Who watched the match of Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks. Well, Bucks lost but the game was hot and intense as Giannis and Hall gets into each other. Giannis was about to attack and confront Hall but he was stopped and the game continued.

The game was close. That last second of DiVincenzo, I thought that it will make a buzzer-beater but it didn't because the ball taps to his leg.

I don't even consider this close.

If you will be looking at the game again their coach are lineups are like a preseason team. Giannis is in the game for what? Like 20 minutes and he's done. I think the reason behind this is just that they wanted Brooklyn to take the 8th spot and for them to have a smooth run in the playoffs, what do you guys think?

There's a lot of games to watch, hehe.. I was not able to watch this one, but thanks for telling us what happened, I'm checking the highlights of the game now. I have a friend in the nba betting thread who won in this game as he bet on the Nets to win, that was x18 of betting odds.

I am having doubts now.
When I saw the Spurs play so strong even without Aldridge, I said to myself, "Pops, is really great!"
They want that spot so bad and they won 2 of 3. The loss against the 76ers is just a 2 point game differential.
Still, this is going to be a rough road for those under Grizzlies.
Well I think this is because they can't afford to not break their record to make on the playoffs season. They've made 22 streak to make it on the playoffs since 1998 and that's a record they want to make right now to be number 1 if they can clinched that. They've tied with 76ers to have 22 streak to make it on the playoffs, see below.

https://www.landofbasketball.com/statistics/playoffs_made_streaks.htm

Both 3 of the best contender to clinched that 8th seed has tough teams to play I think they'll be having a hard time but I'm still rooting for Spurs to get that and make a history.

Spurs were going almost 3 for 3 last night, they hada  decent guy on embiid, I get that it is hard to guard a guy like embiid who can play post if he wants to, can shoot mid range, bank it in, can shoot threes and all of that at the same time so it is a hard person to guard however at the last second of the game you do not guard inside, if they get a tie they get a tie and that's it, but if you leave the outside open you are talking about losing the game like this.

If Murray was guarding his own man a bit more instead of trying to help out everywhere, Milton wouldn't be able to hit that last second shot and Spurs could have been a serious contender for that 8th spot right now. Anyway, at least Grizz lost to pelicans as well, now next games are Portland vs Rockets which I think rockets would win, and jazz vs grizzlies which jazz could win, but spurs have nuggets which will be very tough.

Both players were phenomenal, Nikola Jokic seems to be playing in slow motion. He is seen to think faster than others, which is advantageous to him as today's game.
Spot on.
That is how he play. Slow game, but with offensive and defensive awareness at the highest level.
He may not that be as athletic as other players, but damn he was so good whether in the paint or outside making assists.

Must be tough. I'm curious which team would you bet on to claim the 8th spot? Me, well I'm still rooting for Grizzlies despite their two defeats, since it was just a very close game. And they must be troubling about it  Undecided.

And so, I am pretty sure they will do much better on their next game though. They just need to improve their defense (this is where, I think, they were lacking)  Sad. On the other hand, their offense was no doubt great, they can score pretty well both behind the arc, and inside as well, won't deny that.

Nuggets finally won a game, and thanks to N. Jokic, his struggle is over, he scored a triple double tonight to get this win.

30 points, 10 assists, and 12 rebounds. It was a thrilling game, it went to OT but the Nuggets dominate on the OT.

Paul's fault though as he missed 1/2 of FT that could give them a win.

That's really close, Nuggets outpowered the Thunders during the overtime, and yes Jokic showcase his dominance on this game

Though Porter Jr have also a good game but the last quarter and the OT it's nice seeing a big man with that triple double double.
Congrats to Nuggets escaping this one.

They are due for a win, never bet against the Nuggets as they always bounce back, so next, I am expecting them to keep winning.
on the other hand, nice win by the Lakers, Davis was a beast in this game, he was phenomenal as he take in charge while Lebron is also very efficient.

Well, bad news for Spurs that they are going to play against Sixers and that game will be a tough one, they have won their first 2 games but Sixers is a team that wants to go to finals this year if they can, so that game will be a tough one and I wouldn't bet for spurs to win.

However good news for Spurs, Portland blazers the team that is trailing spurs will play rockets and that does look like a very tough game for Portland as well. All in all that 8th spot for western conference will have a very fiery competition, I would love to watch who ends up getting it, I think only grizzlies, spurs and Portland has a chance, and if there is 4 game difference between the 8th and 9th that means they will play a game to 3 between them as well which I think if that happens Spurs would get that.
It's really a bad news having that 3 win streak and yet it will just ended by Sixers. Still has 7 minutes before it ends and the Spurs is still trailing with Sixers but not that huge of a gap. To those 6 that are still struggling for that 8th seeds I think Spurs and Blazers are the one that can dominate and clinched it, these teams are playoffs contenders to be honest. Exciting who'll challenged the Lakers once playoff begins.

Edit: Sixers win over Spurs 132 - 130. That was really close.

Jokic had a good night and some players step up as well, good for the team, doubt is over on Jokic now.

Paul's fault though as he missed 1/2 of FT that could give them a win.
Paul was clever though, he was the one who initiated the contact to get a foul, so they deserve the lose,.. plus the slap on Morris face.  Roll Eyes.. Dirty Paul.
That's why I like Rondo took a punched on him. haha

Sixers is heavily favored against the Spurs, they are -7 right now, but I think sixers still needs to prove and win more, they lose their last game against the Pacers so I don't think spurs does not have a chance here, let's see if Embiid can abuse inside that LA is not their.

The only good news is if the Memphis will keep losing as they are holding the current number 8 spot now, that's the only way they will qualify.

Chances also that these teams wants to prove they are better than the number 8.
They want to keep on winning against them to get that one chance to steal their spot.

Yes, Grizzlies have been doing well. Perhaps they are also considering to not be pressured so much right now. Keep their full strength until they go head to head for whichever team they will go against.

Memphis is in bad shape since restart, while Spurs are getting wins in a row, so eight place fight on west could be interesting after all, it looks solved before pandemic, but now seems that Spurs could make it interesting, especially if they win the match in Philadelphia tonight, i am considering putting them on my list, with low stake, it is an over @3 quote

and as good bet, will put New Orleans as well, Memphis has a lot of injured players, so this should be an easy one

I think Memphis are just unlucky, their last two loses was a close game, first it was an OT loss, and 2nd a very close game against the spurs.
Well, they have the advantage in ranking but with that 2 loses, things are getting better now, if they can hold on to the last spot, good for them.

Agree, they have an opportunity to win each game in their last two games but they are just too unlucky.

Based on the standing, https://tv5.espn.com/nba/table.. they are still way ahead, so spurs needs to keep winning if they want that last shop.
Blazers loss against the Celtics, so there chances now decreases.

One win by the Memphis, that would be a relief to them.
