Jimmy Butler is back at it again with some nice(?) hairdo. Posted on his instagram and this is what you all will see, an orange braid.

Butler seems to be taking issue with Shams reporting that Butler was looking to be traded and laid out his preferred trade destinations. Jimmy went at Shams saying he was full of it and Shams responded by going off on camera about how his sources are good and he’s a professional so if he says it then it’s true… Jimmy to Golden State?

LeBron James is taking time off from the Lakers for “personal reasons.” I can’t help but think that this might be related to the P Diddy arrest. It seems like people are coming for these guys now. Jay-Z is being looked at and LeBron was part of that circle. This will be crazy if LeBron’s legacy is destroyed over Diddy parties.

I guess this issue starts to spread out because of this https://www.si.com/fannation/mma/news/ex-ufc-champ-calls-out-scumbag-lebron-james-viral-diddy-party-comment

And I'm surprised that there's certain like that happened since Lebron is known to be a family man and a good role model. But hopefully Lebron's camp can clear that out since we don't want to see the legacy of Lebron will be ruined just because of those awful controversy made by P Diddy.

Now they are getting media and people's attention so let see if there's good basis or solid proof that can point out Lebron's involvement with that issue.

OKC manage to limit Luka they have a good system not to allow the main star to contribute that well, a good team effort that gave them the win today, SGA as always leads them to the scoring productions with him and the rest of the OKC theytake the win and surely bring their fans a huge win today.

Keeping the top spot with 19-5 standing, still far but with how they are playing the game a combination of offense and a good defense that's really something that keep them on top.

OKC do not have the experience to play in the playoffs yet, it's a young team and because of that the yare not getting the calls they need and they are playing in regular season against teams that are totally different during playoffs which they need to learn more about. Eventually, if they can keep the core of this team going, I am sure that they are going to do much better, and they will grow to be a title contender as well but they just need a few more seasons for it, I would say maybe not this season and next season, but the season after that.

Last season though might be a good experience for them, and that's why they made the adjustments of trading Giddey in exchange of a great defender in Caruso. And so far it work, as Caruso has impacted their games with his hustle play that can't be recorded. He guarded Kyrie and make his work double hard just to score. And overall, I think their defense also improved a lot without sacrificing their offense.

They could be playoff bound again, but this time, from the lessons last season, they can get over the hump this year and show why they are the best team in the West right now.

For Curry's attempt, the Warriors will win or die with his outside shot.  Cheesy. And I do not think that Steve Kerr will blame him for taking that.

This is a late post about NBA Cup quarter finals Magic vs Bucks. Imagine Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero playing at the same time! Although the Magic didn’t win against the Bucks, they still managed to make it a crucial game, with only a 5 point lead by the Bucks despite all their key players Dame, Giannis and Middleton playing all healthy (Middleton played 20 mins and score 0 points) lol
I think if Paolo Banchero playing this season Magic might be the record this season not just in eastern conference.

Maybe this is just an observation of lately or has something to do with the mid season tournament, but it seems like there haven’t been many games on lately. Today has a couple decent games though. I like Boston and Sacramento to win against the Pistons and Pelicans. Doesn’t look like I’ll be able to watch any of todays games though.

In a world of basketball where defense is getting less and less attention, OKC has a very athletic team that is figuring out "five man switch" is a great defensive system that doesn't really get too many foul calls. That's why we are seeing them getting much better, they are getting good results as well. The only trouble is that during playoffs everyone else plays differently, and they all try harder and fouls are called even less, and things are not easy.

OKC do not have the experience to play in the playoffs yet, it's a young team and because of that the yare not getting the calls they need and they are playing in regular season against teams that are totally different during playoffs which they need to learn more about. You can 100% blame Curry, it was the wrong decision in so many aspects. And I already said it was most likely an ego thing that he wanted to put them to sleep.  Wink
Anyway, of course such things happen but from a veteran player like Curry I expect better decision making. You don't force up a shot after 14 seconds when you have 10sec to spare which would make it very tough for the other team to score in that short time. There was a lot on the line, especially for rookies and other people down the bench. Winning the cup would pay them a good sum of money if you compare it to their salary.

I agree. That's a very bad decision for him. I know he always wants the night-night thing but this is one shot to get to the NBA Cup and a lot is on the line. As you said, he can easily dribble the ball and consume time, because I doubt the Rockets will even try to foul him as the lead could go to three and that's harder than just letting them miss and use the remaining time.
GP2 got it back but there was no one to pass the ball, they actually got lucky with that but the Rockets were so persistent in getting the last shot so they stole it. That is Curry's fault and even if I am a fan of him, I think that was not a wise move. Well, he is probably more depressed than us. That's the difference.

What a game for the Warriors! There are many opinions about what happen to this game, most of those critics blames the officiating ref with that very wild call agaisnt Kuminga, as we can see similar thing happened before that scenario GP2 also in that same situation and coach Kerr is calling for the timeout but the ref ignored him.

Though a call is a call and there's nothing can be change after that win, crucial FT for Green that leads them to the Semis  for the NBA cup.

It's always easy to blame the refs but in my opinion they have made critical errors before that strange call.
First person to blame, in my opinion, is Curry. You lead by 1 and have 27 sec to go. So basically you can run the clock down to 3 seconds left and even if you don't get a shot off and turn to ball over it's just 3 seconds left for Houston to score.
Obviously you try to get a shot off, let's say with 1 sec on the shotclock. Best case scenario you shooting from 3, so the clock runs out while the ball is in the air, jumps off the rim (that's almost another second gone) and then maybe some Houston player gets the contested rebound. At that time there is like 1 or 1.5 seconds on the clock, at best.
Curry though forces a shot with 14 (!!!) seconds go, wtf was he thinking?? I think it was an ego thing, he wanted to make the dagger and his stupid "night night" gesture.

The other thing, GP2 should have called a timeout when he got the offensive rebound and was lying on the floor. What didn he do? He throws the ball basically away.

They make better decisions in both those situations and the game is over and the GSW win.

You can't blame Curry though, he wanted to close the show and maybe give us his patented "night-night" if he had hit that 3. Unfortunately, it was not even close. Probably one of those that Curry missed the shots, and so if there will ever be someone who will take that last shot, it will be Steph.

As for GPII I don't think that he has control of the ball 100% that's why he wanted to pass it to someone from his team mates. Of course, we have seen that in the pass that referee taking the blame, but Draymond did jump on Jalen Green. If Draymond had the ball then maybe it's the other way around, so with that, it's just the breaks of the game against the Warriors.

The Hawks have beaten the Celtics at Boston, Cavaliers at Ohio, and now the Knicks at MSG, what a complete run for an underdog team, let’s see if they can complete the heroic run which the Pacers couldn’t do last season.

That’s on the books, and I like how the Hawks responded when they were down. Just unlucky for me because I didn’t bet on them. Instead, I went with the over 110.5, thinking they’d score big in that game, but I fell short by 3 points.

Anyway, it’s fine, I’m hoping to recover my losses in the next game. No Wiggins, but that’s okay; I’m still backing the Warriors here.

It's almost halfway into the game and the Warriors now too will have to dig deep in order to turn this game around, Rockets are currently up by 14 points and the Warriors have only scored 26 points with just around 4 minutes left in the second quarter, they really just cant get anything going for them offensively, with this terrific Houston Rockets' defense.

Wild ending on the Warriors vs Houston, the Rockets won on Jalen Green's 2 clutch free throw. The referee called a foul on the last 3.5 seconds of the game, not sure if that is the right call or what as everyone is trying to scramble and get that ball.

With that win, the Rockets will advance in the NBA cup. Just to bad to see the Warriors losing for the first time against Houston after a incredible stretch. The last time that Houston won, they still have James Harden and Russell Westbrook.

NBA has lower viewership, not because of cup or anything silly they do, not play*-in, nothing else at all. They have worse viewership because what we are watching isn't resembling basketball that we used to watch, that is why it is becoming boring.

First they got rid of proper defense by calling everything a foul, players would be going to free throw line 10+ times a game, and that is why we are losing real good defensive schemes, we still have some few defensive specialists, but overall defense seems worse. Then Curry came out, which was awesome individually, he is great for the basketball world, he did made even little kids watch it, and that's a big deal considering their attention span is as long as a tiktok video, so getting their attention was awesome. But then everyone else started to play like Curry, everyone was shooting threes, for a while we had teams just taking turns shooting threes. Now even Lebron is taking halfwary court shots, that is not really what we want to watch is it?

It's hard to compare era's though, I mean the sports has evolved very much since the 80's-90's game that we grew watching, so I guess we have to accept that fact. Another thing is that the economy itself, maybe there are basketball fans that can't buy tickets to watch live as much as they want.

But so be it, I think it is still very entertaining to watch the games although it has change a lot. At least we've seen the greatest shooter the NBA has in Steph Curry. And then Lebron James making history playing with his son and breaking records.

Personally, I used to enjoy watching those players who could defend aggressively and make power layups. Now, such kind of players are either no longer in the league or are simply limited in their actions on the court because the NBA has become too soft.
p.s.
When it comes to the top players, I'm even wondering how much NBA viewership will drop when Lebron, Curry, Durant, and other players finish their NBA careers.

Speaking of Bronny, I hear he's traveling with his G-league team now.  He seems to be improving as well.  If he continues getting better, we may even see him grace the bench for the Lakers again this season.

He has been putting good numbers in the G-league, or least he has been given the chance to play more minutes and so he could improved and be ready for the NBA. We all know that he has raw potential, and he was just drafted by the LA Lakers to somewhat please Lebron.

Atlanta Hawks currently leading the Knicks in their game. The Hawks push themselves in the 3rd quarter, outscoring the Knicks at 30-18 to make that separation. But the quarter is not done yet and we still have the last so let's see how the Knicks will come back here.

It’s a crazy turnaround from the Atlanta Hawks which started from the 3rd Quarter, I don’t know if I should say the Knicks got too comfortable after their first half performance and with the Atlanta Hawks looking completely out of sync early in the game, but the 2nd half was a completely different affair, the Hawks were super solid, although they officials let a whole of contact slide (imo).

The Hawks have beaten the Celtics at Boston, Cavaliers at Ohio, and now the Knicks at MSG, what a complete run for an underdog team, let’s see if they can complete the heroic run which the Pacers couldn’t do last season.

Up next is the Warriors vs Houston Rockets; the Warriors are said to have the longest winning run against a team in the NBA over the Rockets, however it’s going to be a huge battle tonight without Andrew Wiggins, I guess Buddy Hield as well would have to step up with a lot of scoring responsibilities tonight for the Warriors to stand a chances.

I'll share a trivia. Darvin Ham is 14-0 on these NBA Cup games and its way back last season when they won the title as well with him as a coach.

That is an odd little bit of trivia.  Personally, I don't care at all about the NBA Cup and can't think of a good reason why it exists.  The only thing it really does is give the rookies on the team that wins a massive payday, but considering they aren't even the ones playing, it doesn't really seem fair to the rest of the rookies in the league.  I think they should do away with it altogether, but that doesn't look like it's going to happen.  I think the NBA will be adding a bunch more ridiculousness as they try to continue growing their viewership (it doesn't seem to be working so far).

That's why they are also thinking of expanding more teams to the NBA. If I remember that correctly they are planning to add 2 more teams and Las Vegas is one of the priority. Well, I think that alone can generate good revenue for the league.

I think the NBA will be adding a bunch more ridiculousness as they try to continue growing their viewership (it doesn't seem to be working so far).

Especially now that the Lakers are already out of the NBA Cup competition, judging by the most viewed games so far this season, their absence in the picture will likely not help increase viewership, even during the NBA Cup Finals.

Same reason why they drafted Bronny and kept him with the team this long despite of the very slow start. Something the people have not realized because they are thinking LeBron was the sole reason why he made it to the team.

New teams will generate more revenue, sure.  I don't think it will do much for making the game more exciting or generating more viewers on TV.  If anything, we'll see less teams with superstars and even more boring gameplay.

Speaking of Bronny, I hear he's traveling with his G-league team now.  He seems to be improving as well.  If he continues getting better, we may even see him grace the bench for the Lakers again this season.
