Super disappointing in Denver performance here in this series as well as the game right now.  They looked so much better in the season before the restart in the bubble.  They were my dark horse to make a run at the chip but doesn't look like it this year.  Maybe the Harris and Barton injuries really took their toll
Then Denver says it ain't over yet.  Grin
On top of that there's also no home advantage which is the biggest factor in Denver's success this season.
One big factor.
Even bets cannot be based with homecourt now. There's no energy being given by the sounds and live streaming crowds that they put there.
Some of them are even sleepy watching the game.  Cheesy

Clippers and Mavericks are still the exciting games.
But Nuggets and Jazz could make it happen too if they go to Game 7.

Score: LAC 83 - 54 MAVS 3rd Quarter.
Update, the game has ended. The score's LAC 154 - 111 Mavs. I think that this series for both teams will go up to game 7.

How many are disappointed with the loss of Mavs for this match? Can't really predict what will be the result of a match.

I'm only disappointed because Kristap Porzingis did not played because of some issue in his knee but the overall game is good especially in the side of LAC where they score 154 and it is a franchise record I think. In the next game I'm sure that the Mavs will beat the LAC and will have a tie in 3-3. Luka Doncic will not let them to be beaten in their current bracket. Luka is proving that he can lift the team so there is still a big chance that they can turn upside down the current series. If KP will return in Game 6 then for me it will gonna be a good game because he is really a great help in the team.

I saw the highlights today and the Mavs are missing their crucial shots. Their star players are not playing their best plays as if that something going on with the team. No Porzingis too which makes them understand how key players are needed to these crucial plays. also, the big thing about their loss is Paul George is unstoppable this time, he is afraid of going to China next season. that's why we see him played today like he used to. And, the Mavericks has made a couple of franchise records today as well.

?? Why would PG be going to China next year?  He has 2 massive cap restricting years on his contract and he is a key cog in the clippers team.  If for some wierd reason he was cut every other team would be lining up to sign him.  Some bad games doesn't mean he will get exhiled from the nba..

it was a shooting night for LAC, it is not easy to score 120 points, then 130, 140, and to score 154 is marvelous, so Mavs did not have a chance last night
not sure, but predict that the series will end on next match, hope that it will not, but it seems that LAC raised a bar a bit, and it is not easy to catch it for Mavs

The LAC and the maverick are currently playing. The 1st quarter ended in this time and the clippers are leading 19 points. Clippers-41 and Mavs-22. It is a big lead for me because the game is still in the 1st half, the good thing is Paul George is now in condition where his FG is now good than before. The past 3 games of Paul George are really bad where he have low field goal percentage. Luka is doing good but it is not enough because KP is still not playing. I hope that the KP knee soreness will heal and able to play properly in the next game. I'm sure that this game is still not decided because there are still a lot of time and there 3 quarters more. Remember that only one mistake, it can change the momentum of the game.
I'm pretty sure they have now the momentum they wanted and they have to grab that until end and with KPs absence  I think Game 5 will be with the Clippers this time and hoping even at Game 6.

Paul George really needs to step up this time because if only Leonard will carry the team that'll be hard for him and they might say goodbye in the first round. I think PG is in good shape now and the past game he had was really worst and without Pat on their side it will be too hard if they don't get this Game 5. By the way, I think Pat will be ready for Game 6 or if Game 7 is anticipated.

Score: LAC 83 - 54 MAVS 3rd Quarter.

So guys, what's you take on the game 5 of the Mavericks vs Clippers?

KP is still not sure if he can play, but without him, do you think Luka would still carry the team?

Let's discuss the most interesting series of the first round.  Smiley

Based on the rhythm this one should go to Clippers again. From what I have seen Clippers are still not organized. I still don't see chemistry in this team which is a real shame. Zubac is my man and would be happy to see him go through to finals, but I think Clippers will need luck to beat Mavs in this series. If they manage to got through they will grow from game to game.

I see this series as a bank vault for Clippers, if they manage to break in they will run with the money, but it is a tough lock to crack to be honest.

Clippers has let game 4 slip out of their hands because they weren't focused enough. And also Doncic pretty much won that game all by himself. Clippers have ton of potential but we just haven't seen them yet playing at their full capacity for a few matches in a row. They should easily win this next 2 matches. I would actually say Dallas is the one that needs a lot of luck if they want to have any chance in this series because they are really counting on KP and Doncic to carry the team and usually when they have a bad match, the whole team follows.

I really like Clippers this game 5 it could've been easily a 3-1 lead for them even if some of their players are struggling to hit their shots.

With the spread moving to 8.5 I favor the Mavs to cover the spread since KP could still play and Clippers only win by 8 points.

Super disappointing in Denver performance here in this series as well as the game right now.  They looked so much better in the season before the restart in the bubble.  They were my dark horse to make a run at the chip but doesn't look like it this year.  Maybe the Harris and Barton injuries really took their toll

I disagree they were good at home but it wasn't lopsided between home and away wins.  I think they have some of the best depth and joker gives them a nice well rounded big. 1 through 8 they are solid.  I really think barton and Harris being out hurt them in their depth which was their strength

For some reason image not working. I'm going Utah over 219 and Clippers ML on 2.4 parlay.
This is what I'm going with tonight. Utah has been scoring 120+ in every game and Denver has to step up if they want to stay in it, this should easily go over the total. Dallas surprisingly won the last match thanks to Doncic brilliance but I really can't see them winning again tonight, especially with Doncic not being 100% and Porzingis out

Dude. Luka!

That OT last shot, the buzzer-beater is hype!

Who has watched Luka's winning shot?

The stats of this kid is lit! 43 points, 17 rebounds and 13 assists

He is now trending in the sports of basketball, that last shot was sick, the guy is cold blooded hitting clutch shots, that's why it's not hard to admire him.
At 21 years old, this guy looks like a veteran and thanks for the coaching stuff for trusting Luka to make the last shot.

They have a good game plan, Kawhi was suppose to guard Luka but that switch made Kawhi trap and Luka got a good mismatch.
He's a cool guy and very much talented.

Just like what we have used to see with other superstars before during their younger years, Luka is also bound to the stardom. As long as he won't have any main injuries in the near future.

He's good to be one of the newest superstars at his young age.

Prior to the playoffs, I already see him as a superstar but it's just fun to see that he has proven his quality during the playoffs. If you've seen social media reaction of some NBA players, you can tell there's much love for Luka, and that is because the guy is so humble despite of the achievement.
Yeah.

The love that's being shown to Luka is different from the younger superstars before. From the other young superstars back in the day, there's much hate from the fans as they don't like those rising stars before.

He will improve more and he's doing it correctly.

Congrats Lakers for a dominant win, that first half was the difference maker, Lillard contribution to this game was very low, was it because he was still feeling that injury he suffered in the past game? I can see where this series is going, I think it's gonna end in 5.

Maybe yes or maybe Lakers already adjusted with him. Plus the fact that the offense of Lakers are working well as  the distributions of ball are well shared, LeBron and Davis leaderships are dominating.
It's hard to defeat Lakers when the entire squad are active and doing their own shared, Pope and Kuzma plus Green outside when start to hears up expect more contributions.

Lebron has never excited in the first round, looks like the trend will continue. If the Blazers will be lucky to win the next game, it would still be the Lakers to win in the series as they are way ahead now, and I guess they will double their effort in game 5 so they can rest early if Jazz would not end the series tonight.

This game is a wrap in game 5.  I can't see how portland gets over being dominated like that.  It looked like a varsity vs jv scrimmage out there.  And with dame hurting its over, it would take a 50-60 dame game to beat the lakers because they just don't have the firepower to compete with the lakers right now

Same here, I think this series was over since it started, didn't even flinched when the Blazers won that game one, Lakers played awful that game and the Blazers were making half-courters to stat ahead. It's nice to see Danny Green and KCP step up for the Lakers, someone finally had to do it.

Can't blame Lillard, he's really good in the offensive end but as a team, they can't guard anyone, they got Carmelo on Lebron who is playing the best basketball we've seen him lately.

In the other side of the bracket, the Bucks are looking like the regular season team that scared everyone, they were on a pace to win 70 games! But I still think that the Raptors win that conference without any issues.

Who do you guys have between the Raptors and Celtics?
