It is what everyone expected on how this game is going to end. 140-88. The game truly changed a lot and Celtics on this game shown how consistent they are, mostly their key players.

Now, it's just a question on how this will translate for the Celtics in the playoff, can they still dominate opponents that they are going to face in the playoff and continue their magical season? Or will they choke like 2 years ago when they face the Warriors in the finals and lost the series? No doubt that they are going to win the Eastern conference, maybe 8+ games or more against the number two. But still a long way to go for them and all will be answered come playoff time.

That remains to be seen as the playoffs are certainly a different atmosphere. It's not guaranteed that because the Celtics are doing some exceptional job this regular season, they'll easily beat the teams in the playoffs. Let us remember that this team is always overvalued during the playoffs, but we tend to miss out on the big upsetter, which is the Miami Heat. Actually, Miami now is already heating up; they know it's time to activate that playoff mode as it's already nearing.
Yes, it's not a guarantee although I don't have the numbers, but usually this dominant team in the season have a higher chance of winning the championship. Unless you are Lebron James who stop 73-9 Warriors. But for now, we haven't seen teams that can get close to how the Boston Celtics are winning. J Tatum and Jaylen Brown are best duo was we say and they are consistent as compare to our duos that we have right now. Splash brothers are no more, Klay is inconsistent, while Lavine, there are news that he wanted to get out of Chicago so it's only DeRozan that is carrying the load for now.

But at least they already see a preview if they would do more better they can dominate the other team just what they did to Warriors. Its undeniable that they made impressive performance to make Warriors look so hopeless and limiting their core to single digits scoring. Nobody expect that to happen as fans expect that Warriors would perform more better since they are chasing wins to get a possible standings on their remaining games. But we don't know if we can see a same like Miami changes since Warriors this seasons looks like losing its power and its like there main core is not performing well and seems they are starting to feel their performance is totally declining.

What a bad day for the Golden State Warriors. That's already a one sided game that they have no appetite to end it.

That must have been the biggest loss for GWS in quite a while.
Actually I just googled and found in the 20/21 season they lost to the Raptors by 53 points.  Grin
So today's loss was the 3rd highest in franchise history, they also lost by 63 against the Lakers in 71/72.

That shows us how serious the Celtics are right now. If they get out of the east I see them becoming champions.

Another game that blew me away was Mavericks vs Philly (still without Embiid). Dallas started fast and furious with 11:0 and the actually lost the 1st quarter by 8 points, wtf, haha. Veeeery strange game !!

Jusuf Nurkić broke his own record on rebounds. 30 rebounds for Nurkic tonight but sadly they lost against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

OKC was playing great on defense. They did not let Kevin Durant have an open look, once he received the ball, the double team would come and he was forced to pass the ball in the process.
Bradley Beal did great trying to help out, and Royce O'Neale did some damage too, but when it comes to offense, SGA had been dominating the game, actually the whole NBA, that's why he is on the Kia MVP race. 36 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists for the top 2 contender of the MVP race behind Jokic.

KD was exhausted, Bradley Beal was on minute restriction, Nurkic should actually be on minute restriction too but he was forced to play more, and Booker was out due to an ankle sprain but according to reports, the X-ray is good. He may be back after a few days of rest.
I think the Suns should find a way to make KD take his shots. After watching the game tonight, I don't see any screen and roll type of play, or KD should start practicing looking for the open man when a double team arrives.

Once again the Celtics showed they are an excellent team!

It's hard to believe the game between the Celtics and Warriors, it was an absurd difference.
I took a quick look at the statistics and saw some interesting points, all players (both teams) managed to score 2 or more points, (correct me if I'm wrong) no one (both teams) achieved a double-double, and what caught my attention was the Warriors' 3 point shoot percentage, just 17.1% (7/41) that's was insane!

The Celtics are absolutely blowing GSW away. 82 points for Celtics in 1st half while the Warriors just managed 38. 82-38 half time score. Is there any chance for Warriors to make a comeback?  Would be an epic comeback, one for the ages, if it does happen. Highly unlikely though. Curry has only 4 points in the first half.

This is a tough lost for the Warriors, they have been in a comeback as of late and trying to position themselves in 6th-8th spot and trying to avoid the play-in. And as I check the score, Curry didn't even manage to score in double digits. I think this is the second time this season that he failed to do that.

And it's really hard to see which team can defeat the Celtics at this point. There seems to be no loophole in their game, Tatum and Brown, the best 1-2 player, and then Drew and KP playing like they need to proved something from their previous teams that trade them.

I was casually browsing the results of the games and was surprised at the 89-88 score played by Clippers and Wolves. You normally just see that score line in just the third quarter with the way games are played today hehe. They are also two of the top teams right now but it turns out that both teams really struggled with field goal percentage under 40%. Rudy Gobert and Norman Powell were the best player for their respective teams.

Yep, the low number of rebounds by the Lakers players is the main reason the Lakers lost. However, even though the Lakers couldn't handle the Nuggets, it was still a special game as LeBron reached and surpassed the 40k-point mark. I think he will be able to score even 42k points if next season is the last season of his career.

Even though they lost that one, it was really a good opportunity for them to adjust where they were short and they will gonna add some more adjustments to their rotations or probably sign more players in order to get ready in case they gonna face the Nuggets once again in the NBA playoffs which more likely to happen since the Lakers seems to go to the playoffs with this kind of games recently, let's see if they can make such consistent win in their next games. Anyway, Congrats! to LBJ for reaching new milestones, he will be holding that record for a long unless Wemby follows in his footsteps and maintains a high points percentage throughout his entire NBA career.

I think it's winnable game for the Lakers though, they have a good chance to take it from the Nuggets. They just failed to execute in the last 4 minutes of the game and rely on James as a decoy and then dish it out to his team mates just like what they did in their last games.

So the Nuggets spoil James 40k point mark, but he is not slowing down, yeah, probably he can go as high as 42k if he continues to play with this kind of offense still in him. There are stats from players who played 20 season in the NBA and guess what their average coming in their last season? it's 7 points, while Lebron is doing like 24-25 ppg, so that's truly a feat that no one can duplicate.

Rob Hale (one of the owners for the Celtics) is certainly having a good season so far! I used to work with him at his telecom corporation, if you havent' looked him up he has quite a crazy story, (just google Rob Hale). Anyhow, it surely wouild be something if the Warriors were to make a comeback from being down 44 points! I wonder what the betting odds on that woud win if you placed some kind of crazy parlay, probably a lot!!

LeBron breaking records is really fun because we are witnessing history in a once-in-a-lifetime moment, and we should cherish that. Not being a kj here, but the problem with LeBron breaking records is that the Lakers are winning those games. When he breaks Kareem's record against OKC, they lose. Then today, against Denver, they lost again. I am not saying that LeBron is the problem here; I think it is the Lakers' inconsistency. Maybe we can say that some of the Lakers players don't want to exert that much effort in these games because LeBron's record should be the priority, but it should not; they must eye for the bigger prize, which is the trophy.

Also, when was the last time the Lakers won against the Denver? The Lakers are 0-7 against the Denver since the sweep in the Western Conference Finals up to this season. They are getting outcoached once again in the 4th, which is also one of their problems in the WCF.

NBA is getting softer and less defensive as meta of every team unlike before which defense is priority and crucial to win the game. Right now, NBA is more shooting perimeter shots to win the games and leaving defense open and just recover to it through scoring. With this kind of playing style, I think someone in the new era can break records easily.

The only unique for LBJ is his great physique which is very impressive considering his age. Some basketball players with great talent will have multiple injury that affects tha5 game but Lebron is very good on protecting his body to maintain this kind of performance until now.

That's how the game has evolved now; we have to accept the reality and not go back to the past. People who were not born in that era would not be able to compare, so they'll love the present. Basketball, after all, is just a game; it doesn't need to be physical. Besides, fans come to see their favorite players, particularly the star players, so less physical games would lessen the risk of getting injured.

Also, nowadays, the treatment is more modern, so if a player gets injured, he will not miss a long period of time to return unless it's a serious injury like a season-ending one. Speaking of LeBron, he is just exceptional. He is a great example of a player who knows how to value his asset; he invests in his body, so now, despite his age, he can still be competitive and lead his team.

Yeah absolutely.  Playoff Bron is fun to watch.  We don't have that much longer watching him so enjoy it now.  The problem with older players though is how fast they bounce back from injuries, with age comes longer recovery times.  One key injury before or at playoff time will crush them.
Hopefully, no injuries will trouble the Lakers as they are trying to improve their ranking.

Nuggets vs. Lakers was fun to watch. The Lakers had a strong start, but just like their previous meetings, they again choked in the 4th quarter and this time lost by double digits. They cannot really beat the Nuggets, so if they ever face off in the playoffs, we already know what the scenario would be.

Truly, they are defeated in the rebounding area. Aaron Gordon and Jokic are both dominating that field and the big difference is the second-chance opportunities made by those two.
Jamal Murray. That's the Murray that we saw in the last season and the playoffs. "Too many tricks on his bag." the commentator said. He had so much talent that he could always sneak his way in even if Anthony Davis is there who is known as a good rim protector.
Then there's Michael Porter Jr. who didn't miss a shot this time. His percentage in shooting is going down and maybe he saw it and realized he must go back to being an assassin in shooting. 25 points, 10/10 field goals, 5/5 in three point shots. That was crazy.
Finally, their new rim protector, Peyton Watson. 3 important blocks were made and I think Coach Malone will start giving him more minutes if he can continue that high level of defense that he is showing.
This is the Nuggets that we have seen in the Finals, they are not lazy to defend, and they don't just rely on their strong offense. 6th winning streak for the reigning champion.

They improve a lot this season as they have a lot of weapon to contribute when called on the floor. KCP was even out on that game and yet their offense adn defense remains impressive. The ball movement is really great for this team, although they have a lot of talents particularly Jokic, he is good in moving the ball and that makes his teammates better. Even Murray, there are times he is open but he is not forcing shots, he'll only attempt to shot the ball when they have a good position to grab the offensive rebounds. Overall, their performance showed their character and no way the Lakers will beat them in the playoffs, I'm afraid we might see another sweep if they meet.
