And Golden State Warriors won on the road against the Wizards, Green and Poole going at each other early, Lol. I think there's no love lost between the two. And Draymond had a good game with 18 points.

Nice to see Curry back in the lineup as he lead the team with 24 points in 24 minutes. I think the team really looks solid for now, execute better and shoot high percentage as well. It's fun to see this version of Warriors having fun, and they are still 6-1 tied with the Suns in the West.

I think Paul George doesn't have the same impact as before. He used to be a very effective player and could make a difference in the game, but now I think he's close to an average player.
It's very hard for Philadelphia to win games without Embiid. Paul George alone is not enough for the team.

He did suffer that horrific injury in the Olympics a few years back. At the very least that cut him out of his peak prime on the court. Now he is a 34 year old NBA player who used to thrive off his athleticism and explosiveness. I fear his best days are behind him and he will be lucky to make an all star team next year (his first year in Philly might get him some votes).

Well, without Embiid on the floor it's hard for the Sixers to beat any team I guess. Sure it's a big upgrade to have PG13 on the roster but without their main guy in the middle it's obviously still tough.
That 10:1 finish from the Suns was nice though. I was surprised they put Grayson Allen on PG for the final possession but it worked out and he missed the shot to send it into overtime. Not a Sixers fan because I dislike Embiid, so I am actually quite happy for the struggles the team has at the moment.  Grin
The Sixers led most of the game, but Durant took over in the final minutes, pushing Phoenix ahead. It was high-scoring, and Durant's shooting made the difference. Phoenix got the win, though they didn’t cover the spread. In the Denver game (the other game) , Denver were down two starters and trailed early, but rallied in the fourth to win by two. Both games were fun, but I'm a bit sad as I lost my bets on both favorites.

he just came back from injury, in fact that was his first game with the Sixers, so we can understand his performance, he might need time to adjust.

It's Paul George's first game of the season for the Sixers tonight. I thought the Sixers would get their second win since Paul George was playing, but it was close. The Sixers were already ahead in the 4th quarter, but the Suns managed to catch up.

Watched the game, and based on my observation they dont seem to trust Yabusele. They weren't passing to him even when he was open in 4Q. Although Yabusele scored 19 points tonight, the Sixers still didn't pass to him in the 4th quarter.

Paul George looked a little bit rusty on that last shot. Maybe fatigue played a role. There was a joke a few years ago when Paul George released a commercial showing him hitting a buzzer beater to win the game. People looked up stats that showed he never actually made a buzzer beater to win a game. Looks like he hasn’t changed that stat much.

I think that's how it will go for the Orlando Magic from now on until Paolo Banchero is back. Franz Wagner cannot shoulder the offense for the team and the highest scorer was him with 13 points. They were blown out by the Dallas Mavericks without any problem because of the missing superstar.

What can we expect from the Magic in their next games? Well, maybe they will win against teams like Pistons or Portland Trail Blazers but their schedule tells they are going to lose more. Their next stop is against the OKC Thunder, Pacers, and the Pelicans. They will probably lose all that game and I am putting my money on their opponent if the odds are decent.
Now the more games Banchero is out for the Magic, the more the whole team's getting exposed.

Ever since he got injured, they are winless. They're last 3 games, they lost by double-digit, and we don't know when Banchero will be back, but the team's exposed with this one that's for sure. His impact on the whole team is almost the same as with Embiid on the Sixers. The team can't play really well when they're out on their team.

TBH, I don't know if they will even win against the likes of Pistons and TrailBlazers or even the Hornets. Let's take note that the Pistons just won against the Lakers tonight, and the Blazers also won against the Pelicans. Maybe they can defeat the Hornets, but one thing's for sure. The team needs to step-up on offense if they want to be a playoff contender team. Somebody needs to step up offensively. I expect nothing from them. Their next 10 games is a bit hard because they will be up against Indiana (2x), the 2 LA teams and Phoenix as well.

Coach Pop having some health issues… Keep him in your thoughts.

According to the media, the reason for his health issues is not mentioned, but the last rumor I heard is that Pop is OK and just needs some rest. It should be noted that Pop will be 76 years old soon, and there hasn't been a coach in NBA history who could continue coaching at that age. Pop is unique in this regard, and I hope he can recover quickly.

I am also not a fan of Embiid, I am actually a hater, haha. All the stuff with his basically gifted MVP, then the whole shit show he pulled with team France and now all the resting/not playing bs, it's hard to like that guy.
But mentioning family, especially members that died, is totally out of place. But of course the media always writes stuff like this just to get a reaction and "hopefully" the worst out of the person the piece is about.
Sure Embiid should stay professional and be the "better man" but he is also a very emotional person, you can tell when you see him on the court, always whining about no calls and stuff.  Cool
Well, the reporter had it coming, it's funny he writes something like this and then even meets Embiid face to face, what did he expect?
This is the type of thing that west vs rest of the world is having trouble with. In many nations, if you say something bad about someone's brother or any family member, physical violence in return is the usual response, the west can comprehend that, they think "freedom of speech" mean something that protects you from other people as well, nope that's not how freedom of speech works, freedom of speech means you will not be jailed for just saying something and you can say anything about anyone's family member and you will not be jailed, that doesn't mean you will not be punched though.

In any case, I really hope that we could consider Embiid to be a dirty player without this situation, what happened off the court doesn't matter to me, but he has been a dirty player since day one.

If Embiid and his team just came from a loss then the emotions were at high at that moment and I think that he's got himself out of control. Embiid might be sensitive for such reasons and depending on the questions as well. But most of the professional basketball players like him should understand that they're a public figure and anything they do is being recorded and can spread globally of what they've done in split seconds. If the NBA is already investigating on this issue, let's see how it is going to be and how much fine or if there will be no fine given to him or if there will be suspension for which I think that's already too much if they're going to him that penalty.

And that game by Bucks and Cavaliers was crazy, Mitchell is really doing it and they'll have a rematch again. So typically, we do see these games that just after one of the same teams will have a quick rematch on the same week or after a day or two.
Sixers aren't looking that great neither, they are 1-4 so far and look to be doing a terrible job, I am not really considering them as a good candidate at all, feels like they may actually do worse. This is why I believe we need to consider how things could change for them, we will not be doing that much of a good job in the end, we should be considering how they could finally reach to a point where they could get a better result.

I think they are going to suck this season, and then they are going to get rid of Embiid, get some picks for him and do the whole "trust the process" thing again. They hoped, with Simmons and Embiid, they could just get some good pieces around them and win, and that famous "pass instead of layup" of Simmons ruined everything so badly that ever since that day, they have been doing terrible. I believe they are going to be upset about what's about to happen and we should consider how things could change for the long term instead.

Yeah seems like they are in deep trouble. I mean when a 30 ppg scorer is missing of course this has an impact on the team. It's also a bad timing because they are in the middle of a 5 game road trip with next games at OKC and Indiana. The schedule is not their friend at the moment and if they don't want to fall behind they need to step up a lot. Somebody has to take over and carry the team, hopefully Franz can manage that but without help that a big task, especially on the road and with an already existing losing streak.

They looked lost on offense that game since Paolo has always been the center of their attack. Remember, he scored 50 points before he got injured, which says a lot about how valuable he is to the team. Adjustments are necessary, but they won't happen instantly, so we might see them continue to struggle, especially against strong teams.

We can think of it like this: this team hasn’t shown much competitiveness against Dallas. If I were to bet, I’d keep betting against them until they start winning - just like I do with the Bucks and other teams on a losing streak. It’s been giving me some pretty profitable results.

Getting Doc Rivers might be the problem to them, there's also an additional assistant coach whom is Darvin Ham, the former Lakers coach.
It's a certainly a struggle that they're having and that recent game they've got against the Cavaliers with that last play of Mitchell was disappointing on their end.
Maybe Doc Rivers' style just doesn’t click with the team. The Bucks should focus on being a defensive powerhouse since they have Giannis, who can dominate the paint. The issue is their defense looks shaky, which makes them vulnerable against teams with strong outside shooting. Lillard isn’t exactly known for his defense, so even though he's an offensive player, having him on the floor can be a bit of a liability.

If another thing happens again with their next game against to Mitchell's team again, that would be devastating and heartbreaking.
We'll see how that plays out tomorrow when they face off again in Cleveland.

Who would’ve thought the Bucks would be struggling this early in the season? They're sitting at the bottom of the standings, doing worse than the usual bottom team, the Detroit Pistons. Their last game was almost the one to snap the losing streak, but Mitchell had to ruin that.

Now they’re trying again tomorrow, but at a different venue, against the same team that's heading in the opposite direction. If they lose again, that’ll just keep the streak going. Hopefully, they won’t get too frustrated; ever since they changed coaches and traded Holiday, things have really flipped - what started off positive has turned pretty negative.

And as we have said, the coaches tenure in the NBA is not safe, they are the first one to be blame. And partly it could also be the management, Mike Budenholzer bring them a ring and yet last year they fired him. And then they have Adrian Griffin, we make a good impression for the Bucks fans as he has brought a winning record for them. But the management is not satisfied though, so who they got? Doc Rivers.

So we have a discussions about it if I'm not mistaken if Rivers is a good fit for the Bucks system mid season last year. Maybe now we could have our conclusions that he might not be the coach that they needed. And this might lead to Giannis really being frustrated with his team that perhaps he wanted to be traded already. We are not used to seeing the Bucks sitting at the last spot this early with 1-5. Something needs to be done as early so that they can still salvage this season.

I was in the impression that it was removing Thanasis that cause them this kind of performances, just kidding, but in terms of struggling it was the players that needs to work with their system that last game against Cavs it was really a embarassing upset since they are playing in front of their home crowd, putting pressure to Mitchell as they should anticipate that he will be the one that will take that last shot, not new to the guy as he's really entitle to take that last attempts..

Moving forward, still early and there are many games that they can win  along with each other they just need to find that missing piece to start bouncing back.

Bucks management said he's a good bench energizer so maybe that assumption is partly true.   Cheesy

I guess their main struggle is the system introduce to them and players struggle to follow what the coach try to implement for their team. I guess Doc Rivers is not good for their team and it shows how bad their team last year and it seems their struggles still happening this year. They are currently at the bottom of East and this is not the Bucks we used to see before. To bad for them if they lose more since this is really a big shame for their organization.

There's already a sign from last season, when they replace their interim coach which has a good standing, replace with Doc Rivers, which is obviously, is not a click on them, and then they break their core, Holiday to the Celtics just to get Dame).

It is still on the road though, so it's really hard to see how the game will go as obviously, the Cavs has all the advantage and most likely they are going to keep their record intact while the Bucks will continue to struggle. The Bucks is 3:1 underdog, while the handicap +/-5.5.
