2018 Champions will be, either Houston Rockets or Golden State Warriors. The most powerful teams in the West, even in the league as a whole. No doubt they will be in the Western Conference Finals if they are the first or the second seed. Tongue

Congratulations to Sacramento Kings for winning against the most favored team in the league (Golden State Warriors).

Score: 93-98

GSW without their main players. Team is complete garbage without them.
With main players or without, it's still GSW.

Maybe some fans would not like this outcome but  I notice that it's always either Golden State Warriors who will win or  any team where Lebron James is currently playing for.
Not at all, still the league is still basing on the performance. And not all the games GSW or any team where Lebron is also experiencing some major losses.

That is not always, the Cavaliers were once became a champion and beat the warriors at their home court.
If we based at the current performance of the cavaliers, we can tell that they have a little chance but when playoffs comes, the intensity
will be high and it will be more about adjustments after adjustments.

Raptors finally lost but I'm with Portland to keep it going
Raptors lose the game today from Oklahoma, we knew that they already have a comfortable seat coming to the playoffs, okc still working with their
position to have a much better match so they needed more games to win, west have a lots of competition while in the east we see much lesser, as
the playoffs is nearly approaching more exciting games will be expected as players and teams will showcase their talents to survive the eliminations.

I didn't watched the game but it looks like it turns ugly on the dying seconds. There are a lot of players thrown out including the coach. Dwane Casey, DeMar DeRozan and Serge Ibaka, who were all ejected with 8.1 seconds left. Even though we already knew that they are playoff bounds, its much better to preserved their winning streak because they are aiming at a franchise record win here. And with bad officiating (according to them), it cost them this game.

Note: Carmelo Anthony passed Reggie Miller and get to 19th position all time scoring list.

Truth hurts, without the splash brothers and KD they are a below average team and they even might replace Memphis at the bottom of west standings. Though, at least warriors didn't give them an easy win. The 2nd lineup of the warriors is still on the process of finding there chemistry and stuff. But as soon as they gained it, it is sure that they can provide a quality plays and for a win.

This season are getting more excitement. With the new format in the playoffs, probably these will bring even more popular for the number one sports in the world. The teams are getting better and better and this time no one can sure who will meet in the finals.
Yes, we are more excited to watch games nowadays in the NBA because it is almost playoff times. You said they have new format, can you elaborate what is the new format in the NBA?

Congratulations to them yes, but they were without their best players (Curry, Durant, Thompson). Without them they are just an average team.
But, it is really nice to see Kings winning, not tanking.

Totally agreed with you there.
Without leader Stephen Curry at the helm they are lost on the court.
Steve Kerr thought that Kevin Durant will be enough if they lost him due to injury but he is out for the next two weeks as well. Embarrassed
So no Curry, Thompson or Durant for their game against the surprising Phoenix Suns team that actually have a chance to beat the Warriors this day. Devin Booker will have a handful but he is a damn good player in he clutch while Goldenstate has just the bench warmers to put in the game now. Undecided

I don't know if Cavaliers can manage to prepare for Playoffs on right way. Currently, they don't look like a team that can compete for NBA Finals. It will be interesting to watch them in the last matches of the regular season.

Definitely, Portland, Toronto, and Boston are the team to beat (for me) in the east. Well, everything change once the POs started. We all know that Lebron's game in the POs is quite different from his regular season.

Spurs must win there remaining games to keep there dreams alive. Though, It's quite hard for them but it's a must. The return of Kawhi would give them the push to play harder and smarter but that doesn't secure them for a spot. Still hoping for the best for Spurs, especially this could be the last year of Manu.
*Portland Trailblazers is a Western Conference Team and they are currently in the 3rd which comes right after the Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors. I don't know where you find out that Portland is on the East but that is purely wrong. No matter how Lebron's play off efforts are if he is always carrying his team on his back his efforts would be wasted. We cannot hide the fact but we all know why the team traded majority of its players it is because they don't have the chemistry to win a championship.
Clearly the TrailBlazers is from West and they are more better now compared to the previous years.
Teams like warriors and cavaliers have been struggling due to injury but we have to notice the Portland TrailBlazers because they
continue to progress and I think this playoff they have a shot to win and beat the Rockets or the warriors.

Damn San Antonio Spurs! They need to mostly win their remaining games. I want to see them in playoffs as NBA usual playoffs is composed of teams together with San Antonio Spurs. Can't imagined this team will not reached the playoffs anymore. I want them badly even on 8th spot. But others teams are getting a hard play too for that last spot.

Hope Spurs can nailed this time and will not end their playoffs streak for I don't know how long it was already.

How long it was now? Here's some of the happenings that might give you an insights on how long it was now for the Spurs to be in playoffs: Smiley

-Nintendo64 was just released
-Bill Clinton was the president of the US
-Google didn't exist
-Titanic was the top movie
-Pokemon was just introduced
-Harry Potter didn't exist
-Kawhi Leonard was in kindergarten
-Tim Duncan was finishing college
-Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson and Steve Nash were rookies
-Lonzo Ball wasn't even born

Just saw it somewhere. Cheesy Did you imagined now how long the playoffs streak of San Antonio Spurs? Cheesy

That was insane. Speaking of record though, I dig some and here's what I found out:

http://www.lakersnation.com/this-day-lakers-history-kobe-bryant-starts-50-point-streak-with-65-points-overtime-blazers/2018/03/16/

I still remember that day when Kobe was scorching hot and almost hitting all shots. And as the articles states, it started his run of 50 points or more in 4 straight games.

It was a very close game between Cavs and the blazers
It was close and intense fight. Portland Blazers managed to take the lead and momentum with 2nd and 3rd quarters.
Deym! This is a very powerful offensive as expected with Lebron James, he's doing this all of the time. Fans and bench people went nuts.  Grin
