As for the Clippers, they had a bad season but I think if they get it together in the playoffs they can even reach the West finals, they have a lot of experience and a great coach/core of players. If they fail, I think it will be the end of an era with the big three leaving (CP3, Jordan & Griffin).

As a whole, Im not seeing Los Angeles Clippers had a bad season. They clinched the 4th spot in the Western Conference and that is difficult to achieved if we compare the team to Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets. Also some of their games are being missed by their key starters but still able to managed at the top spot.

And surely they will finished this season with 7 game winning streak if they able to pin down Kings in their next game which have a decent chance.

To the thread starter, May I request to change the poll into " Who will be the #KIAMVP this season.

It is Russell Westbrook or James Harden. Only this two. And what is the reason you voted that MVP candidate?

The top three of Western conference, Golden State Warriors, Spurs, Rockets and Cavaliers from the east, they all lost their game same time today. Don't worry it's not a bad thing, in fact, this is a good sign because that mean they are starting to ready for the playoffs. About time for Cavaliers to face the biggest challenge, defense the title, which I don't think they will success. And other fun thing, whether Los Angeles Clippers can finally break the curse or continue extending it. Damn, this playoffs gonna be so fxxxxcking interesting.

You should respect the current champion, they are down but not out! Any team with Lebron has a chance and they've proven just last Friday that Boston is not a match for them. I do agree that if they get to the NBA finals (which would be logical) they will face even bigger odds than last year if they play against the Warriors or the Spurs. They both are much better teams and the Cavs haven't really improve that much compared to them.

Oklahoma City Thunder Vs Minnesota Timberwolves

I don't like to bet on the Thunder in their away games but the Timberwolves have lost all 4 of their recent away games. The Timberwolves have poor form and it would be difficult for them to stop Westbrook and company. Although Towns and Wiggins is performing great this season, the Timberwolves weak defense have resulted in their team losing many of their games. I am confident that Westbrook and company will be able to exploit the Timberwolves defense. My bet is Thunder +4.5.

It was just one of those days I guess.
I put Clippers to beat the Rockets and Trail Blazers to win against the Spurs but never thought of so many of the bigger teams to lose. Golden state for one with Stephen Curry having a record breaking 15 points in the first quarter in his career. And having Cavs losing in overtime but then again if they decide to rest their top players what was expected in that matchup.

Cavs-Heat go to OT in Miami. If Heat wins, Celtics are number one seed
What a nice game, I thought the Cavaliers will win the game, it was a close game that goes outside the regulation. The real highlight for tonight's game was Deron Williams, he played 46 minutes and for a while I feel like he is back to his prime, lol,, the guy scored got double-double with 35 points and 10 TO ( Grin).. I hope this would be a good start for him to build his confidence back, playoff is coming, cavs will surely need him to step up also.

He just score that points because the main scorer of the cavs are out on the game, I think Cavs are interested anymore to the no.1 seed spot because they are avoiding miami heat once Heat jump in on the play-offs spot. As you will notice, All teams that on rank 7-9 on eatesrn conference are all won today, I don't know if that was a coincident or not. But i love watching those teams because they too much effort just to ensure their spot. I wish that miami heat will get the last spot on the east.

Miami against a LeBronless Cleveland Cavaliers and the other teams against the bottom teams from each conference. The surprise was that a overtime was necessary for Miami get the win
It's good to see the Heat are winning again, I think they are in close fight against the Bulls now because they also won the game against the Magic.
This should be a fun ending to come for the regular season, if they will get the 8 seed and the Boston in no. 1, there is a chance that they can upset the Boston Celtics, with a good coaching staff this is possible.

The race now are among the following teams : (W-L)
                                                               Indiana Pacers 41-40
                                                                                               Chicago Bulls 40-41
                                                                                               Miami Heat 40-41

Cavs-Heat go to OT in Miami. If Heat wins, Celtics are number one seed

This game is crucial and Heat wins this game and only 3 points lead which is not that high. Well just check out the standing right now and Celtics are on the number 1 spot for the standings already. If the last shot of Cavs wasn't block for sure they won this game or if ever the last stolen ball for Miami was shooted then it won't be long up to OT.

Cleveland Cavaliers will sit LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love to their upcoming game against the Miami Heat.

Don't know what's going on but Im sure they aren't forcing their superstars to make some effort to win to their last 2 remaining games as preparation in the first round of playoffs. There recent terrible losses to Atlanta Hawks at two straight games is really frustrating since those Big 3 played so much time and yet they didn't able to get a win.

The starting 5 will be; J.R. Smith, Richard Jefferson, Channing Frye, Iman Shumpert, and Deron Williams.*

*subject to changed

Cleveland lost against Atlanta yesterday, and back to back against Miami before, one without the stars, other with complete team, among other crap results. Also Miami cannot afford a loss if the objective is the playoffs.

I think Miami probably will win, or fight until the very end
kevin love is playing, its just lebron and irving who sitting down they are still in the lead as of writing here, and its seems that they are playing strong too early to assess because we always seen them acting like this giving up on the last minutes or sitting those stars when last periods starts let see if things will be different.

Yes Kyrie Irving, Lebron James and Kevin Love all played 40+ minutes in their recent game with the Atlanta hawks. There was no being mention of those players being injured after the game so it's surprising that those CAVS superstar will be rested. As per reports say, Irving have knee problem, James' calf and Love's illness but still questionable if he can able to play the game. Aside from them, Tristan Thompson will be out too due to thumb problem.

Cavaliers' Moneyline odds rose to around @6 now because of the absence of CAVS stars aside from the fact the Miami Heat will play at their home and force to win the game to make secure their playoffs spot which right now sharing a sit with the Chicago Bulls at eight seed.

Yes and that's it. Russell Westbrook breaks Robertson's record and set his own at 42nd triple double made in a season. What a difficult achievement that was all started last year against the New York Knicks. It's hard to maintained the numbers and this guy just don't give up. Kudos to him.

And to add for that historical achievement, they win against the Denver Nuggets with a fantastic show. A beautiful buzzer beater from the 40 ft rainbow area, who thought it will bucket since that is a defended quick catch and shoot. A monster performance @ 50 pts , 16 boards and 10 assists which on first half already have 23 pts, 12 boards and 6 assists.

MVP isn't it?
Yes he does deserve everything he worked hard for in his long career!
Beast mode initiated in this game to take it to the next level.
He took the record in fine form and instyle with an astounding 50 points just to show his critics he is not messing around and he is serious contender just as Lebron and Harden for their respective teams are and the sole winner for the MVP title this year! He has this one in the bag. Cool
No doubt about that now! Grin

There must be rewards for his hardwork. It's a big task to maintained good average points every game and it's not a joke even you will ball hog the whole playing system. Thanks also to his teammates to their cooperation and no doubt giving full support to Russell Westbrook. And to increase more his chances in grabbing the MVP title, he must go full force again at their last 2 games remaining this season which is against the Minnesota Timberwolves and a hosting with the Denver Nuggets.

If lucky he can make another record of 43rd and 44th triple double record made in a season and I think he will attempt to do that as no need for them to focus on win as they already clinched their playoffs spot no matter what. History on process again on Russ.

50 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists,  there is a new record for westbrook! 42 triple-doubles in 1 season. It is an amazing record.
Congratulations to Westbrook!

Russell Westbrook should be the MVP now. Breaking Oscar Robertson is not a easy task to do this season long. The record has been standing there for so long and who would imagine after Durant leave OKC that finally it will be broken by Russell Westbrook. Yes, is an amazing feat he will probably broke his own record next season.  Smiley.

We already had this discussion and I remember saying Lebron James is always the MVP, every season even if he doesn't win. I still maintain this in spite of the recent Cavs performance however Westbrook should get the award this year. He gets a lot of hate because of his inflated numbers and frantic style of play but we can't deny that he led OKC to the playoffs with a very mediocre team (they lost Ibaka on top of Durant, no one ever mentions that).

Leonard is ok as second choice I guess but the Spurs are more of a team rather than focused on a single star. I still think Lebron is the player you need to build a franchise around and he proved plenty of times that when he leaves either Cleveland or Miami that team is lottery bound in an instant.
