Any Timberwolves fan out there? I think the Wolves will have an awesome season ahead. A young talented core that can easily defeat any team with Coach Thibs on the sidelines. I hope that no injuries will happen to the starting players. Also with the addition of Rush, Hill, and Aldrich we will have a deep bench and a 3 pt shooter.

I wouldn't say I am Timbs fan but I do watch them as much as I can mostly because Rubio (maybe I am being subjective a bit haha)

They do have a very talented team and finally they have a good coach.

They are good but not enough to get a ring, not even getting in western conference finals. As you can see theres a lot of superstar move into another team so still it would be hard for them.
If this team will continue to develop their skills maybe 5 to 10 years they could get a championship ring already. We have already observed them in the past and they are really good in competing legitimate playoffs team.

They are young and talented. They have a bright future ahead. But for now they are not a contender. With the stack up western conference I dont see that they make to the playoffs. They are the Los Angeles Lakers.

Timberwolves is a great team and they just need  a very good coach, they are lucky this season as they have thibs on their team and this team will likely to make the playoffs this year if they will improve their play especially on the defense which is the masterpiece of thibs.

K.D. didn't even consulted Westbrook or inform him. I mean these guys played together for 8 years. You don't just destroy that kind of chemistry. K.D's really hungry for a ring, and he plans to get it by any means necessary.

yeah kevin durant will get his ring this year. Gsw is really stronger than oklahoma and gsw is a team has so many good attacking and defensing mechanics. I can not wait the next season. that will be fantastic gsw with k.d.
Barring any major injury to any of the main guys (Steph, K.D, and Klay, and Draymond), the Warriors are heavily favored to win this coming season's championship. Steve Kerr has a lot of nice problems to have. His options on scoring has just widened a lot more and it is up to the players who will take turns in punishing the defense of their opponents. I wonder how the defending champs are going to take these Warriors as it is almost inevitable that they'd meet for the third straight time in the Finals.

Well injuries will be nothing for this line up cause their rooster now are very superiot in terms of offense and defense and im very sure to this if any one of them would get injured well their are another superstars would step up and bring their team to win those champ, and the one thing i could see steve kerr would really need to maximize is their defensive meister and if they could perfect those two well they could bring back home the champ again and bounce back.
You may be right. The best teams are those who find ways to win even with injured players. And as they say, offense wins ballgames, defense wins championships. But I think in the case of these Warriors, they are going to win by solid defense and wicked offense. Talk about nightmare for opposing teams for years to come.

Yeah im sure of it too. Kd will give some extra offence and defense on the part of gsw.
A high scoring team plus a scoring machine which can give gsw a 130 points per game. Lol

Yes but a single injury will be a major blow because GSW just doesn't have the same depth as previous years. If any of those guys goes down (and it's a very long season, especially for KD and Curry who are the most fragile) I think they will have trouble to get to the West finals.

48 points from Russell Westbrook and 43 points from Kevin Durant. Total 91 points, that's very impressive!
This is only duo to score 40+ each since Jordan & Pippen in 1996!

I'm very sorry my friend that duo is dead for now. Why? because Kevin Durant is gonna play with the Golden State warriors and only WestBrook will be earning points for the OKC  Angry Angry

Well you can't blame on Kevin's decision for going to Golden State. He may be desperate, but I love to see him win the ring in the upcoming season along with the Splash Brothers. Smiley

Yeah... it was the Splash Brothers who defeated OKC its was 3 to 1 then come back with 3 - 4 GSW is really amazing durant want's to win really bad but he will give GSW a fighting chance into the finals i hope :3
That is so obvious because they are the heavy favorites now in the NBA Futures. The public believe that the warriors will win in the Finals easy and I just hope that would not happen because I will not go with the public as the public lose most of the time.

I will interrupt your discussion about GSW and Durant lol.

No such big trades are happening now. But I think after basketball game in Rio Olympics, there will be lots of active trades that will happen.

Still waiting for that counter offer of NYK to Dwade.
Don't expect dude, wave will not partner with rose and melo, he is good in chicago bulls and I am happy if he will just prefer to stay in that team. So much movement for the stars this season and not really good for the NBA at all.

Durant is a living example, if they lose this season then it could be a wrong decision for both the warriors and durant.

Chicago is D.Wade's hometown and he played for Marquette. He is not going anywhere.
I think it was just matter of time when he would join the Bulls.
He does not like miami heat because the team is not doing great in the playoffs, he wants to experiment a bit by transferring to other team and I believe he will do more in other team which is the case in NBA and that is expected with new stars transferred to their new team.

The Bulls might make the playoffs but that's about it.
Chicago being his hometown was a dealbreaker. I can't see him play more than 2-3 seasons before retiring.
They can easily do that because there are no great competition in the east which was ruled by the cavaliers. If they can make it in the playoffs, they would probably face the cavaliers in the finals and we know the outcome already, it would still be a convincing win by the cavaliers.

all teams are looking to challenge gsw as all the eye is on them after acquiring kd we all knew what addition can kd gives the gsw on the offensive end but teams already working on it and making some plays and see what will be their chances to win against the big team.
i guess they would never focus just on golden state warriors because there are also lots of team to be considered like san antonio which for me is a great treat also to other teams and also the  champion of the last season the cavs.
I believe so that the spurs will be the champion for this season, they have a good squad and coming from a very disappointing lose in the last season, they will surely come start strong with Pau Gasol on board. Respect the spurs they are made of a great coach, and they can compete.
+1 buddy i believe spurs always there to compete i guess the maturity and the team work already been build with aldridge parker and lennard it just need to take sometime for pau to adjust knowing him as a champion player as well.
