Will Golden State's super team roll to another 70-plus wins? How will the Spurs fare after Tim Duncan's departure? Summer Forecast rolls on as our expert panel makes its projections for the West.

Don't really think Golden State can have another 70-plus wins...

no strong C in their team, not looking good unless they are hot hand all the time...

I call it 65 at most, 60-62 for regular season. If they finish 1st in West it's great achievement for them. San Antonio is a better side, even OKC has better chance if they get something useful. Westbrook has more options and responsibility now.

Just little more then 60 win don't think they can do better then this

What a highlight dunk from Demar DeRozan in their early game against the China team. Although it got missed, still a good highlights.

Good thing from that China player, he didn't make a funny posterized image. Smiley

all teams are looking to challenge gsw as all the eye is on them after acquiring kd we all knew what addition can kd gives the gsw on the offensive end but teams already working on it and making some plays and see what will be their chances to win against the big team.

GSW can win any game with only 1 player having a hot hand that night - clay, curry, kd, green...

and even if all of them are having a really bad night (very slim chances) they can still win cause they have a deep bench, great coach, and solid D.

That is what you see but others can see it differently, they have all the shooting but not all their opponent will let them dictate the tempo of the game, smart team will play base on size which is apparently the warriors does not have and won't use that technique even if they have.

you do understand that warriors played more than 60% of their games (time wise) small with green as a center?
"Smart team" ? you think teams didnt want to beat them last year? you think they didn't try to adjust?

You have a good point mate, maybe the warriors backer are just having a hang over on the previous record and usually when you love a team you tend to be bias most of the time and would not consider other good team that would be a threat also.

Well IMO a strong center isn't actually needed for season games. Today's PFs can deliver the same. The difference is felt when you grind with the same opponent during the playoffs.

That is not going to happen, there is still a team that could not let them do them. The current line up of the spurs now are very dangerous as duncan was replace by a more versatile and young player in the person of Pau Gasol.

I love them being underrated this season as sometimes when the public speculate a certain team to win the other way around happen. I wonder how the public pound hard the warriors to win the championship.

Amar’e Stoudemire announced retirement after 14 years, for such a young age at 33. What Derrick Rose think about now? Their super-team lost another big bench player.
https://twitter.com/NY_KnicksPR/status/758027996024414208/photo/1

He had talent, potential, and physical predisposition to become a truly great player.

Too bad neither him or D.Howard learnt how to post up or anything else except PnR.

shame

To become a great player? , i dont think so  because for me he really is already a very good player in his nba career , rose may feeling the weight his team facing right now but he should keep doing what he can for his team for sure
rose will make some noise to his career for sure he will show his value, i think one way of the player to be more aggressive is when they been traded they want to express their frustration and show more, i just wish that rose will be that kind of a player placing his self to another set of challenge and show his capability.

Surprised he wouldn't go with the Suns. Great career though, sucks that injuries and fire extinguishers derailed it. Why was it so important to retire a knick? I hate it when players do that, not only in basketball. Soccer too. They play for a team for a few years, then sign for a massive team and then act as if that team was all that meant something even though you spent most of your career at another team.
If I was the Suns I'd be pissed.

Westbrook to Spurs trade talk heating up..

Seems to be getting a bit more momentum behind it now
The talk is a possible trade of Danny green, Kyle Anderson and some form of picks.
If this happens would like the Spurs to try and move either Parker or mills as well...
Come on spurs .. Get it done

Rose should step up in the New York Knicks as it is his last chance already to step up and prove that he is a superstar that can bring a team into championship. I just hope he will not get injured this season so we can still see the best of him.

Really if they did there was no block for them to be next Shaq but they couldn't went up to that level. Still became a great player, rookie of the year, multiple times All-Star, one time All NBA first team and multiple times All NBA Second team. We remember him well, now enjoy early retirement.
