So how are you guys feeling about next years odds?  I am not surprised that the Lakers sit at the top, as I'm sure Anthony Davis and much of the team will be back.  I was a bit surprised to see the Golden State Warriors so low on the list.  I would think if they have everyone back and healthy, they will easily be competing for the title.  Regardless, it's great to have a much more even playing field back in the NBA , almost like never before ( at least any time recently ).
What's surprising in that odd is the contender of the Lakers this season, I really think they still got underrated even by the next season. Well, that's just some speculation though and I do think it will make some turnaround who has the best odds for the next season. Regarding the GSW I think that's too early to predict that maybe they are still have this basis from the past season and I don't think it applies again for the upcoming one.

I think Brooklyn Nets will be increasing their odds as well for the next season if only we see how healthy KD would be but I think he is and watch how their coach Steve could bring to the team. We'll see that by this January 2021 as per the rumor.

That's the same odds Lakers got last season, so I don't think they are underrated here, I won't touch that odds to be honest, instead, I'll check on the Warriors and the Nets, they have great return, and though these teams superstars are coming from injury, I believe they'll have a good next season.

Brooklyn might have an easier journey than the GSW if ever they'll reach in the NBA Finals as the west are just full of talent.
No, what I mean was the Miami Heat "the contender of the Lakers this season". I wouldn't doubt that GSW or Nets will really have a good season they are the most anticipated team I guess for the upcoming season but still not lifting my hopes up because another injury may came that probably destroys the hype.

Butler brought Miami to the finals. After that it would be a miracle to won them as an individual.
It was impossible for him to face Lebron and Davis as they were on their top form during the finals.
Dragic was good but he is too old to carry a whole team and get the ring.
Butler is a machine. But also make the other players of the team, or let's say the whole team that did their best and made it to the end. I won't say that any miracle has happened. They're all skilled and good players despite the opening losses that they have made.

Nothing is impossible. All of them have their own training, exercises and good physique. Any of them can par with any other players in the league, it's just that LBJ and AD are also versatile and super stars.

There are a lot of surprises in that odds, of course Lakers will be on top. But how about the Heat though? And then Bucks? Boston and GSW? Anyways, it's too early, there's a lot of things to happen with those teams, and even if GSW is back healthy, we really don't know as they are going to somewhat reset everything again.

The only thing we do hope is that this pandemic will be over, and then basketball be back with fans watching because it is so much part of basketball and any other sports for that matter.

While I'm looking at one picture of Butler sitting and just head down with disappointment, I feel the guy. He has done his best and made the series long and he's one of the best contributor to the team. Just the last game he didn't scored that much just as his normal game play.
Mad respect to this boy.

Butler really gave it his all. We can really see the determination in Game 5 when he freakingly played for 45 MINS++++. You have got to really admire that hustle. It was just surprising that Game 6 was a blow out even though Dragic was told to be Active. I guess Lakers is the better team to really want to have it so bad (FOR KOBE!). All we can do now is wait for the trades in this end of playoffs and see which team can take it to the next level.
There would be a change of roster but I do believe they will retain most likely into their current line up but might there would be some additions yet they had done well
on this season and able to get into the finals on where everybody is least expecting.

Was surprised that there were already odds for next years season. Its not really that surprising that Lakers would be sitting on the top specially now the current
season had ended and do able to claim the peak but not to be assured that next year will be an another story yet there would surely be comebacks out of those
team that haven't able to give their best shot.

Im just hoping that this pandemic would end and we would go back all to normal.

Last game was nothing to talk about, it was so obvious that Miami wasn't playing with 100% unfortunately, that happens sometimes you do not play your best game and that is understandable but the unlucky part for them is the fact that LA played with 100% and everything went according to play for them.

Not much to say that was just one game, obviously deciding the champions but still one game and that is about it. Lakers showed the world that doubting a pairing like AD and Lebron was an idiotic move, sure clippers had Kawhi and pg13 but why did the world assumed Kawhi and pg was a better duo compared to Lebron and ad? That was silly.

Next year (well this year actually) we will see Lakers finally getting the respect they deserve like Lebron said, they are going to go out there and everyone will try to beat them, let's see what Lebron will do at age 36!

Wit the degrading performance of DeRozan in the last two seasons with the Spurs, I doubt, Spurs will get a stars in return, maybe they could get a bunch of players but not a star level. His style of play does not fit with the spurs, or maybe he is not only happy playing with the Spurs.

We will see some news and I'm expecting one from DeRozan before the next season, I'd like to see coach Pop retiring having a success in the playoffs, as that would give more plus on his legacy in the Spurs.
Yeah, one more season entering the playoffs.
But, it may be in the bubble again.

DeRozan.
Hmmm.
I remember the Knicks management rebuilding with young players.
Maybe DeRozan could fit there to give some veteran tips to these young guys.
Playoff experience and of course he is once a star too.

I doubt Raptors will get him back and also Heat since they might just improve their players for next season.

Definitely, we have been entertained by the NBA finals, specially what heart Miami Heat shows against the Lakers. There's no crowd and yet NBA finished with a bang. All sports stop during the pandemic, but we have somewhat embrace this new norm and NBA make it sure that we are still going to see basketball despite the situation. I'll go with Dallas next season in the west Grin.

"Respect"
The word that should be in these two teams. What a great series of NBA 2020! I thought at first NBA was postponed to have this season because of pandemic. Until the playoffs, I can get over how Miami done it. Respect for both teams because they gave a lot of sacrifices and determination just to step in finals. We thought that it ended in 4-1 standing yet Miami extended it. They just showed that they can beat LA but their strength is not enough to endure the thirst of Lebron James. It seems like he wanted to bring back the championship to LA as he became aggressive for the final round.

Congratulations LA fans and bettors!

This is a great fight even though we all know that the Lakers has a high chance of winning we didn't expected that the Miami Heat will be able to reach game 6 which is still pretty amazing even though they lose the playoffs still a huge compliment to their team and also for Jimmy Butler.
What are you saying?

Miami lost the playoffs?

Miami and Lakers just ended the finals yesterday. Lakers won.
This is an example of a post which is clearly telling that this guy doesnt even know on what he's saying and just trying to post up on topics and speaking of playoffs. You would really look dumb on mentioning that
Miami did lose in playoffs. LOL!
He probably watches the games but wasn't aware that the bubble season has just ended and didn't read what everyone's talking about.

What everyone is telling and congratulating the champ.

We've seen how ineffective DeRozan in Spurs, so let me ask you, which team do you think DeMar DeRozan would fit?

5 intriguing trade destinations for Spurs guard DeMar DeRozan

Quote
San Antonio Spurs guard DeMar DeRozan has a player option on his contract this offseason, which he’ll need to address. But even if DeRozan exercises the option, he may not play for the Spurs next season.

DeRozan can opt-in to the final year of his contract, which would pay him $27 million for the 2020-21 season. But his tenure in San Antonio has seemingly fallen flat.

DeRozan, of course, was part of the return in the Kawhi Leonard trade to Toronto, at a time when the Spurs’ fan base was particularly angry at the entire situation.

DeRozan is 31, and even if he opts into his contract, he’s still just one year away from free agency.

Also, the elephant in the room is the fact that the Spurs missed the playoffs for the first time in 22 years. Their offseason plan is unclear, but it’s feasible that changes could be on the horizon.

Let’s take a look at five intriguing trade destinations for DeRozan, should he opt-in to his contract.

They really need to trade him and build their team to become competitive in the playoffs again since it is not really normal when they failed to catch up in the playoff trees. we are talking about the Spurs here man, I think they should really consider looking through the available star players for trade to get back on track. it's just Derozan doesn't fit on that team.

According to the article, it was stated the 5 destination, here are as follows.

1. Charlotte Hornets
2. Miami Heat
3. Chicago Bulls
4. Sacramento Kings
5. Toronto Raptors

In the list above, I think I like to see him playing with the Miami Heat because they need some improvement and he could fit with the team. Of course not to the expense of Butler, but if both teams will agree Miami could send the young players and get an experience  DeMar DeRozan, it could be a win-win for both teams IMO.

I think this could be one of the memorable NBA finals we had, I mean we have the pandemic, no fans, other basketball players doesn't want to play because of the threat of the virus but eventually the games resumes. And then Butler leads the Heat to the finals, produce one of the best performance of his career, down 3-1. So you can understand the disappointment of him sitting down and probably thinking he can do more in the series.

But Lakers offense and specially their defense was on the dot that night. You can really see how the Heat have difficult time in the first quarter to score because of the air tight defense.

I just felt sad for Danny Green who struggles to find his rythm from beyond the arc, disregarding how good he was in the defensive end. Not everyone noticed it why coach Vogel put Danny on the starting five despite of his poor 3pt shooting throughout the whole post season.

He wont be put up in starting 5 if theres no reason and youre right and everybody do really able to notice that Green doesnt really have a good success rate when it comes to 3 point area but still he do able to
contribute somewhat in game 6.

First of all, I like to congratulate the NBA organization for organizing the bubble setup properly. Without the efforts of the whole organization, we won't see a successful resume of the season. Their setup also inspires other basketball leagues in different countries. Although the overall ratings are not that good, we all know that it's because of an "obvious reason".

For those saying that the Los Angeles Lakers have an easy path to win a championship this season, that was a big slap for those teams who aggressively fight for their respective spot during the elimination to playoffs. We saw big efforts, perseverance, and positivity on every team.

Congrats Los Angeles Lakers
Congrats Miami Heat (which I think will be one of the deadly team in the East next season if they able to maintain and improve their roster)
Congrats NBA
Congrats Bettors

And lastly, Dallas Mavericks will be the champion next season. Cheesy

Dallas Mavericks vs. Denver Nuggets next season in West.  Grin
If that happens, damn! I don't know which team I will bet for. My emotions will be in the way.

Yeah, NBA had done so much for the fans.
We are entertained right? Then, players can still have their salaries and so does the personnel behind it.
Their families will be happy it did continue.

We also saw how different it is when there is no crowd on the floor.
Perhaps it will change if everything goes back to normal. But I doubt that, for now.

Definitely, we have been entertained by the NBA finals, specially what heart Miami Heat shows against the Lakers. There's no crowd and yet NBA finished with a bang.
