Just to note, here are the NBA Futures (to win title next season) for the teams involved in the big trade:

Cavaliers (+500)
Celtics (+800)

We'll have to see how the Irving-Thomas (and others) swap affect the betting odds and lines.
this would be a nice 1-2 punch both players have its own style the only problem here is how they can defend the boards if both of them inside the floor
and who will manage the ball as we knew that they are both offensive and wanted to play with the ball within their hands.

Everyone seems to get stuck with Irving and change of roster, let's go now for the speculations about the finals. Well everyone looks good to go and each team does have their final roster now, who do you think will have the highest chance to be at the finals, GSW as usual, Cavs, Spurs any other teams that became low profile? with me, Bucks!
I hope Giannis able to find some help with his team mates and if possible bring some stars too if he can be paired with someone who's matured enough
to bring his game to its finest he's still young and I'm looking forward to see him like MJ tried doing his best to be at the top.

Yeah right now he only needs some good additional players from his team. Though he is a good player and versatile one, young and adult are still different. He still lacks of experience and that can be a good way for other adult players to teach him base on their experience.

snip
What can I say, good news, let's stop speculating now.

Yes a very good news, well done Celtics.

Very fresh news with a more reliable source, Irving was acquired by the Boston Celtics... link http://www.nba.com/celtics/news/pressrelease/celtics-acquire-four-time-all-star-kyrie-irving

They are building a great team and remember the Celtics face the cavaliers in the East Finals, this should be an entertaining match up, it's going to be a good motivation for Kyrie Irving that he can beat Lebron James when they face in the East Finals this coming playoffs.

What can I say, good news, let's stop speculating now.

Boston's young guys, Tatum and Brown are a huge upgrade over Crowder and Zizic. They added another all-star in Hayward. And anyone that thinks Thomas is anywhere near the talent Kyrie knows nothing about basketball. Kyrie scored 40 on the Warriors, hit the championship winning 3... IN THE FINALS. Draft picks are hit and miss at best. Cleveland took some guy named Bennett as the #1 overall pick a few years ago, and he isn't even in the league anymore. Celtics got the elite superstar they coveted, and he's only 25. Boston's time is coming very soon, maybe sooner than expected but the Cavs are still pretty much the favorite in the East.
I like to play the cavaliers in the east because as long as Lebron is in the team, they will remain the king in the east.
However, the real beast is in the west, any team that could win the west championship will still be the favorite against the cavaliers because they need to beat the warriors on that matter.

After weeks of waiting, Kyrie Irving is finally traded to Boston in exchange for IT, Crowder and Izic. What do you think of this trades guys?

Confirmed here: https://twitter.com/ShamsCharania/status/900135501012893696

Are the Celtics also the better East contenders now after this reported trade?

I don't think so, Irving isn't a big fish for me, they traded 3 players for only not a good trade for me. I'm more interested about Isaiah Thomas at Cavs and he's going to play with Lebron James. Are there any more chase for the change of roster? I wasn't updated with the NBA for this upcoming season and I guess it will be the last change.
That would not happen, the celtics became a great team when IT was added in the team and he is the main man now.
Do you think the management would allow him to leave? they'll do everything to lure him with money just to stay.

So this is still just an insider and let's wait for the confirmation if this trade is for real. We'll see if he is just for the money, not all players are the same but if Celtics got a loyalty from him then that's better but if the management is the one that wants to release him. Even though how loyal he is he can't do something with it as per the management wants him to push away.

I agree with your comment, he is talented but he is still young with no championship experience. He need to mature and maybe to make that happen soon, he need someone to help him do it, he is like a younger durant but probably a better one IMO.
I'll be watching this kid closely, he was recognize this year and receive a good salary, I hope he'll explore and be more confident.

JH + CP3 in Htown. Supported by Gordon (Reigning 6th Man of the Year), Anderson, and Capela. If they get their groove going this team is gonna be really good.
Are you even trying to purposely miss out the team Minnesota Timberwolves? Because you really don't know the real threat in the west of you don't know the Timberwolves. Having an all star starting 5 namely.
1. Karl-Anthony Towns
2. Jimmy Butler
3. Andrew Wiggins
4. Jeff Teague
5. Taj Gibson
With this starting 5 I don't know how will other teams will defend and attack them on both ends of the floor. They also have a 6th man in Jamal Crawford who is proven us that age is just a number.
That line up looks good in paper but let's see how would that work in the floor, they are all talented but they are surely slow and the warriors ca easily beat them for sure. We have great expectation of the Twolves last season to enter into playoffs but I guess this season they will make it sure.
Good job for getting butler, he is the real MVP of the team based on the way he play in real competition which is in playoffs.

I think otherwise, kyrie should go back to strengthen cavaliers because golden state warriors are becoming too dominant and powerful and I don't see any team in competition except cavaliers and so I'd like to see him there so they can offer competition at least in the final.
No, he won't be getting back to Cavs anymore. What type of player he is if he eats his words alone. It's better for him to look for a better team that will receive him gratefully. Cavs isn't showing interest to him anymore as they have a lot of choice to strengthen the team, I feel pity about him and with his decision's.

Well let's wait and see what might ensue eventually because all we are doing here is a mere speculation without any facts backing them hence we should wait and see what happens in the player transfer market.

Yeah we are just all speculating here. I'm just waiting for the news to come out, articles through online sports news.

So we're still not seeing a Kyrie or Carmelo trade before the season starts?

Still there's no update regarding news about these people.

I want to see Kyrie back at Cavs and play with Lebron. I want to see him play with him not comfortable.

These are pros, they'll work up to it.

Although, I'd like to see Kyrie make up for himself, Miami would be a good choice.

Miami would be a good choice, the question is does Miami have an eye for him? This is hard for Kyrie.

They are pro's but still they can't remove some heart feelings with their play style because it affects the game.

Comfort will be affected too when they play.
It has been a while since we heard anything new about where Kyrie and Melo would eventually go. Aside from the fact that they have preferred destinations, we haven’t seen any new developments on their status. I hope this doesn’t drag too long as this will eventually affect the play once the regular season starts to roll. It would be awkward to see Lebron and Kyrie play alongside each other when Kyrie doesn’t want any part of it anymore.

They just gave their interest on what team they want to land but it seems that there's no progress.

Well I will focus now with some interesting things as this doesn't have any movement at all.

I'll go for now with the Mcgregor and Floyd match.

This is just the calm before the storm. Perhaps we will know the fate of Irving next month as October is the season beginning of NBA. And the team that he has to go will need as least a month to make plays around him and his team mates makes adjustment on Kyrie. We just needed a few weeks before we finally hear what team he transferred.
