He will still need to go through physical exams though if this is what he is aiming for. But there will be doubts for teams and this could be a risk for them. A 1 year contract might not be bad just to test it.

Man I understand Chris bosh really loves basketball and he wants to be a part of NBA once again however its really not going well for him on health part so the way he is trying to push his way to death seems really tragic. I understand the medical tech is improving and he can probably play like 10 minutes a game time to time with some breaks between back to back games but does it really worth the risk? I understand the love for the game however this is life or death we are talking about.

He wants to play because he wants money, he is not getting any younger and it will be a big adjustment for him since he has not been
playing a long time already. He is willing to take the risk again but if he fails again, I think no think will sign him anymore.

You get it right buds, we can't compare two persons characteristic about loving the game of basketball, they have separated views and for sure Mavs seen the potentials out of Dirk desire to still play the game, even both players have its own good influence for their respected teams they have their owned values, Dirk and Tim are both have rings and MVP's so for sure loving this league always have a good place inside their hearts.

and make yourself to busy which isnt really necessary but though this would always matter with passion in basketball.

David West could have played in some other team tho. I mean the reason why he retired is not just that he can't play with his body anymore or anything it was multiple reasons.

First of all David west is a great investor and he made more money with his investments than his career salary earnings, he is making really good money even after retirement and nba salary won't make a huge difference (of course its big but he won't be broke like some other) so he doesn't need to play for economical reasons, he also wanted to win a ring and went to spurs first and now at warriors he won couple rings as well. With the retirement of West, I think only 6 or 7 players remained now to that famous 2003-04 draft that is actively playing until now. If Im not mistaken.

West has become an all star player when he is on the Pacers. I remember the time when the Pacers team composed of West, PG, Hill, Hibbert etc. They are a good team and can compete against the Heat where James, Wade and Bosh are there.

I think West has fulfilled what he has to fulfill. Contribute to the team and have championship but I didnt expect that he will retire now since he can contribute his vetetan experience in Warriors.

Of course, as NBA fans we have our own opinions, I guess majority of us seen this coming. And he has nothing to proved, he already have a ring, his not in his prime and he doesn't want to be seriously hurt, so its better to quit right now and enjoy his hard earn money. Who knows he might be back in the NBA not in uniform but involved from behind.

Yeah and i don't think his inspiration should be undermined since it does boost a team's morale more than anything. And he can stil deliver when called on that's for sure. Greats like dirk and manu know when a team still has a use for them and if dirk feels he can still contribute, then i think he has the team's full support.

That is a sure shot for Dirk if the play will be on the halfcourt. Either 3 or 2 it will get in, specially when it is much needed.

We may not see it now due to his low stamina that will also pull the offensive awareness of him.
Old age will be there but those hands will be kept until he gets old. It was an artwork of his trainor that made him like a monster on the league. I remember that guy crying when Dirk hits the 30k points mark.

One more thing is they could share their experiences from all that years they have played just like a coach.
It is not a bad thing to have a veteran on one team. It is actually a good one.
Sharing their ideas and also plays that they have been thru from clinch moments.

During the era of multiple superstars getting together to win, remembering the time dirk and some role players won it really brings a lot more meaning to that championship, but he is playing only because of that rings worth, otherwise he would have been already forced to cut with the way he plays. Vince as well, both of them are not contributing to their teams like they used to, they are just playing because they were once amazing players.

It's impressive how long Dirk and Vince Cater have been able to play. You don't see many 40 year olds with the athleticism that Vince Carter still has. VC's own cousin Tracy Mcgrady had to retire at the age of 34 and Kobe Bryant could barely even make it up and down the court at age 37. Carter is a true genetic freak, I've seen some amazing highlights of him still dunking at age 40.

One of the good backup player of the Golden State Warriors. These guy have an overall 4 teams he played on his whole career and got 2 rings in his final 2 season with the Golden State Warriors (2016–2018). Unlike other players who earned their rings without effort*, we all know that West contributes much in Warriors so I will say that he really deserved those rings.

With the retirement of West, I think only 6 or 7 players remained now to that famous 2003-04 draft that is actively playing until now. If Im not mistaken.

West has become an all star player when he is on the Pacers. I remember the time when the Pacers team composed of West, PG, Hill, Hibbert etc. They are a good team and can compete against the Heat where James, Wade and Bosh are there.

I think West has fulfilled what he has to fulfill. Contribute to the team and have championship but I didnt expect that he will retire now since he can contribute his vetetan experience in Warriors.

Yeah but you will noticed that he is a bit tad slow with the rest of the GSW and the rest of the NBA. Perhaps its really up for him to retire and maybe getting another last year with the final straw to finished his long career. He got want he wanted as a GSW so its time for him to hang his jersey.
