I'm really looking for Lebron wearing the gold/yellow and purple jersey. Grin

Well this is the start of the exciting part where we'll see on how would they really react to their new homes.

I am very excited, it's another season and I hope we will be seeing new superstars that will give additional excitement to the game.
There are a lot of changes this season, only the warriors are the team that improves their line up, I like to see other teams compete with them.

Annoying "fans" are talking about the poor performance of LeBron James of Los Angeles Lakers and Gordon Hayward of Boston Celtics.

Those "fans" really need some basketball education lol. Why expecting too much for some of the players in the pre-season? Pre-season games are designed to test the waters especially for the team that composed of new players so that when official season starts, somehow there's already a build up chemistry.

No need to force to win every pre-season games as everyone's target must remained healthy once season starts.

I don't know if it just pre-season and teams are trying out new lineups/rotations but Toronto yesterday started with only one big man, Ibaka at the 5. Vavalanciunas came off the bench. I was wondering whether this will be in fact their starting 5 at the beginning of the new season. They could potentially match up well with Boston as they start with one big man too and a couple versatile wings. Going small has been a trend the last couple of years. Seems like more and more teams prefer to spread the floor with shooters.

Well, it is just the start of the new Season, and it is really exciting seeing them play again even if they lost to Wolves. I guess they are still not that heated up for the first game, just like they are still not serious. I am not a fan of GSW the reason I am saying this but I do want to see again the players play. Boston lost to Hornets, I Missed the handles of Kyrie though they still have a great game against Hornets.

Its only pre season and their star players didnt play on the 4th quarter. Pre season is not the basis. Its the whole season.

I believe that this the preseason will be the time for Warriors bench to step up. Their star players will sit most of the time and watch the bench so that they know how the bench will play against them.

It is just like a tune up game.
You know how they want their players safety first.
Injuries takes a long time to heal so they would not want that to happen with a game just like that.
They use their bench player more to see their potentials but yet the other team also does the same so it is like bringing out their skill to maybe get a spot for the 2nd team when the season starts.

Nobody takes pre-season games seriously, unless you are 4th string guy fighting for a roster spot. Don't forget that GSW had the lead up until 4th q where it was bench v bench players.

Thanks for the update Mamba. I am one of the fans of the Suns at Steve Nash times and now with Booker who had been a great offensive player.

For me, preseason doesn't matter when it comes of statistic or team standing. It's clearly for part of improvement and practicing for the upcoming regular season. For now, let us predict who will be the 2018-19 NBA Champion this Season. For me again, the Phoenix Suns will be the Champion may be because of their number 1 Pick this year Deandre Ayton and new players from other teams like Ryan Anderson and Trevor Ariza (Houston Rockets) and the young core Devin Booker.

It's pre season dude. Don't expect teams to field in their top players and risk getting them injured evem before the regular season starts. This will be a venue for rookies and draftees to show their stuff.

Lets not overreact on the preseason matches because we all know no one really plays 100% on preseason but you can see some stuff there.

For example you can see hayward seems like he recovered very well but he looks like he lost a step and gained some pounds, he was never the most athletic player out there but getting chubby would mean bad things for him so with the upcoming season he needs to start working on conditioning a lot, more than others.

You see jaylen brown having amazing defensive year this season is possibility and I think kyrie is as healthy as it gets, it is going to be a beastly year for celtics with lebron gone from east. I really really really hope a lakers vs celtics, lebron vs kyrie finals but I doubt we will ever get it.

Yeah they showed a lot of improvement last season and with the addition of the veterans especially LeBron, they will improve more this season and in the next seasons. I believe these young players will be an all star player.

Western Conference has a better competition indeed because they have many good players compare to East. Lakers' young players will be challenged now if they can cope up with the players of West.

Hell yeah, finally some action. These second half turnarounds will be quite common if you ask me, as starters get to play no more than 15-20min per game.

Glad to see Hayward back on the court after that horrific injury. I was overly impressed with Miles Bridges in the last 5 min of the game, Clippers might regret trading him.

On a side note, how shocking is to see Tony Parker in Hornets jersey Shocked
