward's future with the Boston Celtics is getting murkier by the day.

Hayward can earn $34.1 million next season by opting into the final year of his Celtics contract, and many assumed he'd take that option in light of the injuries and inconsistencies that have prevented him from reaching his full potential.

What team do you think will be interested of getting him, no question he has a star quality as a player but his injury problem is one of the reason's a team might not risk for big money to get him.
I wouldn't consider him a star caliber, he is a good player but not to the level that he can carry a team. And with his injuries he has definitely lose some spots in the Celtics that's why he has seldom been used. I'm not sure what team he can be a perfect fit, but he can be a complementary player to some team that has stars already but lacks the needed support scoring wise.

Back then when he still playing with Jazz then yes he can be called as star but after that injury with LeBron, he ain't getting any rhythm anymore and suffer more from other injuries.

He may get offer for role players and be compensated enough to enjoy his career, He's time already passed and he can't bring his game back in shape anymore, whoever team sign him up we will see if what adjustment the coach will provide for him.
Yes, he was still at his prime with the Jazz back then, but with the Celtics, he was not the primary or even the secondary or third options, that's why his game really took a dive and worst, injury struck him. That's why if he ever wanted to get out of Celtics, he should be on a team that can give him ample playing time so that he can regain back his confidence but he shouldn't expect that he will be the center piece, because he can't get back to his old self.

I saw some articles that they will try to get a good player in exchange for Tyler Herro but that is just rumors still.

I don't know about the Celtics though. Hayward wants to opt out into his contract already and find another team and they need to find a legitimate and good center that will help them.
Nets? Yes they have a good roster. The KD and Kyrie duo looks promising and their supporting players are good too. I'm not leaning towards them until I see their performance next season with their new and first time coach Steve Nash.
Sixers is the one to watch for now. They got an aggressive GM in Daryl Morey and they got a veteran yet choking (sometimes) coach in Doc Rivers. There is a high chance too that they will reshuffle their roster and they will trade either Simmons or Embiid into other team.

The players has now approved the start date and 72 game schedule.

So it's more than one month from now and we will see NBA games again.

I'm sure he has already learned from that mistake, because of that big mistake, he got fired by the management, he don't want to experience that as he believed he is one of the best coach in the NBA. Lucky for him that he has been coaching talented teams in the NBA.

Coach Doc wasn't fired by the Clippers management. He is even the best coach in Clippers' history. He stepped down maybe ego problems.

Maybe his problem is being overconfident. They blew a 3-1 lead last playoffs which is unexpected by the majority knowing he has 2 superstars on their rosters. Although not totally a coach fault, he has the authority of playmaking and boosting his player's morale (especially when PG on his unusual mode). As one of the most respected coaches in the league, surely his players will follow anything that he will command.

Now with his new journey in the Sixers, hope he will have a good run here and guide the Sixers to their first Finals appearance since 2001.

Sixers hopefully would improve under a new coach, based on my observation, during coach Doc's first year in a team, they are usually successful, so probably he can bring something to this team to be consistent, not only in the regular season but most especially in the playoffs.
And I hope Doc also learned to stay focus even in a 3-1 deficit.
He had the worse record of all coaches but, I never doubt him. Players also have a share of their faults.
76ers health issues were the problem last year. They should be good to compete now. The East will be packed with great teams.  Wink

Kings Name Rex Kalamian Assistant Coach
This guy is one hell of an assistant coach.
I hope Luke Walton will learn something from him.  Grin

Heat with the same squad will be better next season. They now feel experience being pressured and the most important thing, reach the finals beating those top teams in the Eastern Conference.

Just look at those you mentioned, Celtics and Sixers are well-playoffs experience teams but got choke in the end. Heat dominates them all. Heat youngsters will be more confident making it one of the team to beat in the East.

But on the West, that's what I will agree to you that they are still far from dominating teams in the West if ever they will make it to the finals again.

There is no way any team would want 34 million dollars on their books that could use him to a point it would actually worth 34 million dollars. Let's be honest he got that deal when he was a very good player, but he didn't really worth 34 million dollars any point in his career.

He was definitely a great player but we are talking about 15th biggest salary in the NBA and I could name at least 25 better players than Hayward right now, sure there are some who are young and there are some who didn't get the super max just yet because of accolades (I mean doncic gets rookie contract according to rules) but even at his height he didn't worth 15th best salary if you ask me.

His best season was like a 21 ppg year and I do not feel like that really worths a 34 million dollar contract, at best he deserves around 22 million or so. Which is why I believe nobody will take him, he stays one more year at Celtics and goes for a lower contract after next year never getting paid that much ever again.

It is very difficult to predict if who will be the team that will likely to become champion to 2021 NBA season because it is pretty difficult
to say that Lakers will create a back to back championship as other team will surely to prepare in order to get the crown.
Too early for that, there are many adjustments that will happened and for sure if Lakers wants that back to back they'll be go
with the flow, they won't let other teams to beat them that easy and while they'll have Lebron and Davis they just need to sorround
them with role players that's fit to the types of game this two superstars have.

Quote
If there will be no big changes to players especially in Lakers then I can say that Lakers still has a bigger chance that it can reach again to the playoffs.
No doubts about that, if there's no major change but for sure it's impossible, all teams wanted to upgrade and willing to allocate
their funds to make sure getting the chance of winning the title.

Quote
Though it is still very early to predict as the season is not starting yet but I will love to hear the opinion of other member here if who
will be their favorite team to win the 2021 crown.
Yeah right too early indeed. Major changes will be done and fans will surely changes teams after.

This is the counterpart for each player that will be injured.

Speculating which team is going to take him with his condition, we'll never know. It's too early to speculate and have a guess which team will get him.

But it's going to be surprised if the team that will get him is the team that we're not expecting.

It's really hard to tell since there's no rumor yet on which team will take him since for sure they will think about his health condition and contribution on the team if they will take him out and I think Hayward will struggle on this since there are so many good free agents which is healthy.

But it's good to see him in the bench since for sure even if he can't contribute on the court for sure the experience he bring on the bench will be useful for the team who will pick him.
I agree.

Even with an injury, players like him that still be of use with something like that. But still depends on whichever team will get him.

Do we have other rumors of roster shuffles and transfers?

Maybe Miami Heat would be interested in signing a contract with him, and I guess Hayward still has good potential to play at the same level even after that terrible injury. So, Miami's starting lineup would be looked good on "paper" Smiley (Dragic/Herro, Butler, Hayward, Crowder, Adebayo).
It could fit.
Hayward and Robinson switching. Yeah, that will be a super offensive threat.
But is it players that are lacking with Miami Heat right now?
I think it is the experience they need.
They have Haslem and Iguodala already who could provide details on how to be champions. They are just still young to make it happen.
