Last night game between Boston Celtics and Oklahoma city thunder was just an amazing game to watch , till the last minute I really thought that Oklahoma will win this game but the Celtics has the last word in the end , it was a magnificent comeback from them and that last 3 point shoot was incredible , I love this kind of games when you never know who's going to win till the last second but for sure the Celtics did show the importance of their bench and their collective play .

Oklahoma City Thunders have a chance to sealed the game at the few seconds remaining but Carmelo Anthony missed that 2 free throws that supposedly will give them a 4 point lead with I think 3 or 4 seconds remaining if I remember it correctly. If he nailed it and even Boston Celtics will able to have a quick 3, it's so hard for them to snatch a game because of the dead clock. Unfortunately, Melo missed that 2 bonus shot and Boston Celtics able to have a quick run on the other side of a court for a quick three that gave them a lead.

With that "choke" performance of Melo as other sayings at the dying seconds, he is on the hot seat of lots of trashtalkers for Thunders and Melo haters yesterday not realizing that it was a team loss because there are set of missed free throws too on important seconds before Melo did.

But it will be him who is most seen because of the crucial time. His team might side with him but not the crowd and also the critics.
The management might also think of it as a weakness of the Thunders if ever they go to a crucial one again in the playoffs.
There will be a lot of substitutions and they will take out Anthony to avoid it to happen again.

Playoffs is near, Pelicans or Spurs in their bracket will give them a hard time and every point will be crucial.
The Spurs though, what team are they avoiding. You cannot just predict that mysterious mind of Pops.
You can not blame carmelo Anthony for that loss , he's not the only one who missed free throws in that game even Russell Westbrook and Paul George missed also . You can't even blame the whole team because they played a big time game and missed the win by a extraordinary play from the Celtics in that few last seconds . Both teams deserved to win but in the end only one team could win . So both teams deserve respect .

Both teams do really give a magnificent performance but we all know there would only be 1 winner.I do have the same thoughts on where Thunder would be the winner but situation turn upside down. Comeback is real and that 3 point shot do really give an impact. Chances is always there like a ball on where it can anytime turn around and this is why basketball is very entertaining for me. Competing to each other with very thrilling plays and chances.

James harden threw two incredible three-pointers at the last minute to kill the game!

Portland trail blazers in the back field double - ball 3-pointers 10 shots!

That's the difference between a superstar and a star!

The MVP belongs to harden!

NBA Champions: Houston Rockets
MVP: James Harden
This season is belong to them.

I really starting to see the James Harden winning the regular MVP because of his performance this season. This time, its their turn to end up someone winning streak, and its sad that Portland doesn't have enough answer to Harden. Its really like playoff atmosphere do and lives to it hype as no one really knows who gonna win until Harden took over. At the backcourt, 2 of the best players on the opposite team, Lillard and CJ McCollum against CP3 and Harden going at it. However, its still early to say that they will be the NBA Champions, remember we still have the Golden State Warriors, Toronto, Celtics who are really strong but I have to admit that they are the favorites now.

Well chris paul obviously is the difference maker here but if you can remember last season, harden was actually as phenomenal as he is today. And then playoff period came and suddenly it seems the guy just went missing. Playoffs will have a different atmosphere that can sometimes unnerve superstars.

Don't be so hasty mate, there are still some other players that can be a contender but if he got it then he deserve it.

With the homecourt advantage of Portland Trail Blazers still JH managed to give his best shot for the last minute, demn! Still props to Portland Trail Blazers they've gained my admiration to them.

Well having a best record is nothing if you don't win the championship ring. Just recently Warriors did the same (73-9/2015-2016, beating their opponents and dominating them. And then they face James and the Cavs, losing at the end, and setting another record as well, became the first team in NBA history to give up a 3–1 lead in the Finals.  Grin

So for me, if Houston choke at the playoffs remain to be seen. Of course its better to be the top seed in the East to gain homework advantage, but if you lose at the end then there's nothing to be proud of your record breaking season without a ring on your finger.

You're right. I think the Houston rockets are ready for the playoffs!

When they make sure the league's first record, I believe they will let some of the main players rest!

I believe the rockets can reach the finals!
There is a big difference in the playoffs and we know that Harden is a choker, good thing now that he has Paul with him
whom I think is a tough guy, he can support the scoring and sharing the ball at the same time, I would say they are a legit contender this season.
Houston Rockets are in good shape right now seeing number 1 at the west. Luckily they have a better team member than a previous year. If today's game if they can surpass the Portland Trail Blazer I think they have a better chance's on getting into finals.
They did get past them but nearly lost Chris Paul in the process. As they had the lead with one second left but CP went up for a shot and landed with a grimace on his face. Did not look good going out winning the game like that.
He did look fine in the post interview though.
Harden and him are a wreaking crew as CP just lands 3's like it is nobodies business and James is James serious plays in the clutch.

If rockets will continue being healthy as a team, then chances to be in the finals is not impossible, harden and paul got a very good combinations
and the rest of their team mates really providing them a good rest when its needed, they are now in the number one position and they really showing
a good and competitive game.

Things will be more interesting, the regular season is almost done and teams are really improving from time to time.
We have some exciting match up to watch for during the playoffs, if the Rockets will face the warriors, I am seeing a very competitive game.
I might bet on the Rockets as they have home court advantage and since the warriors is the defending champion, they will surely be the favorites in the series.

This year is a season of opposites.
Golden state sucks.
Cleveland sucks.
San antonio is not stable at winning games.
Portland looks decent.
Houston is going to rock.
Raptors might actually make it past the first round of the playoffs. Cheesy

Raptors are going to the finals this year. No bought haha.

Looks like denvers chances are over. Losing to Memphis and now can't wake up to beat Miami. They are done
Too early for raptors being favored into the finals, we knew that boston and cavs still a team to compete, though they played so well and being number  1
are assuring them to the next round, the league are really fun now to watch as teams really improved and showing their desire to be able to advance to
the next round, the finals will be more unpredictable with rockets and raptors showing the lead at the opposite sides.
Raptors are looking like they are ready for the playoffs.
They just spanked Orlando at home not allowing to score for the first 8 minutes of the fourth quarter. What a disgrace way to be playing but Toronto is good at defense when they want to be.
For the final 2 minutes of the game they sat all their top players on the bench confident they would win the rest of the game putting in the bench warmers.
LOL!
Another win for them, I was suppose to bet for the Magic knowing their star player are not playing but I realize
how shitty this orlando team is right now. Anyway, since the playoffs is nearing, I think the Raptors really want to win every game so
they will remain in the top.

Not in playoffs game yet, I think every team that has secured playoffs ticket not take remaining regular season games too seriously to avoid injury so we will not see dogfight game for the rest of regular season.

I don't think so. I agree that some coaches tend to rest their key players, but they should also not let there players lose that kind of winning attitude. So they should not take some games likely or intentionally losing games because it will lose their momentum. And as a coach, you need to balance everything. One coach that I admire doing it is coach Pop. That's why they have been in the playoffs for so many years and won championships.

Well this actually make sense. You got a good record but you don't own the championship ring for this season. But still you played during the season. This season is still a long way to go after the play offs and many things can change even the best in records / standing still can lose and can be eliminated.
