Memphis Grizzlies Vs San Antonio Spurs

This game looks to be an under points for me at first glance. Both teams are defensive teams and their games usually end up in under points most of the time. This is the first game of the playoff.
I predict both teams will be more defensive than usual as neither teams will want to lose the first game. I am going for under 190.5 points here.

Im thinking of taking a risk on stronger team like GSW or Cavs using martingale. Do you think it would be a good idea? Im not really a fan of sportsbetting but I wanted to try it. If I'm gonna do it. I will bet on these 3 team GSW, CAVS, SAS.

Who win Nba?

Golden State @1.65
Cleveland     @4.50
San Antonio  @8.50
Boston         @15.00
Houston       @20.00
Toronto        @25.00
L.A. Clippers @35.00
Washington  @40.00

Golden State is the great favorite, but the quote of San Antonio [email protected] is really high

What an odds offered for San Antonio Spurs and I think I want to give it a shot eventhough Im not a Spurs fan. Im expecting it around the same range of Cleveland Cavaliers.

Even Cavaliers played bad before the season ends, I think sportsbook considered how Cavs became a champion last season that's why the odds for them is around @4.

I think the rate given was the same again. This season, but I think San Antonio can win the final ticket again, especially Leonard is one of the important names of this season.

It is not something that can not be good if they can get to the finals. One is seen as a favorite in Cavs this season, especially the two players are very important. What will contribute to Lebron and Irving will become clearer for him.

Golden state has a very good ending this season and now that Durant is back I think it will be easy for them to do it, they have beaten the Spurs already even without Durant so I guess they can do it again if ever they will face in the playoffs. I am really excited because tomorrow the playoffs will already start and that gives me more entertainment watching my team play.

Durant first game on Jazz after his injury was an epic fail. But still, he got skills to lead GSW to conquer the West conference. I think GSW is already without Durant and I'm afraid that he might break the synchronization momentum of GSW.. Not only Spurs will be a threat to GSW but the Rockets too. This team was a silent killer since they have potential skills that can kill giant teams like GSW and Cavs. The second round of the Play-offs will more interesting than first round, Only Thunders and RRockets will be a good match on whole conference.

With everybody saying look how Cavs performed last season in the finals against the Warriors down 3-1 and going on to win the whole dam thing. So what?! Tongue
Last season GSW was over doing it will chasing the record for most wins in a season, so they shot themselves in the foot for that with being to tired at the end of it all.
And those who say Cavs are better than GSW in the finals need to remember that team was new to the big show so they were like Cinderella at the ball. This time around when they make it there they will have post season experience behind them and won't make the same mistakes twice with whomever they face at the final dance.

Then so what too with your statement? Im not a Cavs fan but I will buy your story.

Tired themselves as they entered the playoffs? Are you crazy? All teams played 82 games before entering the playoffs so the tired thing is out of the line. Do you get it? Is that the reason behind why GSW loss in the finals? You are retarded if you think like that.

Too tired of Cinderella team issue with the Cavaliers. You haven't moved on with the GSW loss last finals? It's almost a year now. Pray that they will become a champion this time so that you will lived happily ever after.
Yes tired just like Durant is and got his ass injured in "over doing it" before the post season even started.
Why in the hell do you think for weeks on end the teams were resting their star players for? They don't want to over extent them more then they need to.
And no. I haven't moved on for the Warriors not clinching the finals and putting to rest that sorry ass cavs team. I do not like Lebron as a player or as a person. He is an arrogant POS and should have his ass handed to him on a silver platter by the splash brother this time around.
You will see. Mark my words, you will see. Wink

Please, the Warriors did chase the record but the starters played around 30 mins in most of the games since they were all blowouts for the most part. They were perfectly fine, they were just not good enough, their shooters dried up and let's remember that they themselves were 1-3 against the Thunder.

As for the Cavs, I'm a long time fan and supporter so I'm biased but give them credit, they are bored, let's see what happens in the playoffs. Kevin Love alone is playing much better basketball than last year, I won't even mention the new additions Korver and D-Will.

And to the guy saying Cavs are a joke like the Raptors: respect the current champ.

That guy need some refreshment.

If Warriors are tired like what he says, then Thunders should sent them to trash during the West Finals but it didn't and Warriors still able to come back from 1-3 deficit and take the West champs. Where is the tired thing there?

There are really lots of people like that that still finding some reasons why Warriors loss in the last year finals. If already they did accept it then they should living in peace now as NBA is yearly and Warriors can come back again to take the championships. I really loved exchanging words for those people like that so let's get it on and let's heat this discussion thread.

Exactly, many couldn't believe they weren't invincible but let's not forget that the previous year they had a really bad time against a Cavs team that had to play without Irving and Kevin Love and started James Jones and had only 2 available players on the bench. Delly was a nightmare for Curry all series and only when Kerr introduced David Lee and gave more minutes to Iguolada the series started to change.

This year is a whole different story, I don't have a lot of faith in Lue as he hasn't being able to develop the team or work on creating good rotations. However a team like this with Lebron (who always enters beast mode in the playoffs) should be feared.

I do like San Antonio to win it and go all the way this year. Cleveland is a joke and so are the Raptors.
Memphis are tough and Houston has off nights so they are not going to last too long.
The few games I have seen the Spurs playing they have never disappointed.
So I will go with them this year to be the champions of the 2016-2017 season.

Im not being a fan of Cleveland Cavaliers but how can you say they are a joke?

Because of their poor performance before this season ends? Because they have worst record when Lebron James is not playing? Because Lue sucks at plays?

Remember last year's finals? Cavaliers playing performance really sucks since Game 1 and being downed to 3-1 by the Warriors. But look how they upset the most strongest team that season and ended up a champion. Winning against the healthy GSW for 3 in a row is not a joke. And even Durant is added in the lineup of GSW, don't expect that is an easy game.

Since you are pointing to San Antonio Spurs, I think you should point out first on teams that Spurs must beat at the West playoffs before entering the NBA finals.

I'm sure with the playoffs coming in, Cavs will step up their game. The month of March was truly a disappointing for them. I'm expecting Cavs to begin acting like they are the defending champion and start to win basketball games again in succession. I'm seeing Deron Williams as the X-factor that would help them closer to another ring this 2017. Other worth mentioning is Kyle Korver, coming off the bench and providing needed offense specially in the 3 point line will definitely help the Big Three.

Deron Williams is only a factor when those 3 superstar are having an absence on a game. When currently the Big 3 is present, his performance factor is on average of 5 ratings out of 10. Why? Because of the playing time and play decision. Since D Will is the new arrival, he can't make his own set of play like he always doing in his previous teams.

The best thing to covered that is to play Dwill with the bench squad most of the time.

I agree, Williams has been playing pretty good without the big 3, but with them on the floor he's a non-factor or just doesn't seem to mesh well with Lebron or/and Irving. I think they are not used to having a ballhandler and don't give him the ball enough or just don't use him well enough. He's definitely a very special player that can even be the fourth best player in this team.

If we look at the stats where DWill is the X-Factor on a team, we can noticed that all plays came from this guy and he has an interesting playing time. So as a point guard alongside with Kyrie Irving, the Deron Williams we know will now turned to a shooting guard and just wait for further decision by the main point guard.

He can just do some own point play analysis once Irving or any point guard are on the bench. That is good in terms of bench backup as surely we can see some bench productions from the Cavaliers which they really needed and lacking of.

Obviously I do not understand why he is a heavy favorite and the rate is so low. To me, Houston is one of my favorite ones, and if Harden shows his full potential, then we will probably see what happens. In San Antonio, we can say good defense.

Do you think it makes sense to bet on these playoffs?

Wow those are some very good odds for San Antonio really...they've showed they have what it takes to beat the Warriors and while I don't deny they are the favorites to take it all the Spurs should be around 5-6 odds in my opinion but what do I know, I'm not a bookmaker.

Boston odds are risky and a long shot but still nice though in case some crazy upsets happen (wouldn't be the first time). The Warriors have a very hard road ahead even if they have 3 of the best players in the league. To me an NBA Final consisting of San Antonio vs. Boston is not some crazy delusion, an injury or two and a single upset can make it happen.

Yeah. San Antonio odds are weird. I don't know why the bookmaker put it at that. The odds should be around Cleveland odds. Well we should bet for San Antonio then because the odds are in our favor. They are a great team and they are capable of beating Golden State for the Finals slot for the West.

San Antonio Spurs-Memphis Grizzlies

This is Potentially interesting round. This teams played 4 games in this season and both win twice,on their own court. Off course, play off is totally different thing than regular season and Spurs showed us numerous of times how serious team they are, great job coach Pop and his assistants are doing, but nobody can win that easy on Grizzlies court, so we might have ourselves a six or even seven game show to watch.

This is really interesting. Both teams are healthy going into the playoffs putting this series a highly contested one. But I will pick San Antonio to win the series. Marcus Aldridge will be the deciding factor. I think Memphis will be having a hard time matching with him. Leonard will be his usual self in this series and if Marcus elevate his game more the series will really tip in favor of San Antonio. Spurs in 6 games.

If this was the same Memphis 2-3 seasons back they would've had the chance to take the series, now I don't think so. Their twin tower's not as dominant as they've been. Spurs probably in 6.
