Yes and that's it. Russell Westbrook breaks Robertson's record and set his own at 42nd triple double made in a season. What a difficult achievement that was all started last year against the New York Knicks. It's hard to maintained the numbers and this guy just don't give up. Kudos to him.

And to add for that historical achievement, they win against the Denver Nuggets with a fantastic show. A beautiful buzzer beater from the 40 ft rainbow area, who thought it will bucket since that is a defended quick catch and shoot. A monster performance @ 50 pts , 16 boards and 10 assists which on first half already have 23 pts, 12 boards and 6 assists.

MVP isn't it?

50 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists,  there is a new record for westbrook! 42 triple-doubles in 1 season. It is an amazing record.
Congratulations to Westbrook!

Will try to watch Russell Westbrook making history. I got a feeling that he will break in against Denver. Too bad Denver will also be in the history book as the team the Westbrook defeated to past Oscar Robertson's record.  Grin. If Westbrook break Robertson's record this season, no doubt he will win the MVP.

I will put some money on Denver game to go over on points tonight with Westbrook wanting to score and make as many assists and rebounds as he can to break that over 40 year record for triple doubles.
Now that would be a sight to behold for any fan of the NBA! Grin

Well the first round of thr playoffs would most likely be a give away for the top teams in each conference. I don't see any 7th and 8th team upsetting either gsw and sas or cleveland and boston. The exciting matches would be the middle teams

Maybe in Eastern Conference but not in the Western Conference as Portland Trail Blazers and Memphis Grizzlies are not an average team especially if they will placed on the Eastern Conference.

Memphis Grizzlies have an inner play that can wrecked the top teams and they proven that in the past playoffs and even every season. Likely they will faced again the top 2 seed in the West which is the San Antonio Spurs for the fourth time. For the record and some trivia here, Memphis Grizzlies was top 8 seed last 2010-2011 NBA season but managed to win against the top seed San Antonio Spurs via 4-2 and advanced to second round but lost to Oklahoma City Thunders to 3-4 which is very close. That playoffs will be remarkable to them if they advanced to finals eventough they are in the lowest seed.

We can't really say what will happen to those team in the lower seed as sometimes they are exploding especially in Playoffs where records will start at 0-0 W/L.

Portland is almost mathematically to the playoffs: If denver, loses 1 game or if Portland wins 1 game,Portland is mathematically qualified for the playoffs.

Harakiri Chicago against Brooklyn (worst record in the NBA).
Chicago squandered a lead of 9 points in the last quarter! Now Chicago and Miami are tied for eighth place.
Chicago Bulls choked hard yesterday. I thought it was a good game to bet on but the Lopez on the Brooklyn team is the older brother of little Lopez on the Bulls so he taught the younger sibling a lesson I would like to think.

That is really fun to know who will advance, my prediction it would be the Miami Heat because they are more consistent and played like a team.
I guess it was wade's first game last night against the Brooklyn and they lose, wade is not as good as before, that injury though affected him a lot.

I don't think westbrook is even playing tonight so there is no good games on tv to watch while waiting for him to complete his season whether he can get the record held by Oscar or not. Undecided
They will play tomorrow against denver and that is a good time for you to bet with them, right now the line is +4.5 for the Thunder and we know Westrbrook wold do everything to get that record break. This game should be a high scoring game as both team are good in offensive and since the Denver are still in the playoff race, we can surely see a good suspense game on this one.
i will go with okc and just like you have said westbrook will try this one to be break and create his own records for me it will be a pride for him trying to snatch a win and get his own record inside nba let see if risking in a money line will also give good chances to win.

So how many more games does westbrook have to go to get the ultimate title?
I watched the Oklahoma Thunder game waiting for him to get that one last rebound to break it.
After that I lost interest to watch the next game and it is a work day if they did play on Thursday.
When is it tonight? If so then i will be watching it since it's a Friday night and can stay up this time to watch it until the end.

All remaining games is important for him since it's a big additional to his stats if in every game there will be a boost to his play. If he will missed even by one, it can be the reason for him being behind by his rival, James Harden.

There are only 4 games remaining to them. You can view their upcoming schedule by just typing "Oklahoma City Thunders" or a simple "okc schedule" at the Google search bar or for more detailed one you can check their subpages at the NBA site.

http://www.nba.com/thunder/schedule/

So Russell Westbrook will need just 1 triple double to break the record of Oscar Robertson. So basically 1 out of 4 games. I think he can break the record in his next game against Phoenix. When will be the voting for the regular season MVP starts btw? In the beginning of the season, I though that Durant or James or Leonard will battle it out for the MVP, but its down to Harden and Westbrook I guess.
Yes now I do see them playing the Suns tonight.
But now they are questioning whether he will even dress for the second quarter. So the streak continues. Grin
Westbrook got 7 turnovers already and he is the only one who got that with 5:39 minutes to play in the 3rd quarter. I guess he can have not just triple double tonight but a possible quadruple double with turnovers. Anyway, I'm excited to witness Westbrook making history.
He was one shy of doing it.
I think he is doing it on purpose actually so he can get it accomplished in front of the home team fans in the next game in Oklahoma.
That would be a nice gesture by him if he does infact do it in this fashion. Cool

Well, it doesn't matter much. He's having a huge season that's true, but the real battle is in the playoffs.

I do think they will rest Westbrook for one of those 4 games left so to have him fully rested for the playoffs starting next week.
What use would he be if he is tired and gets injured chasing a record.
He already tied it and it seems that he is satisfied with just that.
He doesn't want to be doing it just because everybody else wants him too, he would do it for himself and not for what the fanatics want him to be doing.
That is just how smart athletes think.
They reserve themselves for the next game and know that chasing things just lead to disaster for themselves and the entire team down the road into the playoffs.
I would say he would want a ring more than just a record of t/d for the season's end because he is no spring chicken so to say.

In the beginning of the season, I though that Durant or James or Leonard will battle it out for the MVP, but its down to Harden and Westbrook I guess.

Durant, James and Leonard are on the dominant teams that all of their rosters are contributing well for them not to go all out in every game. Compare to Harden's Rockets and Westbrook's Thunders, these teams have main man and needs to go all out every game they played that's why both of these players are having a good stats to be considered as 2016-17 Season MVP.

Just don't know when voting will start but the announcement will be on June 26, a first time event that will announce all the winners in one place; Most Valuable Player, Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Sixth Man, Most Improved Player and Coach of the Year will be announced.

Hey mate thanks for the info I guess we have to wait a little longer to see who's gonna win this season MVP. Interesting to note though. Durant, Westbrook and Harden used to play together as rookies but look at where are they now. Imagine if they are still playing in one team now, they would be huge.
Don't think so much guys, it's very obvious that Westbrook will become an MVP, haven't check if there are still available betting for this
one but if there's I'm pretty sure Westbrook would be the favorites. James Harden? he is good but not really, his inconsistency is something
that I hate most and it shows when he competes with a good team like the Warriors, Cavaliers, and the Spurs.

Brooklyn Nets 00:00 Chicago Bulls

For this game, I'm going to bet with Bulls its a sure game for them. We saw how Brooklyn Nets with their games and it is not impressive. But still that will depend on the odds. But I'm going to go with Bulls for this game.

The odds is fine to them currently at around 1.5-1.6. Bet now mate or include that in a parlay since the odds offered can make your parlay winnings increase it's winning value.

And wanna know why Bulls will take this game? They still not clinched their playoffs spot and still on the verge of elimination. So surely they will force the game for a weaker Nets which is I doubt will play seriously. Handicap is also good for a range not higher than 5 as a safe floor.
