It was a very close game between Cavs and the blazers ,  as I predicted a Cavaliers win , there was an opportunity but was very hard , LeBron James played big time game as usual scoring 35 points , 14 rebounds but still can't carry the team only by his own , he needs help from other players , we expect the comeback of Kevin love being healthy to help LeBron , but I think J.R Smith should do better than this poor games that he's playing right now . Any way the Cavs shouldn't be worried for playoffs qualification but some improvement specially in defence should be done .

Any superstars need help from their teammates. Smiley LeBron James production is good overall it's just that less productivity was being made by this teammates. They are lacking of big men too (Tristan Thompson & Larry Nance Jr. ) that increase the difficulty of winning the game.

But on the other hand, Portland Trail Blazers really played great so no questioned at all why they won. CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard combined for 53 points and that is really a kind of a monster performance by them. One of the great duos in the league.

Cavaliers bench is enjoying watching James and his monstrous jam that they totally forgot that they are in a game. Lol.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOMs08B84aY

Kidding aside, the injury of Cavaliers side has contributed to their lost. And then the bench players can't get anything going and James has to take over, unfortunately it was not enough as CJ and Damian for another perfect performance. Make it 12 now at this will be facing Detroit next game.

Damn San Antonio Spurs! They need to mostly win their remaining games. I want to see them in playoffs as NBA usual playoffs is composed of teams together with San Antonio Spurs. Can't imagined this team will not reached the playoffs anymore. I want them badly even on 8th spot. But others teams are getting a hard play too for that last spot.

Hope Spurs can nailed this time and will not end their playoffs streak for I don't know how long it was already.

How long it was now? Here's some of the happenings that might give you an insights on how long it was now for the Spurs to be in playoffs: Smiley

-Nintendo64 was just released
-Bill Clinton was the president of the US
-Google didn't exist
-Titanic was the top movie
-Pokemon was just introduced
-Harry Potter didn't exist
-Kawhi Leonard was in kindergarten
-Tim Duncan was finishing college
-Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson and Steve Nash were rookies
-Lonzo Ball wasn't even born

Just saw it somewhere. Cheesy Did you imagined now how long the playoffs streak of San Antonio Spurs? Cheesy

A big WOW for the San Antonio Spurs.

Here is a good fight below.

6.76ers - 37-30 - Just won last night against NY Knicks. They are tough but 76ers played incredible in the 4th. I got so excited with this game. Again Ben Simmons with the triple double. He is really like Magic.
7. Bucks - 36-32 - A hurtful lost against the Orlando Magic.
8. Heat - 36-33 - Now this hurts more with a lost from the Kings.

A tactic could be created here. Who they want to fight? The strong and fast Raptors who is now on winning streak or the perseverance and young roster of the Celtics.

There's no such thing as being "old" for Coach Pop Smiley . His mind is still the Pop we have to used to know.

Yes they have chances and like I said above, they can outperformed those teams I mentioned to battle for 7 or even at last spot. Im seeing Houston Rockets, Golden State Warriors, Oklahoma City Thunders and Minnesota Timberwolves are teams that can give a hard time for San Antonio Spurs to win. And the rest, surely they have chances.

Overall they must do 10-4 win loss record in their upcoming games for much greater chances to see them at playoffs.

I see an interesting game tonight between Cleveland Cavaliers and Portland trail blazers , the blazers are in a serie of 10 straight wins , they are strong team specially home playing , the won the Golden state warriors 2 times with big score at home the last month so I think everybody is betting on them to win tonight . For my point of view I have something else to say , I see perhaps the Cavs stopping this winning streak specially that they show us after the trade that they love winning big games outside of Ohio , they won away games more than home games since they made the trade and against big teams already so I am assuming that they could do it as well tonight and besides that the odd is good 3/1 . It's risky but  not difficult I guess .

Yes, its gonna be another interesting game to watch. I also have the same hunch that probably Cavs will stop them on their tracks. The odds is really good that's why we should take this opportunity. Every team want's to end someone's winning streak. Similar to a call I made before that Toronto will snapped Houston's 17 game winning streak. They have the correct pieces and if they fall on the correct places, its gonna be a big win and a morale booster as well for the Cavs.

It's really an interesting game, and Cleveland's quote is very intriguing.
another very interesting match is Houston vs. Los Angeles Clippers.
The victory of the Clippers is quoted 7, hard but not impossible

Cavaliers do have the chance but would really be on slim chances. They are really good on playing when they are on away side but not still an assurance that it would be applicable to Portland. This is a game where outcomes cant really be determined as long it isn't finished yet.On making bets I would go for Portland this time.I have seen their plays and thinking off they won against warriors which we can presume out the capability in between both teams.

I think that Denver last 7 games will be all road games so its gonna be tough for them to get the last playoff spot.

A total of 9 road games on which some of them are dominant teams. And for a total 14 remaining games Im seeing that 10 teams here will be tough for them so I chances of getting playoff spot for them has really low chance "as of now".

It's also been a first time to me to see that San Antonio Spurs is fighting for the bottom playoffs spot. It's not possible to win all of their remaining games but competing with Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Lakers (surely they will be eliminated), New Orleans Pelicans, Minnesota Timberwolves, LA Clippers, Utah Jazz , at least they can have a chance to seal a playoffs spot. Greg Popovich playoffs appearance streak is one of the longest in the league so it's quiet regrettable to see that no more playoffs appearance to them.

Really a big changed.
Lots of us do really noticed such changes and same as yours this is the first time i do see Spurs striving for the bottom slot.I didnt expect for this strong team to have such hardship.Talking about on remaining teams i can say that i dont really have any hopes that they would able to pass through but who knows the ball is circle and might able to see unexpected things.  Cool

it's really strange for San Antonio to risk not participating in the Playoffs!
San Antonio since 1998 for 20 years consecutively has always participated in the playoffs!
unfortunately the injury of his best player Leonard is determining this result.
It's time for them to rest now, or maybe Pop because he is already old.
If they will not make it this season, we still cannot erase the fact that coach pop is a legend, but since they still have a chance, let us not
make a conclusion first, however their chance to win against the warriors or the rockets would be very small.

There's no such thing as being "old" for Coach Pop Smiley . His mind is still the Pop we have to used to know.

Only carabao's do grow old  Grin. They might not able to get through on the playoffs spot then they dont have any choice but to take some time to relax and results would really vary on how they would perform on the remaining games and as you said they must really do a 10-4 to see some light but my instincts an intuition tell me that they wont make it through but well its still early to judge.

Here are the current insights about what will be the playoffs tree:

West

Rockets (1) vs. Jazz ( 8 )
Thunder (4) vs. Pelicans (5)
Blazers (3) vs. Timberwolves (6)
Warriors (2) vs. Clippers (7)

Spurs (9), Nuggets (10)

East

Raptors (1) vs. Heat ( 8 )
Cavaliers (4) vs. Wizards (5)
Pacers (3) vs. Sixers (6)
Celtics (2) vs. Bucks (7)

New Orleans really did great this season and Im surprised they sealed a good playoffs spot on the strong Western Conference.

Can't believe wizards almost lost to a depleted Boston.  Wizards aren't go far

We all know that the bench of Boston is still a team to beat but given the fact that Wizards' is complete, I don't get it why are they having a hard time to get through Boston. Two overtime is a big hurt for Boston's lineup most of them probably ran out of gas but kudos to them, they didn't give Wizards an easy game. Wizards must adjust for sure, If they can't have an easy win with a depleted lineup then It' would be a challenge to them if they face a much more complete lineup.
Boston knows how to play defense while the wizards relies heavily on their offense.
In the playoffs where it's a harder challenges for the team, what makes the team wins is the balance defense and offense and that is the
things that the Wizards should figure out if they want to stay longer or win the championship.
Yes Indeed, Boston knows how to play from both ends, I think it's been the long problem with wizard they always relied with their offensive capabilities
but still lack with their defense, the league already been upgraded most of the teams improved their benches, so if wizard wanted to advance to the semis
they needed to adjust with both offense and defense to be more competitive.

Boston are playing at home so they have the crowd, wizards are not really a good team or shall I say a not consistent team.
Definitely they will face in the playoffs again if they survive the first round, then that would be the time where we will see which is the better team.

Also, the Boston had already secured the spot and I think they will take the no. 2 spot as the Raptors are consistently winning.
