You gotta love the Heat game from last night as they simply destroyed Lakers in both half of the game. If this wasn't enough , I saw Lebron so mad at referees for not giving him faults and free trows lmao so even if I'm a Lakers fan, I want Heat to win just because of the gestures of Lebron from last night game.

That is quite true but you just gotta imagine the frustration building up even from their first loss. We know that LeBron as a team captain wants the best for the team but somehow some players just kinda messes up plays made by Vogel. I wanna see more games but those bad plays need to stop specially this Game 5. The pressure really got into some players like Green and Morris. Robinson on the other hand was handing out them clutch shots. Kudos to Butler!!!

Butler is really good! Playing 47 minutes is really exhausting but I hope he recovers well next game so they can push for a game 7. I may see this finals a sure win for the lakers at first but now I think I'm starting to see it that everything can happen. I now see this finals exciting and entertaining as heat proves that they have the chance of taking this championship from the lakers. Maybe this is what finals looks like, athletes having the heart of winning cause they already have the chance.

I don't see that someone's at fault for the lakers, heat is just the better team last game. And if you're a lakers fan, athletes have their bad nights too, you don't have to show it to their face cause they know it better than you. They are preparing to come back stronger.

I can't believe Heat pulled of another upset, Lebron played amazingly but there were few players that caused the game to go to heats side and none of them were from Heat players.

Heat players could play great, Duncan Robinson (I still think he should have played for spurs lol) and Butler played amazingly and that is why I believe they do deserve kudos but Morris, Kuzma and Danny green all played badly, hell at the last possession not only Danny Green missed a wide open three which could happen to anyone but also Morris gave the ball away in the most silliest method there could be, this is a win and title game so I think they can't make these kind of mistakes, on a regular season you could make these kind of mistakes but in championship game you have to play in a way that is perfect and without any mistakes.

I thought Lakers is gonna win but seems the Heat is giving their best to catch up, who do you think it's fault Danny Green or Morris I think I bet on a wrong team today. I hope I'll get it on the next game.

Nice.
I was also shouting and clapping. My kids are just looking at me with questions in their eyes.
"Who is he shouting at?"
"Did Daddy just hit his head?"

Grin this made me crack up.

With AD and Dragic both out, we have a fair, level match for both teams. IIRC, Dragic wasn't exactly a top scorer for Heat, but he sure is an efficient point guard.

It's going to be Lebron James against Jimmy Butler for the last two games, and both of them are hyped up for this.

Can't even tell whom to compare that great back and forth showcase of skills between Butler and James.
They are both exhausted but they are trying to score for the team.
It's like willpower which makes them move at that last minute.
Good thing there was still a lot of timeouts that made them rest a bit.  Grin

I want to see Herro spark in Game 6. Robinson did his part and I bet they are going to defend him even better next time.
Time for the Herro to shine.

OMG! It was an amazing battle! Butler, Robinson had a great performance and, of course, the ridiculous turnover of M.Morris in the last seconds of the game... Undecided
I think Lebron and AD will need more proper help from the rest of the teammates in the next game.
It was indeed a great game. Heat was able to win another match against Lakers.

That turnover from Morris is a hot topic here in our country as I see many posts about it on Facebook. Well, it's somehow a big deal for the team but he's just a person and he makes mistakes. He did good contributions though in their previous games. But you know, people would rather talk about your mistakes rather than the good things you did. *Sigh*

Anyway, Game 6 is exciting. Hope Miami keep their performance up and lead them to Game 7. Good luck to both teams, fans, and bettors.

I think Lakers will end the series in 5, but I am not betting on the Lakers -7 or -7.5 only as I have other plans, I am trying to get an odds for Lakers to win 26+ as I believe it's either Heat will cover again or Lakers will dominate and route the Heat in this game.

I am getting x14 winning of my bet if I'll win.

Well, we were both wrong about that... LOL well played the Heat!

Yeah, we were wrong, Heat came out the better team in this game and that 26+ points win by Lakers did not happen, we will try again next game, if Lakers failed to make it in 5, they'll definitely make it in 6, still rooting for the same team and same bet.

I bet on Heat this game and I think that worked out though I am also rooting for LA Lakers to win. Maybe because it is the team that's popular but because I have no choice since Miami Heat defeated Milwaukee Bucks and I just wanted for Lakers to beat Miami.

We never know, but if AD would indeed not available in game 6 then I believe Miami will have an edge and Butler would not be having a problem attacking inside, and Bam as well.  But according to this article, Davis would play, so Lakers are still intact.

https://clutchpoints.com/lakers-news-anthony-davis-reveals-update-on-his-game-6-status-for-lakers/

Quote
The Los Angeles Lakers were given a proper scare in Game 5 on Friday against the Miami Heat, with Anthony Davis appearing to have sustained a significant ankle injury that kept him on the floor for a a couple of minutes.

As it turns out, however, it was nothing but a minor tweak, and according to Davis himself, he should be good to go for Game 6:

Will AD be able to play at his fullest though? Now that Bam is also on the court, someone would have to guard him well too.

I believe he can still play, he played with pain in game 5 and manage to score 28 points and 12 rebounds, that doesn't seem look like he has a problem with his heel, and that update was coming from Davis so he is still good to go, nothing to worry.

Good, it's good news for the Lakers if AD can play because they really need him in the floor, it not they Butler will have his way going inside with no one to challenge. I just rewatch the highlights, it seems that the supporting cast of Lakers underperformed when it was needed. Damn, Danny Green's three point was clearly short, it was a well design play, and then Morris? WTF?

And the post interview, Butler was obviously very very tired, we don't know how long can he manage and play and bring Miami to another championship

The question is with the win of the Miami, do you think that the momentum right now is at Miami?? Include the AD injury that may affect his performance next game.

things could get interesting, seem to be
it was a done deal yesterday, but with all that happened in fifth match, everything is possible for this series, even two more wins for Miami, it is not highly likely, but possible for sure

The results of game 6 will depend on Anthony Davis' heel problem and how this might affect his performance. However, I speculate that he might have done everything with it and could do no more for game 6.
Yeah, I am worried about that. It's not the first one.
It had been troubling him and the injury reacts when he makes a bad step.
Now, I think it is worse. I hope he's okay.
I might bet for the Heat but watching a great game is still my top priority.  Wink

Similar to @Reid, I will be brave and bet the moneyline for the Heat hehehe.
The good side about it is when you win x6 you could take it easy afterwards.
But sorry, I am greedy. I will still bet a nice amount in Game 6.  Grin

Congrats Reid, I did tail your bet bet on Miami to win on game 5, lol. Actually I was so noisy watching the game live here, my neighbors thought that I'm fighting with someone in the house.  Smiley.
Nice.

AD is injured, so this makes this match more exciting that we initially perceived. Who would have thought that Miami will give LA a lot of problems and even winning 2 games in this series. Robinson is a big help early, pushing them to a good separation lead. But LA responded in the fourth quarter and then it was a back and forth battle. We don't know what Morris is thinking, but how about Lakers missing a lot of open 3's specially the last play in which Green was inserted in the game, Lebron penetrating and then a pass to him, shot was short, a shot which usually he hit. I guess the pressure is still high for the Lakers to win that game.
Because of the AD injury, the Lakers are somewhat losing their momentum right now. Include the fact that they choked in the most crucial time in the game.
Still what a pass by Morris Cheesy.
Morris wants to pass it to Davis but good box by Davis that is why it went out of bounds. I just don't know why LeBron passed it to Green which isn't that productive this Finals. He should find better open players like LeBron who is at the 3 point line at that time and he is shooting well behind the arc.

That's because most of the shot attempts came from Davis and Lebron, Morris was even scoreless who are shooting well in game 4.

The teams usual produce was sacrifice in this game as Lebron was trying to be Lebron wanting to finish the series but unfortunately he can't do it alone, he need his shooters to generate points as well so they will not be unpredictable.

Lebron has to focus on his assists I guess, Let AD do the job inside as that's where they have the edge.

Jimmy was hot because in this game I don't see Lebron focusing his defense on him, instead he focus on making point of his own too.

That's very important if they want to finish the series in game 6.

Lakers seemed to be better if Lebron is more on a facilitator than a scorer as he make his teammates better, here he scored 40 points but some of his teammates production have reduce.

These players are key for the Lakers win but in game 6 not all of them are productive.
Caldwell-Pope - 16 points
Kuzma - 7 points
Rondo - 4 points
Caruso -3 points

That's because most of the shot attempts came from Davis and Lebron, Morris was even scoreless who are shooting well in game 4.
