The Cleveland Cavaliers just won a tough battle against the Eastern Conference leader Toronto Raptors and it just shows what this team is capable of come playoff times.
My heart is pounding like crazy when it was at the last minute of the game.

It is a hard fought game but the Cavs can really do it.
Speed.
Toronto is more of that and Cleveland before just got Lebron who can really sprint coast to coast.
Now with the addition of the new young players, somehow they could battle with it.
Kevin Love is also back which made a lot of difference. 23 points and 12 rebounds. That is the damn Kevin Love that I knew.  Grin
The cav's was different together with love, though it's lebron do the rest but in terms of maturity, lebron played well together with love and smith,
we are seeing different cav's now since new young guns additions, they can run as they are fresh legs, if lebron love and smith continue to play
this way together with  clarkson , hill and nance jr, then spot to the finals still open for this team.

Those young guns are a perfect addition to the team. I dont see Cavs as an championship caliber team with stacked veteran former superstars, with lack of ball rotation and defense. This time Cavs are in a different form, they are capable of beating all the power house team in the west if they can perfectly gel together in the post season.

A very bad game for both Houston Rockets and Detroit Pistons.
Both have a low percentage of shooting. Even free throws dont even work much. Only Gordon works on Houston and not much with the Pistons.
It is just with the overtime where Harden works that gave the Houston a good win in the end.

This is not how Houston plays even if Chris Paul is out. I hope he gets well when the playoffs starts.

Dwight Howard monster performance helps the Charlotte Hornets snatch a win. It's not about the playoffs spot but one great thing happened in this game is Dwight Howard's record. He produced 32 points and 30 rebounds Shocked on that game and became a 3rd player in the NBA history to produced a 30-30 points+rebound on a single game.

But unfortunately he was being suspended for one game, not for that record (it's a lol) but for getting the 16th technical foul this season. Well it's a NBA rule that once a player reached 16th technical foul for that season, it will be an automatic suspension the next game.

Missin the prime Dwight Howard because of that performance. Smiley

yes, it is an amazing performance!
there were 8 players in Nba with at least 30 points + 30 rebounds: in 2010 Kevin love, Karl Malone in 1982 while Wilt Chamberlain did 124 times at least 30 points + 30rebounds!
He is good no question but he is inconsistent, I think Charlotte will miss the playoffs this year but they are very consistent in the past years.
I don't now if with howard in this team they can still improve, by the way, good thing that Howard played a lot of games this season.

When it comes to speed then Lebron can really do such thing this is why hes really capable on any positions together with a good support or tandem with Love you can really see the coordination within the team.We do have the same feeling into those last minutes of the entire game. Its really tough but they actually did it in the end.Kevin love's comeback do somehow give a difference with this game.

Well everyone knows that a team with an efficient lebron would be capable of beating anyone. Though i don't think that game is any indication of what to expect in the playoffs but teams are different now from last season, including the cavs.
An efficient Lebron James who has capable helpers like Love in the team are capable of doing anything that's why the Golden State Warriors are such a formidable team because they have three World Class starters in their team alone.

Last night game between Boston Celtics and Oklahoma city thunder was just an amazing game to watch , till the last minute I really thought that Oklahoma will win this game but the Celtics has the last word in the end , it was a magnificent comeback from them and that last 3 point shoot was incredible , I love this kind of games when you never know who's going to win till the last second but for sure the Celtics did show the importance of their bench and their collective play .

Oklahoma City Thunders have a chance to sealed the game at the few seconds remaining but Carmelo Anthony missed that 2 free throws that supposedly will give them a 4 point lead with I think 3 or 4 seconds remaining if I remember it correctly. If he nailed it and even Boston Celtics will able to have a quick 3, it's so hard for them to snatch a game because of the dead clock. Unfortunately, Melo missed that 2 bonus shot and Boston Celtics able to have a quick run on the other side of a court for a quick three that gave them a lead.

With that "choke" performance of Melo as other sayings at the dying seconds, he is on the hot seat of lots of trashtalkers for Thunders and Melo haters yesterday not realizing that it was a team loss because there are set of missed free throws too on important seconds before Melo did.

But it will be him who is most seen because of the crucial time. His team might side with him but not the crowd and also the critics.
The management might also think of it as a weakness of the Thunders if ever they go to a crucial one again in the playoffs.
There will be a lot of substitutions and they will take out Anthony to avoid it to happen again.

Playoffs is near, Pelicans or Spurs in their bracket will give them a hard time and every point will be crucial.
The Spurs though, what team are they avoiding. You cannot just predict that mysterious mind of Pops.
You can not blame carmelo Anthony for that loss , he's not the only one who missed free throws in that game even Russell Westbrook and Paul George missed also . You can't even blame the whole team because they played a big time game and missed the win by a extraordinary play from the Celtics in that few last seconds . Both teams deserved to win but in the end only one team could win . So both teams deserve respect .

Did I blamed them? Read again. You just repeat what I said:

Today the spurs won against the Wizards, the wining the streak that they are enjoying now is good so they can be in the playoffs.
They are on number 6 on Western Conference other than that, I have read somewhere that Manu Ginobili said "He's not coming back" this is sad for the team though.

San Antonio Spurs is alive and kicking! Looks like the playoffs appearance streak will continue.

I think you have a missing word on your post, Kawhi Leonard is the one that Manu Ginobilli is pointing out on that recent statement and not himself. Smiley

It's a good run for the Spurs, especially bouncing back from a losing streak and securing a spot for the POs. Well, there are already a lot of rumors that this would be the last season of Manu. It's sad not only for the team but also to those fans that were there since day 1. Manu Ginobili already contributed a lot and made a mark on and off the court. I hate to see him retire but its part of the game, "Your mind still want to continue but your body isn't saying the same."

Well let's just hope for the best for the Spurs. Once Kawhi get back by the time of POs then western conference will be exciting.

James harden threw two incredible three-pointers at the last minute to kill the game!

Portland trail blazers in the back field double - ball 3-pointers 10 shots!

That's the difference between a superstar and a star!

The MVP belongs to harden!

NBA Champions: Houston Rockets
MVP: James Harden
This season is belong to them.

Well, Rockets is a team to beat for sure. Though, POs is yet another story to unfold. We all know that every qualified team has different preparations once the POs started. Rockets still have a long way to the top, especially that GSW is on their path. On the other side, We have Cavs, Boston, and raptors, these teams won't be that easy to defeat especially the Cavs. Lebron, as we all know, is somehow different at POs. Let's just hope that he won't choke.
I am sure that Houston rockets is a very good pretender for the NBA title if they pass-through the warriors , James harden is the season MVP with not doubt , he was amazing the whole season and the rockets results are with big part because of him .
Now talking about LeBron James , we know that he became unstoppable during the playoffs and definitely he will not choke , I think during big events and games he only didn't show up only in the finals against Dallas Mavericks playing with Miami so I think this will never happen again , the king is the king .

Surely Harden and Houston dominated this regular season, but the playoffs are another story!
I am always convinced that if Golden State will recover the injured is the team favored for the victory of the ring.

Good for the spurs to be again competitive specially without the services of kawhi Leonard , it would be much easier for them to reach the playoffs if he could play but still Gregg popovic have the secret of success .

I'm a Spurs fan and I believe that Spurs team is not a 1 man team just like other teams. Gregg Pop always considers teamwork and not the individual skills that's why the ball movement when Spurs is playing is good and they can beat even the top teams without the presence of their star player since the beginning before Kawhi Leonard incident. They are the BEST team IMHO.

About the Cavs winning against the number one seed the Toronto raptors I think that was a very good game for the team spirit of the Cavaliers , king LeBron James did his best as always and he gets help from Kevin love and George hill , with the addition of Rodney hood and Larry Nance Jr a think the Cavs still have a chance to go to the finals again .

Cavs will surely get the Western Spot since Lebron James Gameplay is very different in playoffs compared to the regular season. Raptors and Boston will just be a piece of cake to Cavs just like what happened last year when Cavs defeat the number 1 seed that time. Lebron James is still on prime.
