Hard to believe that the Bucs got eliminated, but Miami wasn’t the best team for them to match up against. I thought Bam had the best shot at containing Giannis. The East is up for grabs now. With the Warriors and Kings playing Friday along with the Lakers and Grizzlies, it looks like that will be a great night to watch some games.

Yes, I never thought that the number 1 seed in the East will be eliminated by the number 8. And we should give credit to the Miami Heat, everyone is counting them out in the beginning of the series. But when they won the first game, it's like they got the momentum specially that Giannis went down with injuries. However, in their 2 wins, we can say that the former champion choke in the 4th quarter. Looks like the Heat is the kryptonite of the Bucks for unknown reasons. I can't remember when was the last time the number 1 seed got eliminated in the first round. But this is history for us know.

I understand your point but I don't think East is up for grabs as you have meant. Celtics was always a big power both in the east and for the finals. They are surely a force to be reckoned with. Also 76ers are open to surprise results. Not as big as Miami, of course. What Heat did is utterly astonishing. Jimmy Butler was spectacular. He played one of the most surprising and legendary play off series, in my opinion. The 8th placed teams eliminated no. 1 only 5 times in NBA history. But this year's Miami-Milwaukee was by far the most unexpected, the most one-sided before the series. I like Miami since the bubble playoffs, but I wasn't expected they would beat Bucks at all. I don't expect them to win the east though.

New York Knicks will face the Miami Heat in the second round of the playoffs.

This will be a great series. The Heat might still be the underdog, but only slightly. I'm rooting for them to win because they beat the number one team, so there's no reason they can't beat the NYK.

I'm waiting for the betting odds to come out. My initial guess is that they will be very attractive for the Heat. Hopefully, that will come true.

Jimmy Butler on his 2020 form! He hits an insane shot in the last second of the game to force overtime, what a play. Congratulations to the Miami Heat for eliminating the 1st seed of the Easter Conference, the Milwaukee Bucks, they are now advancing to the second round of the playoffs.

Today's Game:

New York Knicks eliminate the Cleveland Cavaliers to advance in the second round of the playoffs.

Golden State Warriors leading the series to 3-2 from 0-2.

The Memphis Grizzlies beat the Lakes to force a game 6.

However, Lakers had their easiest series as well, so from here on out it is not going to be like this, they will lose probably. Warriors was another example, they do know how to beat the other team but they failed, they could have done a lot better and they failed at the road game. I feel like Lakers are good because of that, they may make mistakes, but not losing games so that matters a lot.

Nothing is easy, my friend. On paper, the Memphis Grizzlies were the favorites to win the series. The Lakers were lucky to win one on the road, but it's not over until it's over. If Memphis is able to win game 6, it will be a different story in game 7, as they will be playing on their home court. Therefore, the Lakers should give everything they have to ensure a win in game 6.

Lucky? So you are saying that the Lakers are just lucky that they won against the Grizzlies? What are you saying?

They're just a better team than the Grizzlies, and it wasn't luck that's the reason they won. Many are rooting for the Grizzlies to win against the Lakers because of how impressive they played in the regular season, but remember that the Grizzlies doesn't have Adams, and Clarke to help JJJ defend the paint. It would be a different outcome if those 2 are there to help the team.
Since the Lakers lead 3-1 in this series, they are definitely better than the Grizzlies. However, it's worth mentioning that they made a lot of mistakes in the 4th quarter. There were 5-6 minutes left when Davis got a technical foul for a 3-second violation, then Russell fouled, Schroder made a bad pass turnover, and Davis got an offensive foul again. All of this happened in literally 40 seconds and led to the Grizzlies leading by 7 points. That's why I said the Lakers were lucky to win that game because if Russell hadn't made those three-pointers, they probably would have lost.
I do agree that D'lo hitting three threes back to back is the reason why they made a comeback, but that doesn't change the fact that there is a huge problem for Memphis and how they are playing. They have a system that just doesn't work against Lakers, it just doesn't fit, Lakers have the recipe to figure that out and they have done that so far.

However, Lakers had their easiest series as well, so from here on out it is not going to be like this, they will lose probably. Warriors was another example, they do know how to beat the other team but they failed, they could have done a lot better and they failed at the road game. Miami Heat defeated the number 1 seed Milwaukee Bucks and knocked them out in the playoffs. Jimmy Buckets, wow! This is all the Bucks fault, they are actually winning in the regulation but they got careless. All they had to do was use the time but they let the Heat have an opportunity to put it at overtime.
Byebye Bucks.
One of the biggest upsets in NBA playoff history. The Bucks are the 6th top seeded team to got eliminated by the 8th seed.
On the other hand, the Heat made history as they're the first play-in team to win a playoff series.

I hope that Butler will gain more respect after winning against the Bucks. I mean after scoring 56 points in Game 3, he got 42 on this one. Jimmy "Buckets" in playoff mode. As for both teams, we've seen them matched up in the playoffs twice so you know that both have history already. This is the trilogy, and the Heat won. They know how to stop Giannis, and for sure the injury hinders him to perform even better.

I just don't know why in the hell the Bucks didn't call a time out in the 4th quarter when Butler scored. Also the final possession in the overtime is a very sloppy possession. Didn't make a shot on the buzzer? You're a top seeded team, and you performed like that? I will not be surprised if the Bucks will make some big moves this off-season. The team with the lowest odds are now eliminated.

How about the New York Knicks?! Defeating the Cavaliers and knocking them out too. I thought they are going to play harder, but I didn't really see that.
The Knicks play harder, that's a fact. But a problem came, Julius Randle, according to sources it's just a sprained ankle, I hope he is okay. Brunson though held the fort and they still won it.
Another upset.
Just for context, Jalen Brunson sent home Donovan Mitchell for the second straight time in the first round. First was when he's still in Mavericks, and they defeated the Jazz, and now is the second time. Let's give credits to them because they know how to stop Mitchell and Garland on offense.

Also give credits to Mitchell Robinson as well. Nobody's giving him attention, but he's one of the best offensive rebounders out there (maybe second to Looney). In this game alone, he got 18 rebounds and on those 18, 11 are offensive. Take note that Allen and Mobley combined for 13 rebounds ONLY. He's a monster inside, and they also have a good supporting big in Hartenstein.

Golden State Warriors! What a wild game! Draymond Green with 21 points, his last 20-point game was on December 25, 2019, against the Rockets.
He sure contributed a lot today and gave energy to the team. Steph Curry put the dagger to send it back to San Francisco with a lead on the series.
3-2.
Now the Warriors are one win away from sending the Kings home.
I'm just laughing while watching the final minutes of the game. I mean the Golden1 Center has been known for one of the loudest arenas this playoffs, but after Curry got that shot with a foul to seal the game, the arena went from one of the loudest to like a Ghost Town. They're very silent, and I'm here shouting while watching my favorite teams to win winning on the road.

The Kings' fans might've watched their final home playoff game this season. On the other hand, I will not disregarding the Kings still because they almost beat the Warriors in Game 4. They're only one shot away from stealing one on the road. It would've been a different situation if the Kings are up 3-1. Overall, I'm happy that the Warriors managed to steal one game on the road even though they're one of the worst team in terms of road wins.

Knicks vs Heat on the 2nd round.
Credits to Brunson, and Randle for leading their team in defeating the Cavaliers, but with how Butler played in the first round, for sure the morale for the Heat team is at it's highest, and the momentum for sure will be carried coming into the 2nd round. I'll go with the Heat with this one, and I will not be surprised if the Knicks will get beaten in 5 games as well, because I believe in Playoff Butler. Cheesy

These playoffs really are a treat for every basketball fan.

Miami @ Milwaukee right now is yet another crazy game with a crazy comeback in the 4th quarter.

The Heat down 16 at the end of the 3rd and rally back and send the game into overtime with a 0.1 sec before the end alley oop layup by Jimmy Buckets  Grin . Miami now with a 5 point lead in OT with 2min to go, CRAZY.

What a game!

The Warriors also just lost a big lead after 3 quarters and a 1 point game 5min before the end.

That's the stuff I want to see!!!

The Heat have eliminated the number one team in the East. It's a big disappointment for the heavy favorites to win the championship. Maybe soon we'll also see the number seven seed eliminating the number two seed, which is the Boston Celtics. Grin

Regarding the Warriors vs Kings game, the Warriors won the battle.

Perhaps one of the biggest reasons for their victory was Fox's injury. He wasn't very consistent in this game and had a low shooting percentage, especially from the 3-point line. One more win and the Warriors will advance in the 2nd round.

Those games were worth watching truly, except for Cavaliers vs Knicks which I didn't like the match up from the get go it's a 2 boring teams playing in opinion. I did started with Heat vs Bucks and the Bucks already seemed to have booked a game after the end of the 3rd then they lost their momentum again, after that, came another opportunity for the with just a 2.1 secs remaining in regulars time, but Jimmy Bucket did his thing and force the Bucks into OT. The controlled the entirety of the overtime, the Heat led right from the first possession until the final buzzer.

Lakers against Memphis was another interesting match after letting game 4 slip through their finger tips, Memphis took proper care today and made a huge statement as to why they the favorites coming into the series.

Knicks vs Heat on the 2nd round.

Must be very sweet for the Knicks considering they wanted to trade for Donovan Mitchell in the offseason but for some reason he ended up in Cleveland. Not a big Knicks fan but beating the Cavs in 5 was definitely surprising.

But still the Heat vs Bucks was THE GAME to watch. The Heat are just the 5th number 8 seed to ever advance to the 2. round of the playoffs. This comeback was not only amazing but also historical!

I remember Jimmy saying something like Heat becoming an NBA champion during the regular season and everyone's laughing. Look at them now taking down the number 1 seed. I can't wait to see them in the next round.

Close game also for Kings vs. Warriors but Fox couldn't deliver at the end. Unlikely that they can tie the series on Warriors homecourt.

Butler did it again; they came back to bring the game into OT. Let's see if the Bucks can still have the support of the refs, LOL. Looks like they really want the home team to win, but Miami is not giving up. They are shooting impossible shots in the dying seconds. The Miami Heat deserves to win this series, as they have the big heart here.

Nice lineup of games tonight.  I'm most looking forward to the Miami Heat vs Milwaukee Bucks game.  Even though I'm a Chicago Bulls fan and got to witness the great uprising of Jimmy Butler, it's been amazing to see how good he's done since leaving and continue to do without another super star player around him.

Also looking forward to the LA Laker versus Memphis Grizz game tonight.  I think the Laker are going to close out that series, or I guess I should say I just hope they do.

LA Lakers is down, the thing is, they have the luxury to lose this game and then come back on their home court to finished it off. While the Grizz back is against the wall and a must win situation

They do have the luxury to lose this game after that very draining game 4 OT. However, Game 5 and game 6 is a back to back game and the Lakers came out with a very bad game tonight. LeBron and AD played the usual 30+ mins, they might still are exhausted coming off the game 6. The Grizzlies on the other hand might have no serious problem with fatigues as they are a younger team and hungry to play.
The problem is, what if the Grizzlies continues the good momentum and the Lakers will have another bad game.
The game 7 will be a tough one to win for the Lakers.

On the other hand, same situation for the Cavs, down 3-1 against the New York Knicks, the Knicks started as the underdog in this series, but now they are on top. The Cavs is still fighting, down 8 points at the start of the 3rd quarter. And I think this will be another of those game that will be close. The Cavs doesn't want to disappoint their fans here.

Not yet - Memphis only has a single digit lead now, and although it may change, the fact that the Lakers have already come back means they have a big chance of ending the series tonight. Memphis had a good lead, but unfortunately, they're not good at protecting it, so this comeback by the Lakers is very dangerous since they've had a lot of success already in the past, even in this series.

Suddenly, the Grizzlies had a big run and now they're leading by more than 20 points. It's already the 4th quarter, so I doubt the Lakers will still be able to come back. They should rest LeBron and Davis already to avoid injury, as they won't be able to come back anymore. They should just prepare for Game 6 and make sure they finish the series in 6.

Sorry to those who bet on the Lakers - it looks like it's not their lucky day now.

On the other series, Cavaliers has been eliminated already, final series score is 4-1 in favor of the NYK.

I thought the comeback was for real, but Memphis held their ground strong. They didn't want to lose at home. Now this series is getting interesting - a win by Memphis on the road will make the series reach Game 7. So at this point, although the Lakers have the edge, I don't discount the chance that Memphis will be able to come back to win.
