OMG! It was an amazing battle! Butler, Robinson had a great performance and, of course, the ridiculous turnover of M.Morris in the last seconds of the game... Undecided
I think Lebron and AD will need more proper help from the rest of the teammates in the next game.

A surprise. The game early dominated by the Heat. And they've won game 5.

Do you think that game 6 isn't going to be the last match? and they will tie this?

Well, thanks to Heat for burning my money  Tongue Good thing it was just a little bit, I'll probably deposit some more and recover my loss.

So maybe there is hope after all, even if the game's fate is determined by a single three-pointer. To be honest I want Heat to catch up and stay in the Finals for longer and was tired of the playoffs being dominated by the Lakers. Now there's real contention to the trophy this season so the next few matches just became more exiting to watch.

It looks like he will really play as I go thru player stats bet and his name is on the list.
That's the spirit,  Cheesy, not over till it's over, ML @3.55 to the Heat. No problem with going against the flow, I guess you have the balls mate.

In any case though, Lebron and the team are going to close this out and I'm sure in their mind that they have the scenario on how it will end Game 5, probably another triple double for James, AD with 30 points contribution and win the Finals MVP.
Congrats Reid, I did tail your bet bet on Miami to win on game 5, lol. Actually I was so noisy watching the game live here, my neighbors thought that I'm fighting with someone in the house.  Smiley. I'm might go all the way Miami, and with a bet on the line, the game makes more exciting to watch. Also Butler shows that he is a true leader of the Miami team, hitting clutch baskets and making defensive plays.
Butler is certified clutch, he can't miss a FT in clutch time and even Herro made that FT to seal the game. People are wrong in this game, that black mamba jersey never happened, people were expecting that Lakers wins the series in 5 and the celebration will happen today.

Game 6 it is, this is by far the best series the Lakers had as in the previous series, they only give a team one win before they eliminate them.

Heat did a great job overall and all the starting 5 has contributed, and what I noticed very much in this game is that Duncan Robinson has leveled up his performance, he was more comfortable and confident in this game, and that resulted him to do what he usually do, which is knocking down 3 point shots.

In this game alone, he was 7/13 in the 3 point line and finish with 26 points which is his current high in the NBA Finals.

Hope that number stays.
What a pain to see that butler step up in the last game and able to win vs lakers. I thought that was going to end where Lebron make some ways to make the Lakers getting back into the game after getting behind of almost 10 points. Robinson had just able to put up a good 3 pointer shots that are also crucial for the game. That was really impressive outcome from Miami knowing that Lakers had really a great team. Well at least we can watch another game for the series and that would be game 6. I think this time high chances that Lakers will going to take the chance in winning the game compared to the last game. However, I am a little bit worried about AD for his injuries that can affect his performance in the basket.

The results of game 6 will depend on Anthony Davis' heel problem and how this might affect his performance. However, I speculate that he might have done everything with it and could do no more for game 6.

Similar to @Reid, I will be brave and bet the moneyline for the Heat hehehe.

I thought Davis was find, the injury happen when he only scored 8 points and when he came back he added 20 points in his previous 8 points, so it was not really bad, there's evidence that he was hurt with the way he played.

We will get an update about that heel here https://www.rotoworld.com/basketball/nba/player/29801/anthony-davis

I hope that he's good but looks there's a turning of table and favor the Heat.

Lucky those guys here who were brave to go with Heat, it's paid off for this game 5.

It's very close actually, Heat took the majority of the lead, but Lakers come back and even take the lead. But after that it seems they've lost the momentum as they keep on missing important shot. It's uncontested and that's why it is a very difficult lost for them. Specially the last passed by Morris, one of the worst in the finals. And Jimmy Butler proved himself one again and out duel Lebron. Duncan Robinson also did show in todays game with 26, finally we have seen him contributing in this finals.

So it's 3-2, still the Lakers can close it out on the next game, so we will see how mentally the Lakers are prepared. The pressure is still on their side, while Miami will try to prevent them from winning. I'd say it still hard to say if this is going to be Miami's final game, they have shown resiliency in this series.
.
Yes.

Lakers still is on the major lead of this and next game would be their probably most crucial match of the series. The mental breakdown is going to be tough, they had all the lead then suddenly Heat closed to them near.

The unforced turn overs made and done by the Heat have made them lose their lead in the most important part of this game. The 4th and final quarter.
What a pass by Morris but the Box of Adebayo to Davis made the pass failed Cheesy.
What a performance for LeBron and Butler and what a game as a whole especially the 4th quarter where you can't say that one team will surely win. Its anybody's game on that quarter and one mistake will make you lose and what happened to the Lakers in the last seconds of the game.

I thought that this is over already but the Heat forced a Game 6 and the Mamba jersey win streak is over already. Good for those who put their bet on Heat since the Game isn't started. I also put my bet on Miami but at 2.10 odds only at the 2nd quarter. My prediction of finishing this in Game 5 has been unsuccessful and congrats to those who put their bets on Heat including me Cheesy.

That means even if Heat would win tonight, their chance going forward is still very slim considering that data is accurate.

I agree with that. And to think that Miami Heat needs to win 3 times in a row is a tough one.

I see the game will be close so it's risky to bet on Lakers handicap.

The last game was very close until the 4th quarter whenever the Lakers get a small lead going the Heat would always keep it to a 1-3 possession game. I also think the Lakers takes this one but I doubt the point spread would hit as the Heat could still keep it close once more and it might be better to take them live if the pace would be the same as last game.

Edit : There's still 7 mins left in the 4th but if  the other Laker guys couldn't hit their shots we could see Miami taking the win here and force a game 6.

I certainly hope you will be terribly wrong with this one. We need to see Lakers properly under pressure and I hope Miami can push them a bit more. If Miami takes this one, then in the game 6 we will see who's who and what's what.
We already know who's who. Nobody expected a good performance from Miami in the playoff series, and the Heat has a good chance to win the next game.
Nevertheless, these stats are enough to understand who will win this NBA season.

That means even if Heat would win tonight, their chance going forward is still very slim considering that data is accurate.
Hence, betting on the Lakers from now would give a bettors a chance to win provided he bet only on the Lakers to win straight up, not on the point spread.
The data is indeed accurate and basing of on percentage then its clear on who most likely to take the final spot but somehow having that 2.9% on 3-1 deficit in all nba series
then it do shows that there are chances and having these kind of chances shouldnt really be given out too confidence if they are on the lead.Anything can turn upside down
and also if they won the next game then chances do become big but do you really believe that Lakers would just allow 2x in a row loss? I dont think so this is why
its hard to believe that there would be some sort of comeback.
In the playoffs it did not happen for the Lakers, so tonight it might still be the same result as their past fight. When Nuggets were down 1-3, fans were hyping that Nuggets will come back because they did it in the previous 2 rounds, Jazz and Clippers to be specific but it did not happen, so most likely same situation here, Lakers ending the show tonight.

I bet 100% that this game goes to Lakers and we are finishing this series tonight for sure. I am betting on Lakers anyway, I have wagered on them in the first 4 games and only lost one of them but overall I am in profit and I am going to wager even bigger tonight.

I went all-in on the Lakers this game, guaranteed x1.31 return. Hopefully, this bet won't burn me like some of my other sports bets in the past did  Smiley

Tip: when an all-star for a team comes back to a game after a long absence like how Bam suddenly came back for Heat, don't place any bets on the other team (or the first team either, for that matter, in fact, I'd avoid betting entirely on who will win the game, if a scenario like that happens, and just place bets on other aspects of the game).
