I will interrupt your discussion about GSW and Durant lol.

No such big trades are happening now. But I think after basketball game in Rio Olympics, there will be lots of active trades that will happen.

Still waiting for that counter offer of NYK to Dwade.
Don't expect dude, wave will not partner with rose and melo, he is good in chicago bulls and I am happy if he will just prefer to stay in that team. So much movement for the stars this season and not really good for the NBA at all.

Durant is a living example, if they lose this season then it could be a wrong decision for both the warriors and durant.

Chicago is D.Wade's hometown and he played for Marquette. He is not going anywhere.
I think it was just matter of time when he would join the Bulls.
He does not like miami heat because the team is not doing great in the playoffs, he wants to experiment a bit by transferring to other team and I believe he will do more in other team which is the case in NBA and that is expected with new stars transferred to their new team.

48 points from Russell Westbrook and 43 points from Kevin Durant. Total 91 points, that's very impressive!
This is only duo to score 40+ each since Jordan & Pippen in 1996!

I'm very sorry my friend that duo is dead for now. Why? because Kevin Durant is gonna play with the Golden State warriors and only WestBrook will be earning points for the OKC  Angry Angry

Well you can't blame on Kevin's decision for going to Golden State. He may be desperate, but I love to see him win the ring in the upcoming season along with the Splash Brothers. Smiley
This is early to celebrate, remember the 3 - 1 come back by the cavaliers. even durant is already in Golden States and Rey Allen there are teams that can beat them just celebrate if they announce as champion.
yes after all the movement and trade we can't celebrate yet many teams will come up and we will see another gsw in the making we all been surprise by gsw from the first champ that they showed we all see spurs or clippers to be the champ of the west but coming out from nowhere gsw showed created a superstar from the outside beating the king.
The past is the past. I think what helped the Warriors win their first championship in 40 years was due to the Cavs' not having Kyrie and Kevin Love the whole series. Lebron was the only guy who made it possible for that Finals to even reach Game 6. He was even considered for Finals MVP award.

Well, I guess that case should now be closed and focus on the good-on-paper Warriors. There were teams like these before where we thought they would click. Pau joining Bulls, Dwight joining Kobe, Aldridge joining Spurs and many others. Anyway only 1 team wins so there's still a big chance that having a greatest lineup will end up as a bust.

Durant wasn't the only player injured during that season
With Billy Donovan, they were 1 win away from going to the finals so he's doing something right with the new system.
If, by new system you mean letting Durant and Westbrook take turns chucking every trip down court. Then yeah he's doing something right

wow westbrook is a star buddy just can't prove his capability due of getting poor support if only durant showed big games the last 2 game against gsw they should be the team who faces the cavs, it's all about teamwork and without the team effort no matter how good you are, you can't win the game alone, MJ didn't get the title w/out the rest of the bulls.
Golden State might be a very fearsome team on paper but we have yet to see how strong are they going to be once they really get to play each other. Would be nice to see how other teams adjust to that talent-laden Warriors team. With Westbrook being left to fend for himself, he might find himself support, in some other team that is. Rumor has it that it is only a matter of time before he finds himself a new home in the NBA.

Will Golden State's super team roll to another 70-plus wins? How will the Spurs fare after Tim Duncan's departure? Summer Forecast rolls on as our expert panel makes its projections for the West.

source: espn.com

Don't really think Golden State can have another 70-plus wins...

no strong C in their team, not looking good unless they are hot hand all the time...

GSW can win any game with only 1 player having a hot hand that night - clay, curry, kd, green...

and even if all of them are having a really bad night (very slim chances) they can still win cause they have a deep bench, great coach, and solid D.

That is what you see but others can see it differently, they have all the shooting but not all their opponent will let them dictate the tempo of the game, smart team will play base on size which is apparently the warriors does not have and won't use that technique even if they have.

you do understand that warriors played more than 60% of their games (time wise) small with green as a center?
"Smart team" ? you think teams didnt want to beat them last year? you think they didn't try to adjust?

They can my friend, they have Kevin Durant now and Golden states is the strongest team that for this NBA 2016-2017 Golden states has the skills to win it all and CAVS will be scared of what is coming to them  Grin Grin Grin

Who are your guys early favorites to win the NBA Championship this year?

I would have to go with Golden State at 5/1 to repeat and win it all again.

Yes! true that! Golden state has a new member and he has skills by the way maybe they will conquer the NBA Championship and beat the former champion the Cavs! but i strongly believe that Golden state and CAVS! will be meeting in the finals  Grin Grin same old same old

People Predicting Westbrook for MVP Might be Mentally Retarded
1. OKC won't have the regular season record to give RW serious consideration.
2. When has Westbrook proven his stats will equal success? Did they not miss the playoffs when FT35 was out?
3. Westbrook is the biggest fraud in the NBA. By far the least clutch superstar in the league. IQ of a bag of hammers. And a absolutely terrible defender. One more knee injury and this guy will be coming off the bench for the Bejing Ducks in the very near future.

I call it 65 at most, 60-62 for regular season. If they finish 1st in West it's great achievement for them. San Antonio is a better side, even OKC has better chance if they get something useful. Westbrook has more options and responsibility now.

OKC has a better chance than GWS to finish 1st in the West?? Are you high or something?

Well IMO a strong center isn't actually needed for season games. Today's PFs can deliver the same. The difference is felt when you grind with the same opponent during the playoffs.

centers dont matter at all it seems in todays game, its all about small ball.  Even if you have a center protecting the rim and getting easy 2 pointers here
and there how will he keep up and guard a smaller center or power forward that can shoot 3s. Now your exchanging 3 points for 2 even when the big centerscores

It will be tough against New Orleans Pelicans (Anthony Davis) and Sacramento Kings (Boggie Cousins). Centers beat Warriors' paint last year when Bogut has foul problems and limited play time and they will do it again this year. Centers are still too important to win games. If you don't score in paint you have to rely on your 3 pointers. We all know what happen when Warriors choked on 3's last year. They lost games with huge differences even though they made 73-9.
